The apartment is surrounded by cafés, restaurants, local shops, and attractions. Mont-Royal Avenue, Mount Royal, and St-Laurent Boulevard are all within a 5-minute walk.

- Some free street parking is available nearby, but signs are in French and can be tricky.
- On-site parking (subject to availability) (C$15/night) is primarily reserved for guests with mobility issues or small infants, but all requests are considered.
- Fits small sedans only
- Mandatory: use both the provided steering wheel lock bar and wheel boot
- Closest indoor parking garage: 400 rue de Malines
- Taxis and Uber are easy to find in Montreal.
- With increased car theft in Montreal, all driversâespecially those with SUVs (Toyota Highlander, Honda CRâV, Lexus, Jeep, pickup trucks, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid)âare strongly encouraged to use indoor parking and/or a steering wheel lock.
- We provide a lock bar you may borrow.

- Guests under 21 not accompanied by a parent must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- No 3rd-party bookings: the person who books must be part of the stay (they donât have to be the first to arrive).
***Cleaning, Check-in & Check-out
- We do NOT charge a cleaning fee although the apartment is cleaned by professionals.
- In return, we ask guests to complete a few simple checkout tasks:
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Bag and seal all garbage and bring it to the back alley
- Put white towels only in the washing machine and start a cycle (detergent provided)
*Our cleaners handle the beds and everything else.
- We reserve the right to charge C$100âC$300 + tax for failure to complete the required checkout tasks or for late departures.
- Optional mid-stay cleaning (fresh linens, towels, light tidy): C$100, subject to availability.
***Early check-in / late check-out (subject to staff availability):
- Fee: C$50 each
- If requested less than 10 days before arrival: C$100 each
- New times: check-in at 2:00 p.m., check-out at 1:00 p.m.

Bernhard and Frederique spent almost 20 years traveling the world on cruise ships working in several departments. This is where they met and after a true Love Boat story (they literally met on the Love Boat!), they decided to elect permanent residence in Montreal where Frederique was born and where they spent the last few years working in the property management field.
Because they love it so much, they decided to buy this 2nd rental property located in the best part of town, Le Plateau Mont-Royal and to start welcoming people from around the world.
In 2016, their daughter Abigail was born and so was FAB HomeRentals. It just worked out perfectly. F for Frederique, A for Abigail and B for Bernhard. FAB!
