City noise is possible …..Need a little extra relaxation? Ask Alexa for calming sleep sounds to make your nights even more restful.

✧ Courtesy: Because this is a second-floor apartment with another rental below, we ask that you’re mindful of noise. Patio hours end at 10 PM (weekdays) and 11 PM (weekends) since the bedroom below is right next to that space.

✧ Occupancy: Maximum is 2 guests at all times. This includes any visitors, even if they’re not staying overnight. Please make sure your reservation accurately reflects your guest count and keep us updated if plans change. ✧ We really appreciate open, honest communication — it helps us make sure everything goes perfectly during your stay. Failure to register the correct number of guests will result in the entire group being asked to leave without refund.

Perfect. Needed to stay close to downtown Cincy, but it's so expensive there. Just a hop over the river for this place and I discovered a cool neighborhood. Walking distance to so many restaurants, and more. The place was larger than expected. It's the full upstairs of a house. full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Very comfortable, clean, with cool and quirky decorations. Host shared so many snacks, water, coffee, etc. if needed. Even records to play on the vintage record player...yes, I did play one for fun.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway in Cincinnati! The space was clean, comfortable, and homey, with lots of decor to inspect and be delighted by! We loved that there were so many good restaurants within walking distance for dinner or brunch and that the trip into Cincinnati was so quick! Vicky and Doug left snacks and drinks that were so nice to have as options after traveling and throughout our stay. There was minimal street noise aside from the occasional emergency response vehicle, but even that was minimal compared to what could be expected in other similarly sized cities. And there were ear plugs by the bed just in case we were bothered! This place is full of thoughtful touches like the ear plugs that made us feel like we were staying with family. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend a stay to anyone headed to Cincinnati!

Absolutely charming

This was a wonderful stay for us. The place is lovely and beautifully decorated, with charming quirky little touches. The location is perfect, within walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at this property after the MNF game in Cincinnati. It was a fun and well maintained property. The host really thinks of everything and their hospitality was greatly appreciated. Great location too!

Close to Great American Ballpark

Fun house with lots of character! Have stayed here before and we were very happy with the area. I love that we can walk to The Yard at Covington for drinks and watching March Madness. Also walkable for us to Great American Ballpark. Perfect for our needs.

The space was nice and unique. Parking was a little difficult and the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. Good location with activities within walking distance and very close to museums and aquarium. Overall pretty satisfied.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We really appreciate your feedback. For future guests, parking is usually quite easy — most guests regularly find a spot directly in front of the house, and street parking is available along the block on both sides of the street. During occasional peak times when more neighbors are arriving home, there may be brief periods when spots are in use, but this is not typical for the duration of a stay. We’ve had some guests who prefer private parking. One street over we have a two family rental with assigned parking spots right next to the house ….. just another option. (Gold in the city! Ha!)

This was my first time to Covington and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the old town area is. "Always Friday" was a joy to experience because it really is an experience. There were fun, quirky touches everywhere that kept me looking and smiling. The place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Communication was great with the owner. I would definitely stay here again.

Vicky was a stellar host! Her communication was quick and helpful and her place was absolutely charming. We felt right at home, was always able to find parking right in front of the entrance and the location was perfect. Will definitely stay again if I find myself near Covington! 10/10!

Doug is an amazing film-maker, composer and sound guy; Vicky was a top podcaster on iTunes and blogger for 10 yrs focusing on "What Really Matters"; Aidan is our charming, handsome guy - a head pastry chef, supreme foodie, tech-geek, dog whisperer and all-around good human being loved by all; and Ellie is our adorable little princess - nick-named "Friday" for believing every day can be Friday when you're doing what you love. She loves music, her friends, art, pets and school. And then there is Granny (a.k.a. Linda) who is #5 to our Airbnb venture. Granny is retired and loves to help at the Airbnbs when she can. It's her FREE Thornton gym membership. She loves meeting guests and takes as much pride in hosting our homes as the rest of us.

We all LOVE food, movies, travel, people, and the city we live in! We have been landlords for nearly 30 years and our first Airbnb (House of Liebe - love in German) was the first home we bought together in Covington. The other half of this historic two-family is our other Airbnb (The Tres House - tres for three floors and our third Airbnb). It has been so much fun and successful we opened up two others, just a street over (The Slanted House and Always Friday - of course named after Ellie). And yes, The Slanted House does lean a little to the west if you are looking at it from across the street. So yes - we love hosting on Airbnb and always beautify-ing (a.k.a. cleaning) our homes to share with others.

Mutter Gottes Kirche, or Mother of God Church, was founded by German immigrants to Covington in 1841. The surrounding neighborhoods of treelined streets and brick town homes is named for this beautiful landmark. Mutter Gottes neighborhood was one of the first residential expansions of Covington, and most structures there were built between 1860 and 1890. The area bound by Fourth Street on the north, Pike street on the south, the CSX railway to the west, and Madison Avenue to the east is listed as a National Registered Historic District. Noteworthy historic structures include the fire station on Sixth Street and the Albert B. Koett house on Russell Street. A garden at the intersection of Sixth and Craig contains the Neighborhood Mosaic sign.
