Although there is plenty of space for a family, it was just my husband and I but it still felt just right for the space we used. The house was so well done and we enjoyed the front porch and the back patio. It's a perfect neighborhood spot. The driveway is on quite a hill which doesn't give much room on either side of the vehicle but we managed to figure that out without a problem. The only suggestion we have would make is to have some sort of a drop-leaf table that could expand to seat four to six people for playing games, cards, Etc. There's currently only a two-seater near the front door and that isn't conducive for that type of activity.

Excellent stay

This house was perfect for our family as we were in town for our son’s baseball tournament. Conveniently located to everything we needed and a very clean, comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again!

Advertised rate was not honored.

The house was nice and convenient. The idea of leaving a key outside for anyone to find is a security issue. The driveway was very steep with leaves covering it. One of our guests slipped on the leaves. This owner advertised one rate but at check out was changed I could not cancel due to the time frame of the booking. It was a true bait and switch. I have documents to prove my case. The house was clean and adequate. But the overall experience would not have me stay here again. VRBO has lost my business due to this experience

Good location in Waldo

Close to 75th&Wornall so the trolley trail, Waldo Pizza, Waldo Cafe, Picklemans Deli, drug store all handy but road construction Oct.2024 made some detours necessary. Far enough off the busy streets to be quiet, obvious modernization and upgrades nice and functional, but stained carpet in living room and acorns underfoot in front with steep stairs and steep driveway detracted. Limited cutlery especially if a larger group. Advertised pet friendly and does have fenced yard, but $1000 fine if pet gets on a bed not disclosed until final instructions. Neighborhood does have many dogs, some prodigious daytime barkers.

Perfect Stay That Met All Our Needs

We visited Kansas City for a family reunion and this stay was a pleasure as it had adequate space for our family that included two of our adult children and our new grand pup who experienced her first plane ride.

Great value in KC

The house was very clean and updated. I was in town for work and it was easy to get everywhere I needed to be in KC. Great location with local restaurants and shops close by. I would definitely recommend!

Close to everything fun

We stayed 4 days for a Chiefs game, the symphony, the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, The Blue Room Jazz Club, barbecue and the country club plaza. We had a great stay- beds were comfy and it was like a home away from home. Very clean and plenty of room. We highly recommend staying here.

OK. Not a repeat

The property was clean and well maintained and located close to where we needed to be for the days we were there. The neighborhood is right on the edge of sketchy but blocks away from amazing. When we arrived the dishwasher was full of the previous stays items and the laundry was full of the past stay's items as well. Overall OK, but not a repeat.

Great Price and Good Property

This property was priced right and had enough amenities to make the stay worth the price. The neighborhood had plenty of good restaurants and was in decent location compared to destinations. Only wish the TV viewing options were better.

Perfect for our needs!

The house is located within walking distance of everything we needed! It is also located close enough to downtown for the wedding we attendee. We even got to enjoy the grill out back with extended family. Overall, this rental was perfect and exactly what we needed!

For example if you need to make rice aroni.. the large skillet warped and really old.

It was great. Very clean. You do need a new set of skillets & pots. Condition of the pans are bad. Only other item I would change is the towels were terribly rough.. I used our own too scratchy, awful.

Nice space for our needs

Great place for 4 adults and 2 kids. I did bring a folding long table with a couple chairs which was definitely needed as we had a few meals at the house and then could all sit together. The kitchen could use a few upgraded pans and larger utensils but overall a great house for our stay.

Okay stay! Small problems nothing major

This is a older property so it’s been remodeled but not professionally done. First trouble was no pass key but called and one was given immediately. (great) however pets are allowed so I immediately got a pet smell. Checked the house and found the rugs were stained. Sprayed with disinfectant and the smell went away. Also the remotes stop working (I went and got new batteries). I then looked for the bikes? No bikes. I went outside to sit but the outside patio was dirty. Not a big deal but when I notified management they said it’s cleaned just stained. So to keep from arguing I requested a hose to wash it myself. They replied it’s clean and they don’t furnish hoses (it’s never been cleaned). Would stay again but not my first choice
