Ce condo de plage de deux chambres offre une vue imprenable sur le golfe depuis presque toutes les piĂšces et dispose d'un grand balcon privĂ©. L'espace de vie principal du condo est un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert permettant Ă  tout le monde de se dĂ©tendre ensemble. Le mur sud du salon est composĂ© de baies vitrĂ©es offrant une vue imprenable sur la plage. Le balcon est facilement accessible Ă  partir d'ici. DĂ©tendez-vous dans le salon et admirez la vue ou dĂ©tendez-vous devant votre film prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© sur la grande tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat. Vous trouverez tous les ustensiles de cuisine dont vous avez besoin pour prĂ©parer des friandises pour la plage ou des repas complets dans la cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e. Amazing!

Portofino Resort's was more amazing than I expected. You did not need to leave the property if you didnt want to! It was very kid friendly Our unit was clean upon arrival with a gorgeous view. There were minimal issues with the unit: jacuzzi tub would occasionally flip the breaker, second bedroom balcony door wouldnt lock (though difficult to open, which was a positive wit kids) and dryer was slow to dry bath towels, though completed clothing in 1 cycle typically. I submitted issues on night one, and at lunch on day 2, staff was on site to address issues! We would love to return to this unit in the future.

Nice but not satisfied

Got to room.. Day 2 noticed 1/2 bath toilet seat was broken, called front desk to tell them they said we needed to call Southern Vacation Rentals.. didn’t have phone number readily available & we were running out. Called the next day nobody answered but left a message. No return call, got charged $45 for a toilet seat the SOMEONE ELSE BROKE. Called to tell them we didn’t break it & they said we had to call the 1st day. Also, went to use the dryer
 there was a whole load of half dried bath towels.. that’s MY JOB — NOT Will not be using Southern Vacation Rentals ever again

Great view!

Condo was great! Plenty of room for our party of 6. Several pool options at resort and easy access to the beach. Staff at resort were very friendly and helpful. Condo had a washer and dryer which was great but the dryer didn’t work well at all which was very disappointing. Other than the dryer issue, we loved the condo and had a great time overall.

Nice place

Overall, we enjoyed Portofino very much. We had several annoyances with our actual condo. We booked 8 nights for a family of 4 and only received 4 wash clothes/towels in total. The cleanliness of the actually dwelling was good minus a little sand. There were some stains on linens and we requested a fresh set. It appeared the extra sofa linens were not replaced after previous usage. We requested and were given some replacements but not extra washcloths. We purchased our own to make this simple. The toilet in the guest room sprayed water when flushed and the shower faucet dripped continuously. The owner(s) of the condo could certainly reinvest and with a few minor improvements it would make it a more appealing stay. We planned to utilize the pull out sofa for our son, however, no window window coverings in the living area he did not feel comfortable and could not sleep in. Additional areas needing attending/things that prevented sleeping- Fan that loudly wobbles, hot in guest bedroom (even when blinds were closed), furniture size/layout in living room isn’t ideal for a comfy family night, frig makes a LOUD noise when compressor kicks off, dryer is loud and doesn’t dry well, mattress was okay but not super comfy, the furniture in the master was uneventful. Mgmt was great along with the maintence guy who came quickly to a toilet issue. View is great along with location.

Great property! Condo was beautiful! About the only negative I can come up with is a few of the doors opened hard. Not a big deal. The view is amazing and there is quiet beach nearby!

AMAZING

This unit is simply amazing! As my husband and I entered the double doors we were absolutely stunned by the ocean view. It is breath taking. Each room is beautifully decorated and very spacious. We loved the outside grill and enjoyed the balcony view . Southern Vacation Rentals always promptly answered any of our questions and check in at the Portofino was a breeze. You wont find a more friendly or helpful staff! My husband and I plan to come back to this unit each year! Rates were so affordable. This unit is well worth the money spent.

Fountain vacation

Place was very nice. The room was nice just a few things the dryer didn’t dry well the water ion the freg looks dirty when u look up at it. Not enough toilet paper. Internet was not working at first. No shampoo and conditioner. Also not enough plastic Tupperware. The property was great

Big disappointment

We have stayed at Portofino for 16-17 years each summer and have always had a nice unit. This unit was a huge disappointment. The pullout sofa bed was broken and not useable, there were no curtains or blinds in the living area where the sofa bed was located. Two of the bathroom doors were off the hinges and would not close. The kitchen was not stocked well; there was no Keurig. There weren’t enough towels and several of those had holes in them. The furniture throughout the condo is old and very worn/tired looking. Portofino is such a nice resort and to have units of this caliber is surprising. The rental company did come out to inspect and was able to fix one of the doors. They explained that the units are individually owned so all they could do was let the owners know.

Fire alarms every other day!

Stay away from Building four. At 60 years of age, my wife and I had to descend 19 floors of stairs TWICE in four days! Very sore. We saw people with walkers totally helpless. Firemen say they come out here at least weekly!

One Parking Spot

Everything was great besides number of parking spots listed online and what the resort gives you. Online listed 2 personal parking spots but the resort only allowed 1. My party 6 needed the extra parking space. Even though the towers are beautiful!!! They are pretty secluded from everything and you gave drive about 3-5 miles 2 everything. Other than that the stay was pleasant.

Recommended for a small goup

This property was well cleaned- the room cleaner was clearly attentive to details. This is enough for about 4-5 adults and maybe 2 or 3 kids but ideally, no more than 6. We thought the unit came with 2 inside parking... but there’s only 1, however, there are plenty of parking outside. The owner was very quick to respond to issues that Came up during our stay. Portofino is a great place to stay. This condo is worth considering especially if you have kids because it’s in tower 4 which is situated closer to the amenities. By the way, the rent was the lowest rate I found, too.

Don't go through Southern Vacation Rentals!

Communication was horrible. We were not notified of an area wide voluntary evacuation order until after it was unsafe to evacuate the area. We were without water for 3 days, had to go down 12 flights of stairs and were instructed to go outside DURING A HURRICANE! No refund, no apology. We were offered nothing
