Superbe Artisan Carriage House Apt + garage - Midtown Hyde Park Area

La superbe maison d'artisanat d'art, soulignée par des planchers de bois franc et des tapis de Stickley, est située à Janssen Place, dans le quartier de Hyde Park, une zone de Kansas City qui comprend des hôtels particuliers du tournant du siècle construits par de riches barons du bois d'oeuvre et d'autres industriels. . Il ya 19 maisons sur la rue, avec de nombreuses maisons de transport. Janssen Place est une rue divisée avec une large médiane. On y accède depuis la 36e rue, entre les rues Cherry et Kenwood, par un grand monument d'entrée. La rue a un éclairage historique et un bel aménagement paysager. Ce luxueux appartement de deux chambres avec cuisine gastronomique et tous les appareils Jenn-Air a été restauré avec soin, en accordant une grande attention à l'intégration du style de décoration Arts & Crafts. L'emplacement idéal dans le centre-ville permet un accès facile aux attractions de la région, notamment le quartier commerçant Plaza, le musée d'art Nelson-Atkins, la gare Union, le centre Sprint, etc. Aussi pratique pour les campus UMKC et KC Art Institute, et à quelques minutes en voiture du centre médical KU.

Pour nos chiens hôtes, nous avons derrière la maison des chariots une belle zone verte clôturée qui comprend une niche pour chiens, afin que ces clients puissent passer du temps en plein air seuls. Notre quartier regorge de promeneurs de chiens dont la seule exigence est qu'ils ramassent leurs chiens.

Great neighborhood and an adorable carriage house above the garage. It’s cozy and comfortable and near many places. If you have 6 adults you're going to be a bit crowded but they provide everything you need for your stay. The owner was always prompt to respond to any questions or concerns.

This is a perfectly equipped stay. Very functional and comfortable located in the historic Hyde Park, Janssen Place #4is wonderfully decorated to boot. We have stayed in many rentals through vacations, family visits, work contracts, etc, and this place is in a different category. Everything we could have needed for our stay was available. We are so very pleased to have stayed here. We actually arrived home after an almost 14 hour drive and felt relaxed, and I credit that to our stay.

We lived this Cozy, clean, cute, and centrally located retreat! There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and appreciate having separate bathrooms. Really lovely historic district and 15 min walk to the free tram to access most every point of interest downtown. If we return we will definitely book again!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Quality furnishings and genuine craftsman period decor. Hosts were available and very accommodating, but not intrusive. It was perfect for two adults. If you have energetic pets or young children, it might be best to ensure hosts can accommodate due to many ceramic and breakable objects in the home below counter level.I'm sure hosts would have delivered sugar for coffee if we had asked as I couldn't find any sugar in the cabinets. There was not enough hot water to fill the bathtub, which was disappointing, and unsure how often the Jacuzzi jets in the tub get cleaned.

Overall a very disappointing review that we wished guests would have consulted us while in residence. The hot water tank is oversized especially to fill the jacuzzi, so we will investigate this claim, and yes the jets are cleaned after each rental even though we don’t know if the jacuzzi was used. In fact the tub is is filled with disinfectant & water and run for ten minutes. We take cleaning and sanitizing very seriously. A 4 star review in this industry is detrimental particularly when the negative issues mentioned were never discussed with us such that we had an opportunity to correct.

The arts & crafts decor of this charming space made a great first impression, and the space continued to delight us with its comfort, quiet, and convenient location! We did not prepare meals while there, but noticed the quality appliances, cookware, etc. Communication from the host was thorough and prompt, with immediate responses to a few questions during our stay. We appreciated the ample room for off-street parking very close to the carriage house entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the peaceful and safe neighborhood full of gorgeous, historic homes. We also appreciated learning more about the area and homes from the wonderful book in the carriage house and the printed walking tour brochure.

The entire experience was great. The location was perfect and close to free public transportation to the downtown areas. The Carriage House was impeccable and made us feel at home and secure each day. It was a great experience.
