Three generation trip

The location, the spacious condo, and the many amenities of Punta Mita made for a fun trip for our family. We loved being close to the town and uncrowded swimming pools!We hope to return soon.

Beautiful property in Hacienda de Mita

We've been to PM several times and love Hacienda de Mita - all units are very similar. This unit was clean and beautiful and had wonderful ocean views and easy access to either walk into town or use the golf cart. Will definitely be back!

Excellent getaway with friends

We had a blast and enjoyed all of the amenities that our stay included. The home was lovely and well-equipped. All of the staff were wonderful. It was spotless. The golf cart got lots of use exploring all of the different beach clubs. Overall, it was a great trip, and the accommodations were perfect.

Absolutely Amazing - Will be back!!

Everything about this vacation was exceptional and exceeded every expectation. Our service from housekeeping to the beach clubs and especially our concierge Cesar was probably the best we have ever encountered. Perfect Family Vacay

The condo and view are spectacular! The kids were thrilled with their own rooms and the Master bed was extremely comfortable. Our concierge was great, very attentive and easy to communicate with.. We loved the beach clubs and the easy access to get around in the golf cart. We’ll be back for sure!!

Very Relaxing Stay at Punta Mita

Property was beautiful and as depicted in pictures and description. Was great fun to take the golf cart and go to the various beach clubs. Especially enjoyed Pacifico for the Sunset! Concierge service was very helpful to replace a microwave and attend to issues/questions as it came up. Maid service and lunch service was very good.

Always our favorite place!

This was our second time staying at Hacienda de Mita, and we loved it. Rafael, our concierge, was very responsive. Our housekeeper/cook kept our surroundings tidy and prepared fantastic meals! The location of HDM right next to El Anclote can't be beat, as we loved the short ride or walk into town for dinner each night. We love that our rental came with a 6-person golf cart for ease of getting into town or around to whichever beach club we decided to visit that day (Pacifico was the clear winner for us.). We cannot wait to return--it was very hard to leave.

Housekeeper did a good job, washing machine is broken so only she can do your laundry since she knows how to work it. Listing doesn’t tell you that the gym facilities are $20 per day per person. We found that out once we got there.

Perfect for girls getaway!

This is our third trip staying in here for our girls trip without husbands and kids and as always it was fantastic! The condo is very spacious and easily accommodated 6 friends. Concierge by the Bay was very helpful with getting restaurant reservations, stocking the kitchen with our desired groceries and arranging in condo spa services. We also did have our housekeeper cook our breakfast every morning which was absolutely delicious. Access to all the beach clubs and a golf cart included with the condo is a must in my book when comparing places which this unit provides. We love the unit and location!

Family Vacation

Overall property was great! check in process was easy and groceries were there when we arrived. Our concierge, Cynthia was extremely helpful with reservations and suggestions. Having a golf cart was a plus. felt location was centrally located and able to visit the different beach clubs. It did not bother us that the pool was under construction and that there was a pool right next to it that was available.

Jackhammering

Been here a dozen times over the last 15 years and this was a terrible trip. There is jackhammering and heavy construction noise at the pool that was not disclosed and went from 10am-6pm every day. Our group had 3 condos and 2 of the 3 had unbearable jackhammering noise all day. We got lucky that our noise was “just” the pool as my friends unit had Jack hammering in the unit directly below them everyday. To add to this, several people got Covid and were sick - so they literally where stuck in a unit listening to Jack hammering. Wish I could get a refund as we ended up leaving early and other moved off Hacienda condos into hotel rooms in town so they could rest. We truly used to love this place, but this experience will cause me to question if it’s worth the money in the future (especially with so many nice options in town now).

Warning: Plumbing issues all week and loud construction ruined our stay

Pros: The condo is spacious and clean. The ocean view is amazing. Lovely patio. Concierge tried her best to help us and did a good job scheduling outings, transport, massages, etc. Cons: First. the listing didn’t mention that the swimming pool designated for the building was under construction! Not only that, our condo was right above it so we could hear loud drilling noises all day. Secondly, due to pool construction, there were several water outages during the week where water was turned off for several hours at a time. This happened almost daily and most of the time, we received no warning. It even happened during our facial. It was a pain having to go to the club house to use the bathroom. We couldn’t cook, shower. etc. The property management company did nothing to help. The vrbo listing should have added warning about the pool construction and the plumbing issues.

BOOK YOUR STAY NOW!!! I had the best time in Punta Mita with my 2 best friends. I was in a wedding, and my 2 girlfriends, one who is pregnant, attended the wedding as guests. The rooms were spacious, the views were wonderful and the customer service team was outstanding. Omar, our concierge, was so attentive and helpful during our stay. He answered all of our questions, provided wonderful suggestions for restaurants to go to, and set up our restaurant reservations and spa appointments as well as. The house keeping team was so amazing. Evelyn and Veronica are the best cooks. When you stay here, have breakfast, lunch and dinner made for you at least once. It is well worth the price and truly affordable. We also ordered groceries so that when we arrived at our condo the food was already stocked in the cabinets and refrigerator. Fresh pico salsa, guacamole and chips were waiting for us at the counter when we arrived also. We loved it so much that we requested it each day during our stay. Each room has its own bathroom and closet. If you need laundry done, simply put your laundry in the basket and the housekeeping team will do the laundry for you. My pregnant friend stayed in the master bedroom and enjoyed the massive bath with jets. She found it so relaxing. My other friend loved laying out by our building’s pool. I enjoyed laying on the balcony, enjoying the view and taking in the ambiance. The 6-person golf cart made transportation easy. The community is gated, as well as within the gates and safe. I read in some other reviews that there were some plumbing issues, and the place was dated. The condo is beautiful and updated. We did not experience any plumbing issues. The water pressure was perfect, and everything worked as it should. We plan to go back soon! Until next time!
