FireIslandGetaway! Familles et groupes d'ùge mûr: Wks / Midwks / Wknds - 100 yds to Beach

Notre spacieuse maison de 4 chambres, semblable Ă  un loft, est situĂ©e Ă  seulement 7 maisons de l'OCEAN et propose des locations Ă  la semaine, au week-end et en milieu de semaine, disponibles d'avril Ă  octobre! Les longs week-ends sont Ă©galement disponibles pour les vacances. (Des jours supplĂ©mentaires peuvent Ă©galement ĂȘtre ajoutĂ©s pour crĂ©er de "super" escapades de week-end!)

Notre maison simple mais entiÚrement équipée est bien répartie sur 1 niveau, avec 3 grandes chambres dans la maison principale (2 chambres ont 1 lit queen dans chacune; la 3Úme a un lit superposé), et une chambre séparée pour les invités le dos avec 1 lit double pour 2. La maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes et dispose de 2 salles de bain (une avec douche) et d'une douche extérieure.

Nous sommes dans une zone familiale calme et ne louons que les familles et les groupes MELLOW, matures qui acceptent nos rĂšgles strictes en matiĂšre de bruit de maison et de communautĂ©. Les fĂȘtes ne sont pas autorisĂ©es!

Family Vacation

We booked this beach house at the last minute for a family vacation. Chris was very responsive and flexible with the booking. Location was great and the house was stock with all the things needed.

Wonderful House & Host

The house was great, fully stocked with everything you could need in a kitchen. Having the bikes, wagon, towels & beach supplies definitely a bonus. Chris the owner was a pleasure & very accessible. The “Quiet” section is a thing we were 6 adults over 40 I might add and could not play music at night without a neighbor calling the cops- Only down fall. Everything else was great highly recommend to a quiet family.

Great location!

Great location - steps from the beach and 5 minutes bike ride / 20 minutes walk to grocery shop and Ocean Beach with its restaurants. Chris is a great host - responsive and accommodating. We were grateful that he allowed us to stay past his standard check out time to make it easier for us to get on the afternoon ferry.

Clean, comfortable house in quiet neighborhood

Chris was an excellent host, answering questions quickly and providing all the info we needed. The house was just great. I was especially happy with the kitchen, which was well stocked with equipment and was easy to prepare large meals in. I would gladly stay there again.

Perfect Fire Island Weekend

My friends and I had the best time staying at this house. The location is great, can quickly walk to the ferry and restaurants of Ocean Bay Park but on a quieter part of the beach. We loved cooking, spending time on the large deck, and sitting at the beach. Always a great weekend away

Perfect Beach House

Cozy, clean, thoughtfully furnished and supplied, this is a perfect beach house, quintessential OBP. Chris responded to every question and even welcomed our dog. Beds are extremely comfortable. We got our best nights' sleep ever. Outdoor shower is very nice, back deck Is spacious and welcoming. We'd love to go back.

A block from the beach

Great location, great amenities like the wagon at the ferry, good bikes, nice deck chairs, kitchen fully stocked with equipment and up to date appliances, good layout. Fans only in the living space. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. . But I was surprised to learn that I had to do all the linens including beach towels. It literally took me the entire Check out morning doing the laundry. Ask before you book if you have to do the laundry.

Very relaxed week at the beach. Location could not be beat. Large kitchen with everything you need and comfortable beds and outdoor space. Love the outdoor shower.

Location, location, location

This property was perfect for someone looking for a place that’s a short walk to the beach and a bike ride away from shops, restaurants and bars. Not the fanciest home, but had everything you needed to have a enjoyable week. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location, Responsive Host

Chris was wonderful from the beginning, extremely accommodating - letting us check in earlier and out later than normal. He sent us the most wonderful detailed guide to the house and the island, making the stay a complete breeze and we knew everything we could ever want or need to know and then some! He gave us excellent tips on how to get groceries from the mainland, restaurants to try as well. We loved the cart ready at the ferry for us and just the ease of the whole process. The location was ~5 mins walk from ferry and ~2 mins walk from the most lovely and not crowded ocean side beach. The house contained everything we needed (including spices, a salad spinner! As well as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand/dish soaps - so we didn’t have to). We’d be honored to stay again. Thanks!

We are long-time homeowners. I am a life-long member of the community and an officer and 40-year member of the Ocean Bay Park Fire Department.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I grew up coming to the island, staying in a house a block away from this house - where my kids have been coming since they were born. I have friends in many other Fire Island communities, and feel strongly that we have found the best spot - close to stores, restaurants and nature walks, but also quiet, uncrowded and unique in many ways. The friends I grew up with moved to California and Boston, but still come out every summer with their kids and stay at their families' houses - all within a few blocks of each other. Some of our guests have been renting from us since their kids were babies, and keep coming back, joined by their now grown-up kids.

The house is a simple Fire Island bungalow design that has been lovingly updated with modern amenities. We meticulously maintain the property, along with the property manager and cleaning contractor, who has been working with us for over 25 years.
