Tradewind Terrace is an incredible waterfront property you have to experience for yourself. Stunning views of the lake await you from just about every room in the house. You feel like you are right on the water, and the dock boasts breathtaking views of the mountains. Enjoy amazing views of the lake and stars as you lounge in our brand new Marquis Hot Tub for 8 with LED lights and waterfalls. The expansive kitchen has seating for 10 with granite counter tops, an oversized center island and is fully equipped with all new small appliances and everything you would need for that special meal. This custom home has 7'+ interior doors & 10'+ ceilings and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. You will enjoy the 5 huge bedrooms including 2 master suites and 4 and a half bathrooms. Tiffani-style fixtures brighten the upstairs and the billiard room is ready for you to enjoy. A beautiful staircase leads to the fully finished lower level boasting 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, spacious family room w/gas fireplace & wet bar. Enjoy the downstairs where your family can chill and watch TV or battle it out in a family tournament of foosball or air hockey. Both the travertine tile terrace upstairs and the spacious downstairs terrace offer amazing views of the lake as well as areas to relax and make memories. The rock walkways and wall work leading to the lake are beautiful. Serve food and drinks from the cabana or outdoor kitchen on the dock where there is plenty of seating in and out of the sun. At night enjoy the rock outdoor fireplace and roast some marshmallows. We have 2 deep water floating docks for your boat, or wave runners and lots of space on our stationary dock. Enjoy exploring the lake as you cruise the shoreline in our three complementary kayaks and paddle boards. To insure your safety we have added a dock lifeguard shock warning system to our swim area. We have an ideal location at the end of the cove away from most boat traffic in a protected cove and located near Smith Mountain and the dam. We now have a whole house generator to insure you are uninterrupted during your stay. The location is only a short drive to restaurants, boutiques, the State Park Beach and grocery stores. Memories you make at Tradewind Terrace will last a lifetime! A rare find and a true Smith Mountain Lake gem.

The home was absolutely beautiful. Fall decorations were a nice touch too! Host was very friendly and communicative. All in all probably the best home rental I’ve stayed at. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Our family of 10 had the most wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. We spent hours just soaking in the stunning views. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and communicative. Great family vacation

The house was a great experience for our vacation this year. We enjoyed the size and everything available for our vast range of ages. The kids and adults all enjoyed the lake, kayaks provided by the owners as well as pool, air hockey and foosball.

Great Stay

Had a wonderful time staying here and would love to come back. Even with the cool and rainy weather we were able to enjoy the lake and all of the amenities of the property. Everything was exactly as advertised and communication with Nancy was great! Highly recommend staying at this beautiful house!

This property was one of the cleanest houses our family has rented. The view and dock area was amazing. The hot tub was a much added bonus. We will definitely be back at this house again!

Wonderful lake vacation home!!

We came to SML for a boating event, group of 10 adults. This house is set up perfect for a Lake vacation with friends and family. Everyone had plenty of privacy and space when needed. The Dock space was wonderful and we will def be back!

Great Vacation

This is a perfect house for larger groups who need plenty of space with all the conveniences of a home away from home. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable with a lovely view and outdoor space to enjoy. The owners were very responsive to our questions. Very quiet neighborhood, street is not busy for going for walks. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the lake with friends and family.

A Beautiful Getaway

I highly recommend this house. It has been one of our favorites and we have been renting on SML for the past 15 years. There were a lot of accommodations, that kept our teenagers busy. If we were not on the lake, we were busy cooking in the beautiful fully stocked kitchen or playing games (ping pong, fuse ball, air hockey, checkers and etc.) The house was clean, and we loved the fact linens were included. We would rent here again.

Perfect graduation getaway!!

This lakefront home was amazing in every way. Plenty of room to spread out , yet with large gathering areas to play games, swim, paddle board/kayak and just spend quality time with your loved ones. The Waterfront and hot tub were particularly wonderful!! The bedrooms were spacious and well laid out. The kitchen and eat in nook were well appointed and perfect for our large family. The hosts had every detail worked out and were very responsive and great work with. We can’t wait to go back!!!!

Amazing Vacation!!!

Nancy and Charles house was truly spectacular! The most outfitted vacation house we've ever stayed in. We wanted for nothing -- in the kitchen, at the dock, in the lake and in each of the bedrooms. We've already booked our week for next year. Nancy is most gracious and checked in with us several times through the year between our initial reservation and our stay. I cannot say enough good things about our hosts and their property. Book immediately!

Fantastic!

The house is lovely, and large enough for our group to spread out so everyone has their own space, as well as areas for gathering the family together. Lots of extras--pool table, ping pong table, foosball and air hockey, as well as a very well stocked boat house and kayaks and paddleboards. A comfortable walk to and from the boathouse via stone steps with a railing. The cove where the house is located is perfect for swimming and floating around the boathouse, and great for kayaking and paddle boarding. In short, it's perfection for a wonderful family vacation!

Gorgeous lakefront house!

Note that there is an additional tax that needs to be paid but that’s due to the county rules (out of the hosts control), so please consider this when budgeting. This was by far the place I have ever been. From the inside and out, the house was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and the checkin and checkout process was seamless. Nancy and Charles provided us with a packet that described things to do around, what to expect, wifi info etc. Heating/cooling and hot tub worked well. Highly recommend it! 10/10.

Terrific house in beautiful, quiet lake cove!

The house was on a lovely, quiet cove, just off the main lake. Great views from inside and outside, including two large decks. Very clean (I'm super picky). The house had all the amenities (as described) that our large group needed. It was nicely furnished, with plenty of sleeping accommodations, all the linens we required, all the supplies we needed (dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent etc, ie. the things you don't want to have to pack for a vacation!) We enjoyed the 2 large tv's (in two family room spaces) for watching sports and Disney for the kids. Also enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, corn hole, making smores, paddle boarding and lounging on the decks/dock. It was so nice to have easy access to our rental pontoon which we kept at the dock. Highly recommend this home for your large family! We will definitely return soon. Nancy was super to communicate with and answered a few questions before and during our stay quickly!

Fantastic house and great location

The house is spacious and fit our family well. The little touches such as providing clothing soap and hand soap were a nice touch! The dock with SUP boards and kayaks were great to have - the cove was lovely and mostly quiet so we were comfortable swimming off the dock. So many games and activities - the pool table was in use most of the day. Highly recommend.
