House has 4 spacious bedrooms that made it comfortable for our family. Great pool and so close to crystal beach. We had a fantastic stay. Great communication with the host was appreciated especially during hurricane Isaias.

This was a beautiful property and the perfect place to stay for our friends vacation! We had plenty of room to spread out throughout the house and enjoyed spending time together there! The house was very clean and the host communicated very well! The kitchen was well stocked and made eating in a breeze! 100% would love to stay there again!

The house was exactly as expected and very comfortable for our group. Super easy access to the beach. Beach wagon, toys, chairs were all available and it was so nice not to have to pack any of these items. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we've seen in a rental and we cook A LOT. We did have trouble with the air conditioner keeping up one day with the house getting to 76 degrees and very humid inside, which the host chalked up to it being 87 degrees out that day. A couple days later, the air conditioner line inside the house was completely frozen so the unit was not running, and it was over 80 degrees in the house. We weren't super happy with the lack of remedial options provided from the host, but as it was on our last night we didn't want to pack up. Eventually the AC thawed and turned back on to cool the house down overnight. The host said upon inspection by his HVAC person after we checked out that no problems were found so maybe this was a complete fluke situation. The house itself was exactly what we needed and overall we had a great stay.

We had a great time with our grown children and two grandbabies at this lovely home. There was plenty of space for us. We did rent a cart to make getting to the beach easier with babies. I loved that the pool was gated. We all wished we could have stayed longer!! Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Rory’s beach house! It is a short walk to the beach. The pool is small but was perfect for the kids to play in when beach conditions weren’t great. House is well stocked and the garage surprisingly had numerous beach items (chairs, toys, wagons, etc.). The house was exactly as expected. Overall, this is a great rental house in Destin!

House had everything we needed and more! The beach was just a short walk away and the wagon made easy work of hauling stuff back forth. Would recommend having the pool heated if your staying in spring.

Everything about this beautiful beach house is perfect! The host was very prompt in any questions I had and great communication! The house far exceeded my expectations. It had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable, the furniture was also very comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood and just a 5-minute walk to the beach. There were beach chairs, floaties, boogie boards and bikes. Would love to stay here again!

Pelican’s Perch was simply a Dream!! Our family had a wonderful stay and loved all the special features in Rory’s beach house!! We all LOVED the pool and the sweet stroll to the most beautiful emerald colored ocean and white sand. Crystal Beach is a charming neighborhood and Rory is a Fantastic host!!! The house was perfect. It is a close walk to the beach and several restaurants. The pool was great. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed. The host responds quickly to messages and was a pleasure to work with.

Everything was well supplied and easy to find. The pool was perfect. It was a very easy walk to beach. Only thing to be aware of is that parking in general for this area is tight and this house is no exception. If you have more than 2 cars, you will be playing musical cars a lot but it's well worth it for the location and the rest of the house amenities.

Rory’s home is great for a family with children. The house is well equipped and within walking distance to the beach (even for 3 little ones under 5). The heated pool was a hit with the kids and the garage was stocked with pool floats, beach toys and a wagon, which made the trips to the beach a breeze. We had some issues with the WiFi not working and the pool not heating well but Rory was quick to respond and rectify the situation which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We absolutely would stay here again and want to thank Rory for maintaining such a great property.

Excellent Vacation Home

We enjoyed this vacation house. It had everything we needed from high chair to a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The pool was enjoyable every day, and we were able to drive down to the beach and drop off family easily.

Great location close to the beach.

The house was great! We enjoyed out stay in this quiet community feel with a short walk to the beach. It was nice to have the amenities of a home while away from home by the beach.

The property was close to everything and was very clean. Enjoyed the private pool especially when we couldn’t get in the water at the beach the one day. The property owner was set up for children and families. The amenities exceeded our expectations. We will stay here again.

This beach house was beautiful! We enjoyed all this home had to offer our family within our week stay! Tons of beach accessories to make getting to the beach and having fun at the beach easier, AND let’s not forget the bikes! We had the best time staying here and swimming in the pool in the evenings! Hope we get the chance to return next year!
