Patty was an EXCELLENT Host!!!!! She was so kind and Very easy to work with. The home was BEAUTIFULLY decorated for the Holiday’s and Very Comfy! We are looking forward to staying here again.

Great weekend

House was excellent and in a great location. Kids loved the bunk rooms and we made use of the fire pit both nights we stayed. The only negative is that the house is located on a pretty busy street and the bait shop sign was lit all night and shined pretty bright into the backyard. I do highly recommed the property, especially if your looking for a place with great boat trailer parking for fishing trips...especially with the catawba launch 5 min down the road. We didnt bring the boat this time, but i will be sure to keep it in mind for my next fishing trip.

Everything you need and more!

This place was above our expectations! The house was fully stocked, air conditioning cold and perfect for summer! Perfect for corn hole, fire, lots of places to sleep!! It had everything!! Host was extremely nice and delt with our little hiccup! Was so nice walking to get minnows and ice every morning!! We will be coming back every year!

Exceeded expectations.

This house was VERY well stocked. I’ve rented many homes and I think this kitchen was the best equipped. There were no surprises. Communication with the host was excellent. I would stay here again in a second!!!!!!

Cute and it’s a nice location

Just need to mention all of us who stayed said the photos don’t give this property justice. It’s bigger than photos show. The bunk beds are a nice size and two ladies could fit on one bed. Most preferred to not take the top bunk lol. I received a cute welcome bag, travel size shampoo , conditioner and body soap given. Lots of towels and they had choices of ground coffee or k cup coffee. Let’s not forget the neighbor and bait shop people were so fun and kind! We loved this location!!! I will definitely keep this home in my favorites to book again. I already asked the ladies when we could go back and we just left this morning!

Lakeside Home Base

This property hits it “outta the park” with great location, being well-stocked, and spacious. More than enough rooms for kids and multiple families looking to take advantage of what our Lake Erie shores has to offer. Thanks Patty!

Not just for fishermen!

Our family of 5 was in the area for a wedding and we spent two nights at the Catawba Fish House. It was a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated that there was plenty of parking out front and a lovely, well-maintained sitting area out back. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with, both before and during our stay.

3rd stay.. just as great!

4 night stay for a May walleye trip, our 3rd stay here in as many years. I can honestly say that Patty has thought of everything for this house, perfect for a fishing trip and imagine it would be awesome for a family islands excursion as well. Well equipped kitchen, great common spaces (inside and out), comfy beds and excellent amenities! Only wish we could stay longer!

Stayed for a P.I.B / Oastoberfest at Twin Oasts weekend. Location perfect! Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Hosts was super with communication and even left us a welcome gift bag! Wish everyone handled their rentals this way! Thanks!!!!!

Birthday at the Catawba Fish House

We decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a trip to the islands in Lake Erie, neither one of us had ever been to the area so we decided to stay on Catawba fish house for us and about five of our friends. The house was very spacious for everyone clean and very well organized and label to find everything. What a nice homebase for an island adventure. Would highly recommend for a relaxing trip or a fishing trip. Very well suited for both. Look forward to visiting again.

Very comfortable, great space, kids room a hit!

This home was perfect for our family reunion. My cousin lives nearby and our actual reunion was at her house but we needed space for my family and my sisters’ families to stay. Family room and dining areas were spacious and comfortable. Everything well appointed, every detail included to make our stay perfect. The bunk room was a standout- 4 built in full size bunks with a light and plugs for each bed, a little niche in each to put their phones and small items, plenty of storage. Even little fans that could be used at each bunk! We would stay here again and my cousin was so impressed she took the card so she could recommend it when she had others come to stay!

Guys fishing trip

Great place to stay! House was ready before check-in time, and we were able to get the use of the entire day. House was very clean, and all of the essentials were there for us to use. Would defiantly book again.
