The house was absolutely gorgeous & great for families! They had everything you could possibly need & the indoor pool & hot tub were a great addition especially in the colder weather.

Everything was great! Host was very responsive and helpful. It was a very clean and quiet getaway. Very accomadating for a big Holiday dinner. They provided everything I needed! Would definately stay there again!

We loved our stay at Du Casa! Location was perfect and the home was spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool table was our favorite amenity and provided much entertainment. We were at the property for Christmas and the host was so thoughtful and had decorated and put up a tree. I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location near Grandview wildlife are was a plus and we enjoyed the outdoors!

This house was great as this was for a work trip. The dock was peaceful to hang out on anytime of day. Beach was within walking distance. Would stay here again.

I booked this for a 50th birthday getaway with some couples and friends. The house was just as listed, plenty of space, clean and a lovely outdoor space. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as well as other games and local activities. The beach was a short walk away. Our host was excellent to work with. He communicated promptly and showed us some flexibility with check in and check out. Located 17 minutes from the Hampton Coliseum where we had concert tickets for the weekend. Highly recommend renting with this property owner.

Birthday beach house

The house was amazing truly! I’m so glad I got the chance to get together with my family and friends. We all live across America now that we are grown-up and this is a great chance to get to see everyone. Wish we got a chance to use the pool. But besides that the place was perfect and great walking distance from the beach.

Family vacay

There were a few minor blips, but overall it was a nice house, great location, the pool was wonderful. Would have liked it to be more secure. The locks on the doors from the house to the pool didn't work and the locks from the pool to the outside didn't work. The owner was quick to respond with most matters. It was clean, and a very big house! Would recommend staying

Great winter getaway

Great Get Away Place to Stay

We rented this property for our annual Christmas in Virginia in January trip. I was exactly as described on VRBO. Chengan was a very good host and very helpful. He met us at the property to go over information about the pool and spa and security cameras. He left his phone number to contact if we had any issues. He even had two Christmas trees set up for our use. Everyone enjoyed the pool and spa and the pool table. We walked to the nature preserve which was at the end of street. Just a quick walk through the preserve, and we were on the beach. Talk about hidden gems! There were plenty of bedrooms and beds for our group. There was also three cots in the closets to use if needed. The house is located outside of Hampton and is about 1/2 hour from local attractions/historical sites. All in all, it was the perfect place to hold our annual family get together. We all just wished we had more time there. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful home

Let me start by saying we came when Hurricane Ian was coming up the coast. The weather was definitely a factor, but overall the house is beautiful, there were plenty of bedrooms for our families and 3 bedrooms have a personal bathroom, which worked out very nice. You could not ask for better communication with Chengan, he always answered his phone or texts that we sent. We were a little nervous because of the weather, but he reassured us and he was right. The walk down to the ocean was nice and not far. The only complaint we had was the pool water does not get warm enough to swim. Of course, again if the weather were warmer, I am sure it would have been nice. We would stay again.

Great pool house

Our family really enjoyed our time at Du Casa! I can honestly say I have never worked with a host who was more responsive and generous. When an issue outside our control affected our arrival, Chengan went above and beyond. Our kids LOVED the pool, and we also had fun with the pool table and all the games and puzzles. There was plenty of space for the whole family, a huge tv with Netflix, a great washing machine, etc. One thing to note is that the room with the indoor pool is not heated, so if you want to watch kids from the sidelines, plan either to bundle up or to wait for spring. Being in the pool itself was very comfortable, as was the hot tub! Thank you for a great stay!!

Thanksgiving Castle

Very nice house. Quiet location but with easy access to grocery stores etc. Plenty of room for everyone to gather around for meals or just visiting. Our concern about no cable channels except NETFLIX (No football on Thanksgiving. Oh My!) was quickly resolved. I would definitely reserve the property again and recommend it to anyone who needs a great place for 10 people to stay together on a vacation.

Disrepair and Mold

Hottub is broken. Owner stated that it is not but it definitely does not operate properly. Toilets are not attached to wall. Toilets do not flush properly. Bathrooms smell like urine. Beds are pieced together from old bunkbeds and one has a very large stain on the mattress. Pool is functional. Sliding glass doors are barely operational creating safety issues when exiting the home to the back. The home is decorated nicely however this is a facade to many repair issues that have been completed improperly or not at all. There's mold growing in the closet. Owner stated that it was from a roof leak. All of my children are now very sick as am I. The stairwell leading to the upper level is literally falling down. This is an extreme safety hazard rendering the upstairs unusable. Many faucets do not work and are falling off. Shiplap in ceiling is obviously hiding other issues and is loose and sagging. Interior pocket doors do not open and close. Too many repair issues to list. (SC Home Inspector was onsite as a guest. States home is not fit for rental). My main concern is my very sick children. Owner was contacted and did not think the issues were of concern.
