Panoramic Water Views/Pet Friendly

Enjoy a spectacular sunrise and panoramic Hales Passage water views from this recently remodeled 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Pet Friendly home. The living area is open space and a view from all the rooms. Sit by the warm fireplace on one side of the living room or relax on the couch and watch TV from the other section of the room, The kitchen has lots of space for a cook or two and there is ample counter space to prepare that gourmet meal. You will find everything that you need in the way of appliances plus all the everyday kitchen necessities. The 2 bedrooms each have a Queen size bed and sitting area. There is an additional Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room. The bathroom has a large shower and double sinks. The laundry room has washer/dryer/freezer and closet. The large deck has an unobstructed water view plus propane BBQ, dining table and chairs and ample outdoor seating. Lummi Island has several walking trails and the hiking trail is within walking distance. Access to the beach is a short drive. Two pets maximum are permitted. They are not permitted on the furniture and beds. If you leave a pet alone in the home they must be crated. Please use a leash when you are walking your pet and you must pick up all "doggy waste". 2nd visit

This was our second visit to the rental and it was as amazing as the first visit. It is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. This is not just a rental, this is a home away from home. It has everything you could want and more. The views are amazing from the deck. We will definitely come back again!

Tranquil and peaceful. A true change of pace for these city Texans. Breathtaking g views, friendly people - comfortable cottage! My mind will take me back to the porch when I need to escape the hustle and heat!

Peace and tranquility are what the island is noted for. One can take the long or short walks while viewing the water. If you are more "hardy" then the hike up to the top on the trail is well worth doing as the view is spectacular. If rest and relaxation are what you came for, then you came to the right spot.

This place was so relaxing and had such beautiful views. This is by far the cleanest place in have stayed at. The reason for 4 stars was no beach access anywhere on the island. We had a great time overall!

Amazing view!

We so enjoyed are stay on Lummi Island. My husband enjoyed his first ferry ride! This is not just a rental this is a home. Wonderful views, very relaxing and the home has everything you could possibly need for your trip. We will definitely be coming back and will stay longer!

This home is the best we have ever stayed at. Everything advertised and more. It was so relaxing with spectacular views. Immaculate inside and out. Virginia has decorated it so beautifully. Beds were so comfortable. We will definitely return again.

Most relaxing gateway!

This stunning property is the best place to relax. The deck with its amazing outlook, the completely new furnished house far away from your every day stress slows you down immediately. The property manager was responsive and super helpful. We had a wonderful weekend on this little island and will be back for sure.

Liked it so much we came back

The home Lummi is perfect for a quiet place to get away from it all. We stayed there for a second time because the home and the views can't be beat. Our one challenge we encountered were an abundance of Yellow jackets which can't be blamed on the owner or host but it was a challenge to use the wonderful deck.

Relaxing Trip!

Such a beautiful house! Our weather was perfect. Everything was clean and very tastefully decorated. The big beautiful deck was just perfect for reading a good book, while admiring the gorgeous view. Great view

We loved everything about this stay. Our only complaint was that the fireplace was broken and we weren’t able to use it as an additional heat source. House felt a bit chilly without it.

Most refreshing vacation.

Virginia has a lovely home with everything high quality from the beautiful teak furniture to the sharp Henckel knives. She had expensive soaps and creams included a long with basic condiments in the kitchen. We spent most of our time on the gorgeous deck even when the weather was overcast. Thank you Virginia for everything. We want to come again.

Making the home a place that guests want to return to is of primary importance. The owner thinks of what they would like in a vacation home, and uses that thinking to incorporate those items into the home. Making guests happy and comfortable is what we want to accomplish.

Fantastic house and location

Home is completely remodeled and very comfortable. The home has a great master bath with large walk in shower and is equipped with top appliances & everything you need in the kitchen. The new deck overlooking the water was where we spent most of our time watching boats and marine life. Nice BBQ off back deck to grill up oysters from Taylor Farms. This is a peaceful get away from life in the city.

Lummi Island great getaway

We loved this home for several reasons: beautiful deep and wide deck with fabulous water view, lots of comfortable outside seating, very comfortable open living area, and cozy pellet stove for the l rainy evenings. The furnishings were very nice – I think newly remodeled - and plenty of space to sit out or inside together or alone. There is also a 1.6 mile hiking trail about .25 down the road – a bit of a climb but again, lovely. I would consider who in your party is either tall or a little more “robust” in size, as the shower is quite small – like an RV shower - which was the only drawback to a lovely property. Otherwise there is a jetted tub as well.

Thanksgiving 2021 stay

The view was spectacular! The house was so comfortable and well stocked, and the quality of the linens was amazing! Kitchen had all we needed. The most impressive thing was the support of the owner and property manager. There was an island-wide power outage on Thanksgiving morning. They were quick to answer our call and questions. The owner talked us through how to start the generator with precise instructions. It turned out that we couldn't get it started anyway but we were confident in his instructions. He later called and said he would come over after his family meal to try to start it - and he doesn't live on island. The property manager Virginia was beyond amazing. She put up with many calls from us during the day when she was also preparing for her family feast. When the power was still out in the early evening and no promise of it returning soon she welcomed us to join her family for Thanksgiving! I was so touched by her generosity and kindness to us as strangers. Her warmth during our conversation let me know it would be enjoyable to get acquainted, so we decided to go. Just before we got to her house though another power line was down and they closed the road so we couldn't go in the end. In the end we declined the owner's offer to come over to help with the generator and enjoyed a lovely meal by candlelight cooked on the grill. It was a memorable trip and I felt very thankful for their kindness and the beauty of the place.

Great Escape!

Clean...comfortable...well supplied...wonderful deck and VIEWS! Our family had a lovely, quiet (well, except for when our 2 girls got a little carried away) and RELAXING time. It was a real escape for us and just what we were looking for!

Beautiful view!

This home served as an office for a few days and then a place for relaxation with family over the weekend. It was warmer than normal so the neighbor stopped by to see if I needed a couple of fans. The internet was very reliable. Working from "home" was seamless. We ate every meal outside on the deck, the kitchen and outdoor grill were great! I would love to visit again!

Great stay - amazing views, clean property, responsive host.

Virginia’s place was the perfect place to relax for a few days. The host was responsive and has thought of everything. The rooms are clean and spacious and beds super comfy. There were plenty of room to sit, cook, eat inside the house, but we spent as much time as we could sitting on the amazing deck enjoying the beautiful view. A 5-star experience!
