Introducing Chez La Mer!
This welcoming 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sits quietly back from the street with a well manicured fully enclosed front yard. A nice spacious deck invites you inside this lovely, quaint and clean home. This unique property comfortably sleeps 6 people and has two master bedrooms with king size beds and one bedroom with a queen bed. Each master bedroom has a tranquil private deck. There is plenty of privacy with one en suite bedroom upstairs. There is a cozy living area with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a fireplace as well as a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a Wolf range. Amenities include washer/dryer, one car garage, internet access and electric vehicle charger.
Equipped with all the beach essentials, this house is walking distance to the ocean. Or if you prefer to dine and shop in the village, you are only a short walk to town!

The home was lovely and spacious, clean and more than accommodating. Marni was wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful with our stay. We could not have asked for a better stay and we absolutely love Carmel and look forward to coming back. Just a fabulous experience and stay.

Great property, great location

Property was fully stocked with everything you could need. Well set up for cooking, games, etc. Location is perfect- lwalk to shops, restaurants, and the scenic trail. Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Our family of 4 adults all give it 10/10!

Family Vacation

This property is awesome. Such and cozy home located just outside the downtown area of Carmel. Walking distance to amazing restaurants and the beach. We had such a great time relaxing on the deck and enjoying the fireplace on the cool mornings.

A beautiful comfortable home

All one’s needs were considered. Great kitchen supplies, perfect bedding and furnishings. Fun and eclectic art and sculpture everywhere. Gorgeous gardens and deck. The location is central and yet quiet. We would love to stay again someday.

Awesome property close to town, beach and Clint’s place!

We loved our second stay at this super clean, very comfortable home. Has everything you need for cooking and meal preparation. Great fireplace, comfortable couches, beds and linens. Marni was a great communicator and the check in process was easy. Can’t wait to come back in 2025! Thank you!

Great place. Super clean and close to town. My wife and I for a week, more space than we needed but we like having a kitchen and living room as opposed to a hotel. It’s not a bad thing, just how it is but the outside space is relatively small. Small table to eat at on the deck.

Haven, even in Weather

Graceful ample interior, sitting porches, all kitchen and bathroom amenities, plenty of space and 3 full BRs and 2 full modern baths. Walk to town, but far enough from cars or noise, walk straight down to beach. Easy trip to market and Carmel village. Quiet and just what we wanted. Big storm outside, we stayed inside.

Beautiful Carmel Home

We loved staying at Chez La Mer. The house has great outdoor spaces and beautiful garden. Inside there are two "primary" bedrooms and nicely appointed bath. There is a large family room with fireplace and comfortable seating. The house is very tastefully decorated and very well appointed. The owners have thought of just about everything anyone could need. We had a great week in Carmel staying at this beautiful home.

Excellent stay in Carmel

We would stay here again. Perfect home for the two of us within walking distance of the main commercial area but far enough away to avoid parking snarls and crowds. Kitchen, living area, garage and bathrooms all had excellent stocks of supplies that we needed. Owner might live here during non VRBO days, which accounts for the high quality of the home. One car garage is fine for our purposes. Wi-fi and TV's are top notch. Good communication with owner.

This property was perfect for our group. It had everything we needed and much more we didn't even know we needed. The equal distance to shops/restaurants and the beach was just perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vacation home to anyone. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Carmel by the Sea.

Great Stay

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Quick access to the beach and downtown Carmel. Home had all necessities and was well stocked. As with most places in Carmel - was a bit tricky to find at first but had quick communication with the hosts who were very helpful and directed me easily. Would certainly recommend!

Excellent quiet location in Carmel

Carmel Trip

This is a wonderful property! The owner was so thoughtful to provide everything we needed, including soap and shampoo! The location was perfect (we could easily walk to our relatives' house a few blocks away), and it is just a short drive or refreshing walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. We loved it!

Perfect house in the perfect town

I looked onVRBO to find the essential quaint Carmel cottage. I found it in this property. The look of the property inside and outside is quintessentially the spirit of Carmel. The house was a great fit for two couples.Essentially two complete suites with king size beds in each plus a third bedroom. Washer and dryer, garage, completely equipped kitchen, two comfortable couches in the living room, a dining table and bathroom amenities of a world class hotel. A table out on the deck provided a great space for afternoon drinks between day activities and dinner and it is far enough from the center to have no noise or parking issues but close enough to walk into the center of everything. We loved our week long stay.
