J'ai rĂ©cemment achetĂ© cette maison et elle vous offre une sensation de type chalet de luxe fabuleux. DĂšs l'instant oĂč vous entrez dans la maison, vous ĂȘtes attirĂ© vers l'extĂ©rieur par les grandes fenĂȘtres et le plafond Ă  poutres voĂ»tĂ©es. Toutes les chambres sont trĂšs spacieuses offrant la retraite tant recherchĂ©e de nos hĂŽtes. Le salon est immense avec un poĂȘle Ă  bois, une tĂ©lĂ©vision, des livres, un grand coin salon - l'endroit idĂ©al pour tout groupe de se rĂ©unir. La salle Ă  manger est juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la cuisine et a une porte coulissante menant Ă  une cour arriĂšre plate privĂ©e avec terrasse. Tout est neuf ... tous les meubles, lits, etc .... C'est un endroit parfait pour se dĂ©tendre et avoir l'impression de s'Ă©loigner de tout.

This place is very roomy and set wonderfully amongst trees, however, you don't feel isolated as other houses are around but they certainly aren't crowded next to each other. You get the sense that you're out in the wood but close to civilization. Wonderful visit.

Your new favorite getaway

A wonderful place to stay. This was our second stay at Trish’s Nevada City retreat and it was heavenly. The home is so comfortable and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the wood stove on these chily nights. The location is far enough from town for peace and quiet and feeling like you’re in the woods, yet close enough to access everything you’ll need. Looking forward to returning.

Great Family Getaway

Great location with opportunities to hike and explore nearby. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Lots of space to spread out and the beds are very comfortable. The host kind enough to allow us to stay late on our final day since she didn’t have another guest coming that day.

The perfect getaway

We had the most wonderful stay at Trish’s home. The house was beyond our expectations. Everything was clean and exceptionally comfortable, especially the beds. We didn’t do any real cooking but the kitchen seems well equipped with everything that one would need. The location, while a bit outside of town, meant that we had a beautifully snowy landscape to enjoy while we were there. Trish was very communicative and check in was a breeze. We left very reluctantly and can’t wait to return for another stay.

Perfect Family Get-Away

Very nicely-appointed property. It was perfect for grandparents, adult children, and new grandchild. Each bedroom was large and comfortable, and the open floorplan created a light-filled great room with seating options. The outdoor grill and seating area provided a nice outdoor room for dining.

In the Pines

We had a good stay here, the rooms are such a good size for staying with children. Enough room for pack and play in each room. The home is located last on a small lane, felt private and relaxing. Home is well stocked with all you would need for a great stay.

Vacation

This cabin is a beautiful home and has a huge yard. We had a lot of snow, so the young children could safely play outside. The driveway had just enough incline to make a toboggan run. The owner was very responsive to all questions and arranged to have the driveway plowed so that we could get out at the end of our stay. This is a beautiful, warm, and well-stocked home and kitchen, offering privacy from neighbors due to the trees. I would consider staying here again.

A fabulous experience

When we arrived at Trish's house after a long drive we immediately relaxed, settled in and began to enjoy a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, well designed for privacy, beautifully appointed, has more than enough storage space, and in general is just a great place to spend a vacation. Even though there are houses nearby we had a sense of complete privacy and quiet. Early mornings we'd sit on the back deck with our coffee and evenings we'd sit with our wine. We used one of the bedrooms as an office because we had work to do, and never had a wifi problem. Being swimmers, we really appreciated being within a 10-minute drive of Scotts Flat Reservoir. We were also within a 5 minute drive of a system of trails that were delightful in the mornings. Importantly, the few times we needed something or had questions Trish responded graciously and immediately. It was a pleasure to meet her and we are already thinking about a return visit. As an aside: personally we found it quite easy to respect the Covid-19 guidelines while staying there. The people at a nearby grocery store are conscientious about the number of people in the store at a time and the outdoor activities make social distancing easy.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property has such a great peaceful feel to it. It's large and spacious and sits on a little over an acre of property. It's private and quiet. It's only 3 miles to Nevada City and 5 miles to Grass Valley. It feels so far out in the woods, yet it's so close to town.
We do have a little artist studio next door that is currently not being rented at this time.

This home features knotty pine walls, large spacious room and large windows to view the outdoors. It has a large front deck and a large back deck with lots of seating. It also features a large fenced in yard.
