Maison de campagne fermée de 5 acres avec étang. Terrain superbement aménagé avec de grands arbres d'ombrage. Les installations comprennent un porche, un foyer extérieur, des barbecues, du kayak, de la pêche, de la randonnée ou d’autres activités de plein air. 3 grandes chambres avec des meubles bien aménagés. Antenne satellite et internet haut débit. Bureau à domicile, cuisine bien équipée. Jacuzzi sur le pont pour observer les étoiles, endroit très privé pour s'évader. La propriété borde un grand ranch clôturé pour voir les espèces exotiques depuis le porche.

If you are looking for a relaxing experience without the hustle or the noise of city life, this is for you. The host was amazing. The back porch was a wonderful place to have coffee. This ranks in my list of 3 to return to. Bedding was awesome and we are retired with back issues. The bathrooms were very nice and very well stocked. As I love to cook the kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and other supplies that were much appreciated as we ended up having my granddaughter and her 2 babies with us. Beautiful location with the pond made some pictures with the babies.

Peaceful country setting with beautiful pecan trees and nature sounds instead of traffic, horns etc.Home away from home, kitchen cookware, dishes, utensils were like new. Nice to have a fridge with an ice maker, beds were very comfortable. Liked that the owner was very welcoming, responsive and accommodating. The grand kids loved fishing with their grandpa while there. Close enough to Brenham if you need an ice cream fix along with a tour at the Blue Bell Creamery. We will stay there again when in the area.

This was our 2nd time stay here snd we absolutely love this property. It has evetything we need. Close enough to stores, but isolated enough to give you that relaxation we much seek. Tom is always a text/call aeay and very responsive.

As other reviews have said, this is a wonderful home in the country. Clean, comfortably and wonderfully furnished, well stocked, peaceful, yet close to Sealy, Bellville, and Katy. I enjoyed fishing the pond daily (catch and release). We loved all the birds singing songs. We enjoyed a trip to shop Bellville. Church, brunch, and even a local festival. Friday night took us into Katy for a formal dinner, then some live music at Wildcatter Saloon. Quiet, private, yet close by. Tom (host) is very welcoming and ensured we had no issues needing attention. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

This priperty was amazing! Our dogs were so happy here, and it was a great family place. Kids loved the kayak and fishing. My mom who is elderly and has some mobility issues loved the wrap around porch and sat outside most of the day. Kitchen was well stocked and i nhoyed cooking in the space and all 6 of us enjoyed meals at the dining table. Beds were comfortable (the master is very tall but mom just needed a boost up) and we all loved the prace and quiet! Would definitely stay here again and again!

Was looking to get out of the city for my birthday and found this gem! Property is well maintained and private. Spent 99% of our time out on the deck or in the hot tub. We were able to relax and do nothing but listen to the birds, breathe fresh air and watch the butterflies. Tom was a great host with excellent communication. Oh, we did not want to leave!!! Would return in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

Relaxing Spring Break

This was our 2nd stay at Tom’s. Such a beautiful property. We got to fish, relax in the hot tub, take long walks on the property. A great place to take a break from the hustle of the day to day!

Peaceful Country Getaway

This is the epitome of peace and quiet. The property is amazing and beautiful. If you are looking to just getaway and relax, you will not be disappointed! The pond for fishing or sitting in the hot tub is perfect to to just detach with the world. I would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone.

You will love this place

Like stepping back in time, quite peaceful, nature, clean, anything needed for your stay is there. Great shower. Loved the crisp sheets. Morning coffee on the porch. Tv in every room. Would definitely stay there again...Eat at Tonys for breakfast. !!

Wonderful weekend

The property was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. The pond is beautiful and the fish were fun to watch come up and eat. The house was decorated to the T. It was spacious and the amenities were to perfection.

Great location in the country

Tom is a great host. We made frequent use of the pond and large yard. It’s amazing how much of a breeze you get on the back porch.

Peaceful Getaway in Nature

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, peaceful, with plenty of nature around. We enjoyed taking long walks around the property with the dogs, building a fire, hot tub, and dinner on the patio during sunset! We also visited a local blacksmith and made really cool knives and did “tomahawk throwing.” 10/10 would stay again

Quiet country getaway

Took my aging MIL to this quiet getaway for some peace and quiet, and relaxing family time. Did a lot of porch sitting! Very comfortable house, everything we needed. Never even left the property! The grounds alone were a beautiful view.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Great house for relaxing, either in the house or in the hot tub. And my son loves fishing everyday!! House was clean and nicely decorated. Beside fishing there was other games and plenty to explore outside. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in at night. The beds were very comfy! Highly recommend!

Cozy Home on Beautiful and Peaceful Property

My husband, daughter and I rented this home for our visit to the Round Top Antique show. The drive to Round Top was a 40-45 minute drive through some beautiful countryside. The property itself was secluded and peaceful and the home was so comfortable! Sitting on the back porch watching the rain and enjoying the welcoming bottle of wine was the perfect start to our trip. Tom, the host, was great in communicating with us from the moment we made our reservation to checkout. We definitely hope we have the opportunity to return!

Semi- retired living in Galveston. Purchased The Twisted Elm about 8 years ago as an escape to the country. What a gem that I enjoy visiting and continuously making improvements. Decided right before the first bout of Covid to convert to a vacation home that has really become very popular because of its close proximity to Houston. Folks have really enjoyed this place as much as I do.

Private, gated, large shade trees, pond, walking trails, wildlife, and very beautiful grounds. Comfortable home with superior furnishings.
When you drive through the gate and see the property you will truly be amazed at how beautiful it is... I fell in love with this place the first time I visited. When the sun begins to set the lightning bugs and other country creatures begin to wake up. Sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee in the morning is a great start to a new day and adventure.

Very quiet, beautiful sunrise/sunset. Star gazing is fantastic especially while in the hot tub.
Fish? For a rookie or a pro. Bass, Perch and a few hybrid bass. The wrap around and covered front and rear deck are very inviting.
Just walking the ground is truly amazing, come and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Tom O
