Perfectly located two and half blocks from the beach in the highly desirable Crystal Beach area of Destin. 4 bedroom/2.5 baths plus loft. All bedrooms/loft have blackout blinds and smart TVs. Large living room with leather sofas and smart TV. The kitchen has stainless gas oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all amenities. The dining room has a table to seat eight people comfortably. Beautiful wrap around deck with screened in porch. The backyard includes a fenced in pool, outdoor dining table, gas grill and outdoor shower. Plenty of beach amenities including a wagon, cooler, chairs, umbrella and toys. Two child booster seats for dining table, baby gate and two Pack N Plays available upon request.

We had a great time with our grown children and two grandbabies at this lovely home. There was plenty of space for us. We did rent a cart to make getting to the beach easier with babies. I loved that the pool was gated. We all wished we could have stayed longer!! Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Rory’s beach house! It is a short walk to the beach. The pool is small but was perfect for the kids to play in when beach conditions weren’t great. House is well stocked and the garage surprisingly had numerous beach items (chairs, toys, wagons, etc.). The house was exactly as expected. Overall, this is a great rental house in Destin!

Everything about this beautiful beach house is perfect! The host was very prompt in any questions I had and great communication! The house far exceeded my expectations. It had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable, the furniture was also very comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood and just a 5-minute walk to the beach. There were beach chairs, floaties, boogie boards and bikes. Would love to stay here again!

Pelican’s Perch was simply a Dream!! Our family had a wonderful stay and loved all the special features in Rory’s beach house!! We all LOVED the pool and the sweet stroll to the most beautiful emerald colored ocean and white sand. Crystal Beach is a charming neighborhood and Rory is a Fantastic host!!! Everything was well supplied and easy to find. The pool was perfect. It was a very easy walk to beach. Only thing to be aware of is that parking in general for this area is tight and this house is no exception. If you have more than 2 cars, you will be playing musical cars a lot but it's well worth it for the location and the rest of the house amenities.

Rory’s home is great for a family with children. The house is well equipped and within walking distance to the beach (even for 3 little ones under 5). The heated pool was a hit with the kids and the garage was stocked with pool floats, beach toys and a wagon, which made the trips to the beach a breeze. We had some issues with the WiFi not working and the pool not heating well but Rory was quick to respond and rectify the situation which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We absolutely would stay here again and want to thank Rory for maintaining such a great property.

The property was extremely close to the beach, which we absolutely loved! We rented a golf cart from Island Cruisers and would recommend to anyone needing a cart! They delivered and picked up from our property location. The AC in the house was mediocre at best. Main level stayed cold but the middle and upper levels were muggy—trouble keeping at a steady cool temperature. The third floor had an attic access door that continually popped open and closed (not sure why) at night—creeped our kids out. House had everything you would need inside. Well equipped. We had several issues with flood lights off of the master bedroom porch flipping on (motion detector style) but not flipping off at night. We’re guided to turn off all switches inside of house and garage to no avail. They started working properly midway through our stay. Not sure why?? Pool was not as inviting as pictures. A bit trashy behind garage with beat-up lounge chair cushions—needed to be cleaned up. Storms made pool extremely dirty but was sparkling clean on our last full day, after pool cleaner came to service. Overall experience was a B-. However, house had all amenities for a nice stay, including beach towels, beach wagon, beach chairs and many beach toys for kids.

Excellent Vacation Home

We enjoyed this vacation house. It had everything we needed from high chair to a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The pool was enjoyable every day, and we were able to drive down to the beach and drop off family easily.

This beach house was beautiful! We enjoyed all this home had to offer our family within our week stay! Tons of beach accessories to make getting to the beach and having fun at the beach easier, AND let’s not forget the bikes! We had the best time staying here and swimming in the pool in the evenings! Hope we get the chance to return next year!

Family Vacation

This property is a great place to stay. Very well stocked. Floors were a little uneven but didn't affect our stay. Location was good. Kids loved the pool. We would stay here again.
