Profitez de la vue à 270 degrés sur les montagnes Swannanoa et Craggy depuis cette belle maison de montagne à deux logements construite en 2007. AccÚs par route 100% pavée avec parking pour 4 voitures. Entrée privée et tous les espaces privés, parfaits pour les familles. Les clients ont accÚs à l'ensemble de l'unité inférieure. Toutes les chambres sont entiÚrement meublées. La chambre principale comprend un lit king-size et une salle de bains, la deuxiÚme chambre comprend un lit queen-size et un lit double. Cuisine entiÚrement équipée et appareils bien approvisionnés avec presque tout ce dont on aurait besoin pour cuisiner / se divertir. Le salon et la salle à manger ont un concept ouvert: salle à manger pour 6 personnes, salon avec Dish Network / tv, wifi, canapé-lit queen-size, table à cartes, livres et jeux. La buanderie entiÚrement équipée comprend une laveuse et une sécheuse. Grand patio couvert pour profiter des magnifiques levers et couchers de soleil dans les vallées de la riviÚre Bee Tree et de la riviÚre Swannanoa. Idéal pour les grillades. Une allée pavée privée peut garer 4 véhicules.

Proximité de: centre-ville d'Asheville 11 miles; Biltmore Village 10 milles, Black Mountain 7 milles; Blue Ridge Parkway, 6 milles; d'innombrables possibilités de loisirs en plein air sont facilement accessibles en une heure de route et certaines sont situées à quelques minutes; situé entre deux brasseries (Pisgah et Highland) et beaucoup plus avec un lecteur de 10 milles.

Les hĂŽtes sont toujours disponibles via l'application de message, le texte, les cellules et souvent sur site. Nous sommes des passionnĂ©s de plein air et connaissons les nombreuses possibilitĂ©s de loisirs de la rĂ©gion, il suffit de demander. Nous avons Ă©galement beaucoup de cartes et de livres de la rĂ©gion dans notre collection personnelle que nous pouvons prĂȘter.

Le quartier environnant est principalement composé de retraités vivant dans une seule maison. C'est trÚs calme et paisible. Il peut y avoir des travaux légers pendant les heures normales de bureau, mais ils sont assez éloignés et à peine perceptibles.

The WI-FI was spotty. I had to use my phone on data if I had my iPad on WI-FI or it became too slow to use. The place was clean and neat but highly dated. A new living room rug that is not overwhelmingly stained would be nice! The beds were very comfortable.the kitchen had all we needed. Beautiful view and although we did not utilize the fire pit it looked lovely!

Great view!

Host went out of his way to make us welcome. Beautiful view, and well stocked! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Warren Wilson College , it was very convenient!

Great spot

Nice view off the front patio, great for us because we didn’t need to be in Asheville, but close enough if you need/want to go. Easy check in/out process. I guess technically it is a basement/ground floor apartment in a larger house, but doesn’t really feel like it. Spacious and lots of windows. Would stay again.

Nice, Quiet Place, Warm and Friendly Hosts

We spent 10 days here at this place, and we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness, the amenities, and the warmth of the location. It's a short drive to Asheville, and you get a nice view of the mountains. There is a hillside front yard that is fantastic for the kids--our kids ran out there almost every day, up and down the hill. There are all kinds of amenities provided, and we really enjoyed the space. Kristian was kind enough to offer a bicycle when I asked for one. He was also very prompt to answer any questions I had. The only quibble we have is that the description said something like you get the run of the house. What you actually get is the bottom floor. Now, each floor has its own entrance, and we never actually saw the hosts, but given the description and the pictures we thought it would be the whole house. What this also means is that we often heard footsteps above us, during the day and in the night. I myself didn't mind, but my wife is very sensitive to this kind of noise, especially if someone upstairs dropped something on the floor late at night. All in all, I would recommend this place, I would go back, but I think it should be clear to anyone looking to stay here that you do not get the whole house, just the bottom floor (which is plenty spacious in itself).

Awesome Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains

I highly recommend this property to anyone needing some time away with fresh air and mountain views! The place was so clean and spacious (please know that this a basement rental, but you would never know it, except for the occasional pitter patter of footsteps as the owners do live above the property). The property felt very private as you have your own driveway and entrance. Just be aware that the driveway is steep and does take some maneuvering, but you get the hang of it quick! The kitchen is bigger in person than in the pictures and the place has a mixture of modern updates and a country vibe. I did love the fireplace as it helped make it feel cozy! The owners were very attentive and responsive! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making our family winter vacation that much better. Happy New Year!

Not as expected

I was not aware that the property owner would be staying above us the entire time. It was not very apparent in the description that we would only have the bottom half of the property nor that the owner would stay above during the time we had booked. So, I think that the description be changed to adjust this as well as alert guests. Other than that, the property was well kept. One thing I will also note was that it was hard to find ubers/lyfts into town after 6PM. Most drivers don't want to go that far which made it hard transporting back and forth.

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed our trip and the owners were very flexible in check in and check out. Bed was comfortable and amenities were accurate online. Since this is a basement rental, the owners live upstairs. When they are home, you can hear them walk above you.

Delightful Home!

We were three women in Asheville for a girls weekend. The house was great! It was relaxing & quiet (except when the owners were home - could hear them walking upstairs). Location was good - close to Asheville and hiking. I would certainly stay again.

Very nice, would stay again.

All the rooms were spacious and comfortable for our four adults. The view of the morning fog dissipating over the mountains from the front patio is spectacular - enjoyed best with a cup of coffee.

Clean and amazing views!

Hello,

I grew up in south Florida, and went to college there. My wife and I met in Asheville in 2000. We went to graduate school and lived in Arkansas until we moved back here in 2017.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We moved back to the Asheville area to be closer to family and to take advantage of all the outdoor recreation. We wanted a house with an in-law suite for when our parents need it. Until then we are renting it out on VRBO.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

If I live in the mountains, I need to see them. This house delivers the view in spades. We live here year round and didn't want to be on top of the mountains with steep, curvy, gravel roads. We access our house in all seasons and it is paved the entire way. I love watching the weather interact with the Swannanoa mountains and the Swannanoa River Valley. It is always breath taking.
