This property was great for me and my friends to stay at! It had great views of the lake and was conveniently located to everything fun New Braunsfels has to offer! The house was very clean and spacious allowing everyone to be comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and answered every single question I had! I would highly recommend staying here for your next big trip or family vacation!

Great Vacay Place

We had a great overall experience. The property was clean, updated and has great amenities. The house was very comfortable. The back patio, pool and deck were so nice.

Great location! Close to lots of things so we were never bored.We really enjoyed the backyard. The kids fished and used the pool. We did not swim in the lake, but I think we could have.Check in and out were easy, no complications. We would definitely rent it again.

Large Family Stay

This property was better than we hoped it would be! It accommodated our family of 16 people and had a wonderful spot on the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make some homemade meals, including new appliances. Location was great and made for a wonderful stay for our family.

Graduation 2023

Our family had a great time for our daughters college graduation. Plenty of room, plenty of kitchen supplies, plenty of outdoor space. Overall wonderful place. We would absolutely stay there again!

Wedding stay

The house was great for our stay. We loved getting up in the morning and looking out at the river from the back porch. The evenings were so peaceful. We would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and river. We had 9 people with us so we had plenty of room.

Memorial Family Weekend

House and location… Amazing!! Rented a boat and a captain that picked us up right from the dock in the back yard!! Packed drinks and snacks had a wonderful time!! Went shopping in Gruene had a wonderful lunch and homemade Sangria at the world famous historic Gruene Hall!!! Wonderful Memorial Weekend!

Nice Weekend!

The house is very nice and spacious. We had a large group of friends and family coming from all over Texas and the hosts were very accommodating to our needs/requests such as allowing adjustments to our check in/check out times as well as an additional unexpected pet that had to come along. The only improvements I would suggest to help future guests is more accessible outlets in the casita and lighting for the steps going down to the dock. Enjoyed our stay!

Groomsmen Loved It!

Needed a place for our sons’ Groomsmen that would provide space, provide activities (all outdoorsy type) and location (Rehearsal Dinner in New Braunfels, Wedding in San Marcos) and this property checked all the boxes! Waterfront (they caught several fish off the dock) with super dock, pool, chill area outside including standing fire pit, plenty of space for “corn hole”. Everyone had the room needed inside the house and were well pleased staying there . . . Great place!

Family Trip

House was just as described. The converted garage was perfect for the older kids to stay. Home location is great - out of the crowds, but still just 15 - 20 minutes to anything you may want to do. Their maintenance man was very helpful.

It was a great fit for our 17 family reunion. Location on Lake Dunlap was perfect.

We had a family reunion of 19 but some were come and go. But the location was convenient to Austin airport. It was super busy in town but we never knew it due to quiet location. Nice outdoor area which was used by all. Lots of room to visit and catch up. Used Paddle Tx for paddle boards and kayaks. Best equipment and a pleasure doing business with Stacy!!!

Perfect for family gathering

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was perfect for our family get together. Our group ranged in age from 2 years to 80 and it worked for everyone. Very comfortable and home like. Easy check in/out and host was very responsive. They even were able to accommodate a last minute request for a pack & play. The outside sitting area in the back was peaceful and a great place for morning coffee and just hanging out. Plenty of plates, glasses, cookware etc. Very clean, and not a huge chore list at check out. Loved it!

Overall great stay

The house was way smaller than we expected but we had a great time. The lake was great and the house was ok. My kids enjoyed the casita. The house didn’t get cool in the heat of the day- average temp inside was 84. The refrigerator didn’t cool well. The pool is small but it was fine. The tree rope swing was fun and the outside was beautiful especially at sunset. We had 14 ppl and just fit. Overall great stay even with the poor functionality of the AC and frig.

September Birthday weekend

Plenty of room for everyone. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The dishes/coffee maker could have used some attention before our stay. No can opener available/found. Coffee maker had old coffee filter/grounds in it. Some of the dishes were not very clean. Some light bulbs needed to be replaced in the back bathroom. No remote for the TV in the back right bedroom. These are all things we could overlook since we enjoyed our stay.

Bad on so many levels

TV's did not work and when we called the host she said she would come out the next day and never showed up. A/C couldn't bring house below 80 during the day Pool was dirty Refrigerator had glass shelf missing One eye on the stove didn't work Dryer did not dry towels after 3 cycles Deck to river had no safety and our dog fell 10' down Front bedroom had dirty sheets - GROSS!!! Oh yea, and cockroaches - UGGH!!! Need I say more? I only hope the owner uses our very expensive fee to stay there to FIX all of the above so no one else experiences what we did.
