Primary complaint is that unit had very uncomfortable loveseat and sofa. So there was no good place to sit and relax inside. Furniture is just worn out and needs to be replaced. Also, living area is very cramped given the big dining room table. They did have good balcony furniture. Balconies are very small in this complex so probably wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, easy check in.

Beach was not crowded at this property which is a plus for my husband and I, the property was clean and the listing was accurate. The beds are a little on the firm side but that is just personal preference so if that is okay with anyone wanting to stay here that likes softer beds just heads up there. Otherwise great stay, really enjoyed this rental.

The property is beautiful. We loved their decor especially the beautiful, comfy couch. The view is great. Cool, local coffee shop up the street. And the ocean was so breathtaking. We will be back.

Pretty view. All was good, but the floors were sandy. It would be great if you have a different trashcan in the kitchen that you don’t have to touch each time you use it

Great stay!

Overall great stay-hidden gem right on the beach! Only issue was the complimentary beach chairs offered. The beach chair attendants were awesome, the issue was it was first come first serve as opposed to being reserved which was a hassle. Also, the chairs and umbrellas were so close together you almost had to be skillful at doing the limbo under the umbrella just to access your chair. Giving people a little more space between setups would make it a little more enjoyable....just a recommendation. Otherwise, great accommodations!

Wonderful condo!

Stayed with a friend! Beautiful beach and condo! Only complaint is at this price point it needs a new trash can in the kitchen. Guests shouldn’t be asked to fix it. Also in the main living room it needs a smart TV where guests can watch their own Netflix, Primetime ect. To ask guests to bring or rent DVDs is a little much. Minor things which are easily corrected. Otherwise just a beautiful property and beach and wonderful service.

Great location

Unit is just as pictured. And location is great. I agree with another reviewer for this price point main TV needs access to streaming apps. If that is available now provide instructions to access Netflix, Hulu etc. because we could not figure it out. Also guest bedroom TV needs cable. You can access only streaming apps there. Nothing else. Again for this money all TVs should have cable and streaming. Beach service being included is fantastic and parking is easy too. Luggage carts were very easy to find and use.

Beautiful Cond and GReat Location.

We really enjoyed the easy beach access right by the community pool and the 2 free beach chairs and umbrella. You can't beat that. This is soo much better than having to use the public beach access and lugging your stuff around. It was an easy bike ride to Seaside and an easy walk to subway, Café 30A, Angelina's pizza and many other places for eating . The unit was completely updated. All the appliances .. small or big were brand new. This was the first rental I stayed in that had a regular coffee pot and a Keurig.( sometimes it's just the small things! :) We had the best trip! I would recommend staying there again.

Back Again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every year we vacation in Seagrove, we stay here. We love it. I did notice this year that there are several opportunities in small details that are being overlooked. The bathroom cabinets were very dusty, bathroom decor was dusty, baseboards dirty. All the lightbulbs mismatched, kitchen garbage can broken. If I'm paying a cleaning fee, it needs to be CLEAN.

Music Festival Retreat

My wife and I came down from Birmingham for the 30-A Songwriters Festival; and the location of this condo was perfectly situated in the middle of 30-A. We absolutely loved the like-new furnishings and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was WELL furnished...one of the best we've ever encountered. The only issue I had...because I slept in the front bedroom...was the noise of the garbage truck every morning between 5 and 6 a.m. I realize that this cannot be helped and is certainly not a reflection on the condo itself. It is what it is. I just want to warn anyone that is a light sleeper of this daily disturbance.

Beautiful stay, attention needed

The property was clean and well kept, but for the price, a few things should be given attention. The dishwasher door spring was broken, and the door would fall open easily, and hard (had to watch if your foot was in the path). Also, the lamps should be updated (shades were loose). The kitchen area would benefit from some lighting above the snack bar area (newer, inexpensive led retrofit options are available). The vertical blinds should also be replaced with curtains since several blades are missing). Exhaust fans in the bathroom don’t function. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Pool not clean, ton of junk in master closet, condo entered in our absence for no reason

We love this area & have struggled to find a nicely kept property with good management that has an elevator. The condo was fairly clean, however we didn’t dare use the pool as it needed a good cleaning. The vertical blinds in the master bedroom had no wand to move them, one slat detached when we tried to open them. We put it in a closet where there were several others in a pile underneath an unused chair holding a bunch of unneeded things - why doesn’t the owner just get rid of all that junk & make more closet space?? We reported a slow draining sink in the master bath & it was fixed. One elevator wasn’t working properly & when we reported it we were told just to not use it. Others we spoke with told us of not being able to get to their floor but no sign to not use that elevator was ever posted. The night before we left, our door was slightly open when we returned. Nothing had been taken, but we were not happy that someone had apparently entered the condo without our permission.

Better beds would make this a 5 star

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We normally spend a little more on a vacation property than we spent this time. We expected more of a compromise since this was a budget vacation for us. The property was a great value for what we spent. It was much nicer than we expected. However, next time we will try to get a unit with better beds. The beds were not bad, but not on par with what we needed for old bones. Also, at 67 years of age it was very difficult to stand up after using the tiny toilets in this unit. The bathrooms are small so maybe an elongated toilet with a more comfortable height would not fit. I do not recommend this unit for anyone with joint pain because of the quality of the beds and the tiny size commodes. Also, there were no luggage racks in the rooms and no furniture to place a suitcase on to. We found it necessary to place the luggage on the bed to unpack. No doubt other guests have had to do the same. This is a pet peeve of mine. I know where my luggage has traveled and I prefer not to place it on the bed. Benchmark was great. We will certainly engage their help in the future to find a vacation property more suitable for our needs. A little more expense for a unit with better beds and comfort height commodes will be what we will be looking to find.

Homey Condo with Beautiful View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was wonderful for us. It was well decorated, clean, and well stocked. While I agree the prior reviews that the couch could be replaced or cleaned, it was not nearly as bad as I expected. I loved the little boxes of toiletries and kitchen supplies. They had extra blankets in the closets. We enjoyed the tall table and chairs on the porch. The building itself is pretty old looking, but the condo has been renovated and looked great. We had a great time! We especially loved the ocean view from the master bedroom and living room. It is pretty close to the trash shoot and elevators. No one else was there when we were so it wasn’t an issue, but something to be aware of if those sounds would bother you.

Beachcrest Unit 1204

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to stay at Beachcrest and we enjoyed the property very much. The property was well maintained and the 12th floor view was fantastic. However the furniture in Unit 1204 needs attention. The cream sofa is very worn and dirty and seams are splitting on a cushion. We didn’t want to sit on it so we covered it with a blanket. Unfortunately, this dirty sofa has been reported previously and the owners of the unit have not addressed it. The fabric on the dining chairs is also dirty. Overall, the experience was good. We would stay at Beachcrest again but probably not this unit unless changes are made.
