Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish updated space. Direct access to popular Hiking and Biking trails from the backyard. Located right between Historic Downtown Nevada City, and Lake recreation. Only a couple miles up to Scotts Flat lake for boating, swimming, kayaking, and fishing, and only a couple miles down to Nevada City and Grass Valley. Fully equipped for couples and family's to stay for days on end. Pet friendly with a mid-sized doggie door access to large completely fenced yard.

Property was as described and clean. Location was great, easy to access, and host was awesome. The only issue if I had to pick was the flickering lights. My wife and I loved the place and definitely will stay again. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to getaway.

Great property with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Very close to both Nevada City & Grass Valley. We came for the Christmas festivities and were not disappointed. Great little hiking trail at the back of the property and backyard was fully fenced & very dog friendly.the host, Robert, was very responsive and answered all our questions in a short time. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a quiet retreat.

Wonderful mountain home with the views to match! This 2 bedroom home had everything we needed. Full kitchen, living room/TV room, close to hiking trails, Nevada City, restaurants and Sierra foothill trails and mountain overviews. Would definitely look forward to staying again when in the area!

Owner was wonderful! Location is perfect so close to town. Home beautifully decorated very comfortable . Had a wonderful time with our family in this beautiful home. Definitely would stay there again!

This was a great cabin! Very picturesque surroundings, peaceful, and close to downtown Nevada City. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and updated. We loved dining at Lola in town.

This spacious and well-appointed cabin was the perfect home base for our yearly Yuba getaway for three! The home had everything we needed, included a fully stocked kitchen. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and my dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard as well.

The cabin is charming and very clean. We were very comfortable there. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed the beautiful front porch. Little traffic so walking our dog was easy plus there is a nice canal trail behind the house

Cabin in Nevada City

The cabin was clean, convenient to town and fairly quiet. There is a walking trail behind the property. There is a nice porch to sit outside with rocking chairs.It was fully equipped with utensils, tea, coffee maker and snacks. The TV only had basic channels. There were no closets in the bedrooms. The yard is too overgrown to sit but there is a nice small bbq to grill. Overall, it was excellent and we enjoyed our 10 day stay very very much.

Great host

While I had this cabin booked for me and my dogs, one got sick and I wasn’t able to make the trip. Robert was extremely understanding and had great communication. He offered to refund the cleaning and dog deposit along with a free night when I rebook. Omgosh I was blown away, what a host! I will be rebooking this property in the near future.

Perfect mountain stay

My family came up for a wedding and found this great location! The property is clean and well kept. Inside, everything was clean and we had all that we needed. The view from the front porch is fantastic! I would stay here again!

This fully renovated cabin in the woods makes for a wonderful vacation spot. Only a couple of miles to town. Everything you need is here to enjoy a peaceful quiet time.

Just Right

Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!

Forest Getaway!

This is a comfortable, well-appointed cabin in a beautiful, forested area. The kitchen, bathrooms and flooring have all been nicely updated. A private location with no neighbors in sight. We loved our time here!

Serene and clean and close to town

Thank you, we enjoyed our weekend stay in the cabin. It was exactly as posted. A newer cozy cabin that was clean and in a nice and quiet location with a short drive to town. I’d recommend it to friends and would stay there again.

This house was great for our stay. The finishes were completely updated. Its in the trees which we loved. The living room was a little small for the 4 of us to watch a movie, but we made it work.

A short stay

The property was clean and the grounds are nice. However the house stayed pretty cold. They could not get it up to a comfortable temperature. it was cold outdoors, and the house would not heat up much. Our son, who lived in Nevada City for a long time said the house needs more than jus the two small units for the winter months.
