Ce magnifique condo bien aménagé au 2e étage vous transporte immédiatement avec son sens aigu de la lumière, de l'air, du calme et de la facilité. Il y a une chambre avec un roi. À l'extérieur de la chambre, il y a un ensemble personnalisé merveilleusement intégré de lits superposés intégrés. Great location close to the beach

Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The balcony was shaded all day as it faced South-which was nice for relaxing. The unit was clean and came with the necessities.

Great location!

This was a really great location. Very nice condo. Short walk to the beach. One thing to be aware of is even though beach access was public, the areas to the left and right are “private”. You have to walk to the left of the access about 20 yards or so to be in the public area. I would stay here again if I needed to.

Our kids are 9 and 11. They loved the bunk beds! The place was very nice. I would recommend adding curtains in the bedroom though-it was pretty bright in there in the mornings even with the blinds closed. Very short walk to the beach which was doable considering all the stuff we hauled there and back every day. We would love to come back!

Just what we need

If you are looking for a place with a great location, this is your spot. Located at walking distance from a nice beach and close to so many restaurants, shops and other beaches! The place is not new, but is well maintained, it has everything you need, from paper towel to all kinds of appliances and plenty of glasses and silverware, maybe more than you need. Don't go looking for high end finishes and/or a luxury apartment, because it is not, but it is charming and very nice. The surrounding area is very family friendly, quiet and very nice. I highly recommend it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was absolutely wonderful. The condo was beautiful and the decor was amazing. Every detail was planned perfectly and we really loved that about this particular unit. The absolute ONLY thing that we had issues with is the keypad. We had to call at least three times because some numbers did not work. It was a hassle, but benchmark tried several times to help. The maintenance guy was there to help as well. We have never had this issue at any of the other units we have stayed in there. I would highly suggest a new pad for future use.

Cute beach condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a cute condo! It was close to the beach and within walking distance to a lot of shops and food. The mattress could stand to be replaced, it left my husband and I both with hurting backs every morning. The unit was surface clean, however it could use a deep clean. When pulling the sheets off on the last day, I was disgusted to see how nasty one of the for were. Only having 1 towel per person and not having a washer and dryer was a pain. Yes, there is a laundry mat on site but they do not exchange dollars for quarters. Be prepared. Overall we had a good stay, the unit just needs a little TLC.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular unit is tired and in need of a deep clean and refresh. The kitchen was especially dirty; inside the cabinets was quite gross. Rugs were very dirty and in need of a washing. The photo makes the unit appear much cleaner and brighter than it is in real life. It is darker and dingier inside. The drawers were broken in kitchen, screen door was unfunctional on porch. The bed was comfy. We liked the little "supply" boxes with soaps and such. The pool was quiet but very tired looking. Location to the beach access was nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I tried emailing Benchmark during our stay to let them know how dirty our condo was but didn’t get a response. As soon as we got there, our feet turned black from how dirty the floors were. They clearly had no been mopped. Then the rug in the bathroom was also brown and black and filthy. I sent pictures of this in my email. When we opened the dishwasher, there were disgustingly old onions and other food in the bottom with an awful smell. We had to clean the filter in the dishwasher also. At the very least, I expected our condo to be clean when we arrived and also would like a response to my email. Won’t be staying here again.

Beachwood Villas 8D

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time at Beachwood Villas. The location was great, it’s very nice to be close to a convenient store. The condo was clean, but I did do a little bit extra cleaning when I got there surfaces were smudged and light fixtures. We’re a bit dusty, but other than that everything was exceptionally clean. We discovered the icemaker in our refrigerator/freezer was not working. We called Repair and they did send out a technician to look at it, he attempted to fix it but unfortunately it did not work. Midway through our stay we also had a problem with our shower, the tub filler broke. Again we had to call management and they sent out a technician. They fixed it the next day. The AC was ice cold which made it very enjoyable. The complex was very quiet and the people were very nice. The pool was quite large, I wish it had been cooler, our weather was extremely hot and the pools all felt like hot tubs. The laundromat was nice, I used it a few times . Overall, we had a great experience. Beachwood Villas is a very nice location. Walking to restaurants and shopping is very doable. We rented bikes, so it made it a little bit easier to go even further. All communications between the management company were excellent. They answer the phone when we called, and the messages and information they sent to us was all accurate and timely.

Mixed Experience at 8D: A Few Shortcomings at Great Location

Reviewer Comments: Over the years, we have had consistently positive experiences with Benchmark, characterized by excellent communication, generous gear vouchers, and great value for our money. However, our recent stay at this particular condo left us somewhat disappointed. While there were certainly some positive aspects, the overall condition of the unit was dated, and it lacked a general sense of comfort. It felt more like a hastily turned-over cheap apartment rather than a well-maintained rental.PROS: The bathroom is clean and refreshed. Ample towels and linens were provided.A great value for the location. CONS: Upon arrival, the internet did not work. On our last day we noticed the router was not fully plugged in. The floor was sticky on arrival The entry door is rusty The sliding glass door is very dated and difficult to open Furniture is near the end of life. The living room Fan is nice but noisy Paint is worn on many surfaces No sharp knives The grills in the patio area are pretty much done Folks love to party at this condo, there is normally a party each night! Will rent again from Benchmark, but we will need to be a little more picky. No reviews mentioned anything that we experienced, so we want to share.

Beachwood Villas 8D

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this Villa from 7/13 - 7/23. It was a fantastic experience. The location was better than we thought with a VERY quick walk to the beach. The unit was very clean and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the balcony had lovely tradewinds every evening. Only one pool was open when we were there. It was fine. The onsite laundry was ok. It cost either $2 or $2.50 per load, so bring your quarters. We didn't have any issues at all with the unit and therefore had no reason to have to contact the management. I would stay there again. Admittedly the only challenge is not having in house laundry. I missed having a dryer in order to dry beach towels, etc. We made the best of it though.

Comfortable Beach Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at this complex multiple times and again, really enjoyed our time! Pros: always love the complex & set up, updated bathroom, comfortable seating area, well appointed kitchen (didn't ever cook), you can bike everywhere, and you are close to the beach access point. Cons: the dining room light did not work, the ceiling fan needs some TLC in the bedroom, and the HDTV did not have HD channels. (all things others have noted in their reviews). Next year we will likely stay at another complex altogether since the beachfront to the left and right of the beach access point is now private! So it isn't as convenient as it once was, which is the big for staying there.

Perfect for small families!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third time staying in this complex, first time in this unit. Overall our stay was very good! We liked having a king bed in the master, the bathroom was nicely updated and spacious, and both the beach and pool were a short walk away. The kitchen isn’t as stocked as some rentals we’ve stayed in (I couldn’t find measuring spoons) so keep that in mind if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also we didn’t feel comfortable letting anyone sleep on the top bunk as there is no railing at all to keep a kid from rolling off. Overall, we had a great experience!

Excellent location

The property was a very short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, conveniently located next to restaurants and services. Very pleased with the unit, clean and welcoming. Will definitely return!

The unit is adjacent to the sidewalk that leads directly to the beach access boardwalk. It's approximately the distance of 1 block away, so it's very quick and convenient. The unit is beautifully decorated, well-equipped with supplies, and has comfortable furniture in every room. We slept great and enjoyed every moment in this rental. We've saved the information, so we can hopefully reserve this exact condo on future trips. Truly a wonderful spot to enjoy the beach and spend time with family and friends.
