Détendez-vous et profitez d'une maison de ranch magnifiquement meublée, spacieuse et propre dans un quartier très calme! Tous les invités et groupes sont les bienvenus! Les lits sont confortables, les salles de bain ont beaucoup de serviettes et de draps supplémentaires, l'arrière-cour est spacieuse avec une grande terrasse et un grill, et la cuisine est entièrement équipée avec vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine.

Great home!

Our family had a great time staying in this home. It fit our whole family perfectly and was very clean and nice. Communication was great - an overall very nice experience.

House was great! Plenty of room with a beautiful kitchen. The deck was spacious with plenty of chairs but it could use a little TLC.

We made a good choice!

This is a roomy, well-stocked home. It had everything we needed, and the host was available to answer any questions within a few minutes. Most importantly, the beds and baths were exceptionally clean.

Worked very well for us. House was stocked with any toiletry or kitchen item we would have needed.

Washer, dryer, oven, and dishwasher all worked well. House was clean. 4 bedrooms each with a queen bed. We all fit well.

Perfect home away from home

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time in this home! We spent most of our time on the large deck and loved the fire pit just because it was so pleasant. Late evenings we spent playing board games in the very comfortable living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to make the few meals we wanted to make. Location was so easy to get to hiking, kayaking, and the Burpee museum is great! We all appreciated the cleanliness, the comfort, and the hosts little extra touches and treats to welcome us to their home. Host was very responsive before and during our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Sam!

Nice House in Convenient Location

We like to have a home base when traveling with my daughter and this house was within a 2 hour drive of LOTS of great places. (There are also great closer attractions like the FLW Laurent House and big Sock Monkeys for those not looking to venture as far!) Clearly the owner's know what it's like to travel and stay in rental houses. There were plenty of suitcase racks, night lights, toilet paper, snacks, coffee, etc. Linda the next door neighbor is the caretaker and she was helpful and wonderful!! Thanks for sharing your house Sam!

We had a wonderful stay at our rental house, even though it was a 25-30 minute drive to our relatives houses in Rockford. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with kitchen supplies. The owner responded quickly to texts I sent him.

Comfortable and fantastic house!

Sam was really patient and understanding with a lot of my questions. We had never stayed at an bnb and we were not sure what to expect. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed all the amenities of the house and was very comfortable while staying there. We highly recommend staying here! I cannot recommend it enough. Excellent house, convenient location and wonderful amenities for all. We look forward to coming back and staying here when we visit again. Thank you again, Sam and family.

A Great Place

The title says it all. Very pleasant , host was very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the use of the garage. Rained every day on and off,but still was able to visit our relatives and enjoy the countryside.

Relaxing and Comfortable

The property was perfect for our family. Spacious, relaxing, comfortable, accommodating more than we expected, and items in the downstairs area that were entertaining for children. Very nice home

Enjoyable stay, except for the tornado that came thru. The garage door was damaged, power was out and and a tree fell in the back yard. The host was amazing during that time, offering to bring a portable generator if the power was out for an extended time. Would definitely recommend.

Family thanksgiving

My family was gathering to have thanksgiving with relatives in Rockford. This house had plenty of room for my spouse and me , along with our adult children. Lots of great amenities, we especially enjoyed the pool table in the basement!

Safe family get together

This was my first experience with VRBO. I know people who have done it with mixed reviews. I wanted a safe place for me, my daughters and grandchildren to be able to spend time together. Since we live in different states, and because of the Corona Virus, we decided to meet half way and be as safe as possible. It was a wonderful experience, the house was extremely comfortable and the communication with the owner couldn't be better. I will definitely do this again. We all had such a great time!

I grew up all over the world, and my wife and I still travel on occasion. A new person to meet at a new place to visit is always a pleasure.

I am an architect and investor, with woodworking and specialty coffee as my skilled hobbies. The only thing better than the eclectic and exciting things I do and people I know, is my gorgeous and fun-filled wife Christen. Some of our favorite activities involve traveling to different rentals ourselves as we visit our family members around the world.

We bring what we look for when we travel, to our spaces: those small things like good coffees and teas, simple good design and cleanliness, a responsive host and the freedom of self check-in.

As an architect and host, the "why" is a pursuit and love of that which sustains your living and ours.
