The Space:

Paradise awaits at this stunning two bedroom, two bathroom oceanview villa, located on the beautiful Amelia Island!



Situated at the south end of the Omni Amelia Island Resort grounds, with direct beach access and heated pool, this well-appointed home is absolutely perfect for your next family vacation, romantic getaway, or ladies' weekend. The first thing you’ll notice when driving into this exclusive gated community is the abundance of stunning, old white oak trees and Spanish moss, which form canopies over the roads and bike paths of the community. You will immediately feel in close touch with nature. Convenient parking meets you at the Shipwatch complex, where you will take stairs up to your new home-away-from-home.



Entering through the kitchen, you are immediately greeted by a casual, open-concept layout, decorated in soothing natural tones and beach decor with plush, comfortable furnishings. This space is absolutely perfect for entertaining and enjoying quality time spent among friends and family. Massive windows, which look directly out onto the ocean and private balcony, let it an abundance of natural light. Enjoy watching the morning sunrise over the water, or, if you're not a morning person, relax and take in the sea breezes in the evening with incredible sunset views. Shipwatch #1365 includes two bedrooms, both of which offer comfortable beds and furnishings, premium linens, and updated televisions, as well as two spacious and updated bathrooms.



All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay.



Just outside is the oceanfront heated pool (seasonally, October - February) and grilling area, just steps away from the beach. It is conveniently located close to the Omni Amelia Island Resort with a wide variety of dining and shops. After a busy day at the beach or the pool, stroll through the shops or spend some time at the full-spa facility. No matter the occasion, your party will undoubtedly plan future visits and create memories that will last a lifetime at the gorgeous Shipwatch complex.



Please note that accessing this condo does require walking up and down a minimum of half a flight of stairs.  While there is an elevator at Shipwatch, it only stops between floors, which means that being comfortable with steps is a must to enjoy your stay here.



Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests.



All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details.



We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

Beach accessories availability may vary due to supply and demand, season, and property limitations. Feel free to ask for extras but be aware that they may not be available during the busy season.



All DocuSign documents must be completed and returned before your arrival date. This is to protect you as a guest and the property itself.

Lovely view of the water

We really enjoyed the place. It’s big, the bed is comfortable, the view can’t be beat, the outside space is great. The pool was heated and fun even during a tropical storm. Kitchen is very well equipped.

Relaxing Retreat

The accommodations were comfortable and complete with an amazing view. We enjoyed numerous walks through the beautiful canopied trails and spacious beaches along with exploring the rest of the island and all it had to offer. It was everthing we expected and more. We hope to visit again in the future.

Great Memories Made Again!

We have visited Amelia Resort several times over the past several years. This property was the best thus far. We will hopefully be able to return in the future and will do so when we can stay here again. We made many wonderful memories this trip as we have many times before.

Great Visit

When I booked, I wasn't aware that it was within the Amelia Plantation. What a wonderful surprise! The grounds were well kept and the condo was perfect for our family of 4. The views were wonderful. We truly enjoyed the balcony to sit and watch the ocean. I would stay here again.

Great views!

We've stayed in many condos in the plantation. This one definitely was 4 out of 5 stars. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only reason for the 4 stars is because it could use a little updating and the carpet might be a concern for a long term rental, but we would stay here again.

Retirement Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The view was amazing. The grounds were so lovely and well kept. The condo was well stocked and very cozy. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck. Access to the beach was perfect, just a short walk. Communication was excellent from the time we reserved to the morning we checked out. Absolutely love 11:00 checkout so we don’t have to rush. The only thing we had trouble with was parking. It could have been since it was a holiday weekend. Anyhow, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Amelia-Shipwatch

We have been vacationing to Amelia Island and staying in Shipwatch for about 9 years now. We love the location with a quick walk to the beach or we can hop on our bikes for a fabulous ride to Boneyard Beach. The condo was open and light with a wonderful balcony which made for a fabulous time. We will be back.

Pictures don’t do it Justice

This condo was very homey- it had everything we needed with a wonderful balcony. Kitchen was stocked well with modern appliances, dishes, cookware and utensils making breakfast and lunch in the condo easy. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was large with great outdoor furniture for reading and eating outside with unobstructed ocean views for morning sunrises.

The location and views were great. The condo was not very clean, the smoke detector battery beeped and we asked maintenance to replace the battery and they never came. The refrigerator was not working so we lost food before they could bring us mini fridges to use. It was not a pleasant stay in this specific condo. I would stay in this building for the location but not this condo again.

The only issue we had is that the rental included an assigned parking spot near the elevator. Unfortunately when we got to the property, there were no assigned parking spots at all and no labeling of spots. Other than that, the rental was perfect and we would definitely rent this unit again..

Wonderful property

The property was even better than described. Big bedrooms, both with wonderful views of the ocean and access to the balcony. Large, fully equipped kitchen. Felt at home immediately. We loved it on this sister trip and I hope to return with my husband in May. Only 2 glitches. The TV in the Queen room was fuzzy and could not be used. The sink in the smaller bathroom was a little sluggish in draining. Neither of those issues would prevent us from staying again!

Long weekend retreat

The condo is nice and has amazing views from all rooms! Fully equipped with all essentials for kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Balcony is wonderful to have morning coffee or evening cocktails! Only a few issues
plumbing in guest bathroom did not have good drainage in shower and sink. Water backed up above ankle height during showers. The two beds in guest bedroom were way too hard. Like sleeping on a box spring with cardboard on top. Those being said, we definitely will make plans to return!

Amelia Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. The property managers did a great job making sure the condo was stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, a sponge, dishwasher tablets, and even a few laundry pods. The utility closet had a few beach chairs and toys stashed away, too. The view from the deck was nice and we loved being able to the ocean from every bed! My only issues were that the shower in the guest bath didn’t drain well, the shower curtain and fixtures in the master bath needed some attention, and the clothes would be stuck in a small gap inside the dryer and come out with black streaks that had to be washed out. We always love staying at the Omni Villas at Amelia and this trip was no exception! We will be back!!!

Checking in was great no office to go to the whole check in and checkout process was great.. Like the location and the closeness to the beach. Great views. But with all the pluses the property needs some upgrading. Carpet flooring painting and patching...

Great stay!

Our family of 5 had a great stay!! Condo was clean, beautiful view from the balcony and the most comfortable beds we have ever had at a condo. The one and only issue we had was the washer didn't clean our clothes very well (even small loads) but that would not keep me from staying at this exact condo again, loved it!
