We would rent this space again. Beautiful view and right next to the river. Everything was clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for floating, enjoying the local shops and food, and right across from the water park.

Just a couple things

Overall the property was clean, except the kitchen. We found sticky residue in the bottom cabinets. Pots and pans were old and nasty. Oven was so dirty the grease in the bottom caught fire when I put a pizza in to cook. No fire extinguisher or smoke alarm that worked. Took awhile to get help. Big Chief did send new pots and pans and a fire extinguisher. The oven was checked out and they said it still worked. I did not cook in it again as the grease and fire smell was still there. I had to throw away frozen food I planned to cook.

Great place

Perfect spot on the river. Our teens were entertained with fishing, swimming in the river, and quick access to tube chute, Gruene. The condo was perfect. Everyone slept well and was comfortable. Love coming to stay here been coming since I was in high school and won’t stay anywhere else.

Condo was very clean and comfortable. Slight mishap with refrigerator on first day but VRBO property mgr took care of it next day. Would stay again

Love this location for the Comal float

This is our second time at this condo facility and first time at this specific condo. We love this little spot. We get to watch the people float by one the Comal out the window and get to swim in the river in the evenings. 444 tubing is right around the corner and there are deer every where for you to enjoy. This condo is nicely decorated and they are responsive to your needs. My only downfall would be that there is only one pot to cook in but otherwise pleny of plates, bowls and silverware. We will be back for mext years trip!

Favorite Spot

We've stayed at many properties along the river over the years and this one is by far our favorite. The grounds are well kept and very secure. Location is perfect for us. We can walk to downtown and the park. Always an awesome time!

Comal River Condo

The greatest thing about this VRBO is its location! Directly on the river (accurate as pictured on the listing) and within a short walk of tube rentals. Unit is in definite need of updates / renovations but such an incredibly fun place to stay!

Enjoyable

Beautiful scenery. Minor issues but overall satisfied. Blinds were broken and there were a few tiny bugs around sink in bathroom. We would stay again. Relaxing time.

Complex is old and needs refurbishment. Condo is OK but could be updated as well. Baths are very small. Condo had no coffee, no dishwasher detergent, no soap for shower, no shampoo, 3 plates, limited number of utensils, can't imagine how more than 2 people could stay in it comfortably.
