Peaceful

Perfect quick getaway with my husband. Cottage was just as described. Check in and check out were simple and communicated well in advance. Will definitely be renting another property from Tom in the future!

Lovely cottage

We loved our stay here. Very close to beach and walking distance to many great restaurants. Such a quaint town and we loved the historic cottages all around! Would definitely stay here again

Perfect Bungalow

We absolutely loved this little place. If you are looking for the old Florida vibe this is your place. All the neighbors were so friendly. But the location! You can’t beat it! Right on the Gulf of America!! It’s a sand on the floor salt on your skin kind of a place and we loved it!

Wonderful Beach Property

The location is amazing. It's on the beach and the area/neighborhood is not overly crowded by tourists and high rises. Restaurant are all within walking distance,. The fridge is pretty small if you plan on bringing food and making meals, otherwise its a perfect cottage for a beach getaway.

Beach getaway

My sister and I really enjoyed our time at the beach house. We were looking to get away for a long weekend and this was perfect. We loved the neighborhood and everything we needed was in walking distance. It was really amazing how the beach was simply a few feet away! The owner was very accessable and very communicative. Highly recommend!

Historic Cottage Steps from the Beach

Tom was a fantastic host. There was no frying pan in the kitchen and when I texted him he immediately replied and said for us to go buy one. I sent him a picture of the receipt and he promptly Venmo’d the money to me. The top bunk was actually comfortable enough for an adult and had easy access stairs to it. It was a great, relaxing stay!

Clean and near the ocean

Cute little cottage, very clean, small. Great for 2 people. I don’t cook on vacation, but had everything needed. Staples I do appreciate we’re provided—Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels, both kinds of coffee pots. Tom and Nicole were nice. Had an issue withTV, turned out to be our ineptness, but Nicole came right over, and she had the TV guy there the next day. Really close to beach, about 30 yards. Only issue—the main bed was sooo soft, you rolled into a hole and stayed there. Really enjoyed our time.

Location, Location, Location - Not Much More

Due to travel issues, we arrived very early into the next morning of our initial scheduled arrival. We were greeted by trying to figure out how to open the door due to the 6 coats of paint causing it to stick and only after giving it a hip did we get in. Once inside, we were treated to a mildew smell that was hard to ignore and never went away which told me the AC coils and registers have never been cleaned recently. We finally put our heads down at 3AM on crinkled sheets that look like the last group just left and only bothered to place the comforter over the top of the bed. We shower the next AM to find that the thin metal shower drain is attached by an adhesive that came loose which caused my wife to scratch her foot. While we were willing to deal with these issues for our short stay, we kept coming back to the realization that these items along with others show little pride in ownership. It is solely used to shuttle people in and out and lacks the attention to detail I would expect to have for such a prime asset. Case in point is the 3ft palm tree growing out of the siding on the front patio. Obviously, no one is paying attention to this. we can’t complain about the location and the neat town of Indian Rocks which deserve the 3 stars. We are taking 1 star off due to the general condition of certain items and 1 star off due the what we consider lax attitude of ownership. We will be back to IRB. We won’t rent this unit again, however. tocauscratchattacked by a

Adorable

We stayed here for a few days (husband and I, in-laws) in October. The cottage is just a cute as described and in a neat little area. It was clean and had everything you would need. The only negative(?) feedback I can say is that the shower is tiny. I mean…TINY. A larger/taller person would find it very difficult to use. The beach is gorgeous and people all around us were very friendly. There was plenty to do within walking distance or the trolley service was nice too. Would recommend!

Perfect getaway for a couple or small family.

This property was better than advertised. It felt secluded and peaceful in the middle of Indian Rocks. It's literally steps off the beach. The house is updated and cozy and everything we needed was supplied right down to extra beach towels. Tom is a friendly, responsive host and answered all my texts or phone calls within minutes. I would give the house, location and host extra stars if I could. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.

The location was like none other!

Private yet steps to the beach. Cottage was clean and quaint. Felt like old Florida… The area has plenty to do within a reasonable distance. I hope to visit again!

We Fell in love with Indian Rock Beach!

What a great find. This place is the cleanest, cutest cottage by the sea. Even comes with friendly neighbors. Steps from the beach and a nature trail. Great area with shops and choice restaurants. But the place itself was really perfect. A great time was had and we hope to come back. We love IRB!

This was our first time staying in IRB and we loved it! The homeowner of cottage #4 was very responsive and sent us a link to the check in process along with information about the area. Check in was easy. The cottage is literally steps away from the beach. It is small and cozy but clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. There were beach chairs and umbrellas available to borrow. We spent all day on the beach and walked to dinner in the evenings. I would most definitely rent this place again.

Awesome!

This was our most relaxing trip yet. The cottage was perfect. So close to the beach and many great restaurants. Tom was the best host answering any questions we had. Definitely splurge on the dolphin cruise. It was the highlight of the trip! Tom was the best captain and took up to all the best places! We all had such a great time. Can't wait to come back.
