Would highly recommend staying here. Very cute, well equipped apartment, There is a very active square directly outside apartment. All four of us loved sitting in the square watching/meeting people and the peacocks. And yes it was quiet at night. Location was great and hosts wonderful. We would certainly stay there again.

The flat is ideally located adjacent to the Castelo, close to tram lines and serviced by taxis. Mario is very prompt and complete in his communication, and Rui actually helped us get installed in the apartment. It’s breezy with the windows open, and the AC is great when the heat rises. We had a great time.

When I travel, I’m looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and well located apartment. This checked all the boxes, and like the listing said, I spent several evenings by the balcony, drink in hand, Fado playing on Spotify and the Castle at my feet! Our host was also very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. We got our exercise walking up and down the hill which was needed with all the great food we ate.
Always knew where to head for home!

Good location and a very well equipped apartment, no noise from the people milling around the castle below if you keep windows closed.If you are travelling in peak summer the apartment does get hot and the air conditioning unit needs the additional fans and windows open to cool the apartment down effectively.There are close by shops and supermarkets, you need to be physically able to get up the hills and stairs of the apartment. The hosts are really helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was convenient to public transport. The flat is located up a steep hill but taxis (not Bolt or Uber) are allowed making it easy when luggage is involved. Our host and his employee were very responsive to a couple issues that were quickly resolved. Additionally we got help to arrange for a taxi to the airport when communication with the taxi company became an issue. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved the location. Bustling during the day, but then quiets down around dinner time. Enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. The host was very responsive and flexible in helping us. Very friendly. Would definitely come back in the future.

Couldn’t get the air to work the first couple of nights - probably user error. We got it on the last night which helped to get our clothes dry. Place was a good location, just didn’t give 5 stars because the beds weren’t all that comfortable and there were so many peacocks crying late into the night. Definitely were not unhappy - had a great time in Lisbon!

Location was good but be aware it is near the top of the area ( have to go back uphill at the end of a day) and that you are right outside the castle which means noisy line ups all day and stores below open until 11:00pm

Beautiful area, well supplied and clean. Furnishings need updating: beds were not the most comfortable, but were sleepable; shower fixture was a little low and mount was broken.

Beautiful spot with great amenities right in the heart of all the action. Busy during th day but very quiet at night. Steep steps to get in. Check in very easy. Everything you need within easy walking distance. Castle right beside you! Beautiful views. Bit of a walk after taxi/uber drop off but not very hard. Hosts very responsive and accommodating!

Great location!

Situated right beside Castle St. Jorge is perfect location in the Alfama district. Clean, bright and spacious enough for 4 people. Great communication with our host, Mario. Surprisingly quiet given the foot traffic through the streets. Very comfortable stay.
