Essex is the ideal location to explore Marco Island. Just a short distance from the beautiful white sand beaches of Marco Island, it also offers outstanding fishing & boating, amazing seafood & breathtaking sunsets. An assortment of land & water activities make Marco Island the perfect year round escape. Enjoy swimming, boating, sunset cruises, waverunning, parasailing, jet skiing, tennis, biking, golfing or taking time out to relax in the sun. The Essex is located at the south end of Marco Island on famous Collier Boulevard, across the street from the Gulf of Mexico.

This south end of Marco Island also offers a fantastic area for walks and visits to Caxambas Park, where you can boat, kayak, canoe or just watch the dolphins. Beach chairs and towels are provided for your beach enjoyment.

This smoke-free Condo is a comfortable place to relax and take a true vacation. It is pleasantly furnished and is complete with TV, DVD, VCR, WiFi, washer, dryer and covered parking. Located on the 1st floor of this 5-story building provides easy access.

Dec Essex Stay

Everything was great - the condo and property were clean and well maintained. The condo was stocked with linens, towels and other necessities. The only thing that could have been better is if the beach equipment was in better shape. Thanks for a great stay!

Don’t look any further

We had an amazing stay and would choose this condo next time we come to Marco. We generally like to stay right on the ocean but for the cost and convenience to the beach this was a much more reasonable option. The condo was updated, very clean, had a great porch, all of the kitchen necessities and even had an ice maker. We loved the clean pool with lots of tables and chairs. Being on the first floor was an added plus for convenience. There are three beach accesses all within walking distance. They were 5, 10 and 20 minutes away. We used all three. You can rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach but they are also provided at the condo. Good shopping and restaurants within walking distance. You can’t find a nicer person than Janice who answers all of your questions quickly and is very flexible. Everyone is so friendly. My only regret is that we didn’t stay another week!!

Marco Island Vacation

This condo is one of the nicest condos on Marco Island we've been so far! Very clean, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. We were stunted by the cleanliness of the unit. The bedding sheets, towels and comforters were crispy clean. The storage is very convenient to store the beach gear. It's located conveniently close enough to the beach entrance and is within walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Check in and out is a breeze. The property manager was quick to respond and was ready to help out, however we had no issues during our stay. Thank you for making our relaxing vacation possible!

Great week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at Marco. We were so happy with this condo, as it provided us with everything we needed and it was beautifully updated. It was close to beach access which was nice. The pool was a bonus for some of the cloudy days. We would definitely utilize this facility again!

Perfect location, great condo.

The location is perfect! Short walk to beach, gas station, and a few restaurants. The condo was very nice and had everything a family of four needed for a week including beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, cooler and a cart to get everything to the beach. I was concerned about noise being right next to main road but was very quiet. Would return in a heart beat!

Marco Island is a beautiful place and staying at The Essex was a great experience. The condo was beautifully decorated and updated and so clean. Plus it was a very short walk to the beach. The Essex was a great place to vacation on Marco Island.

Great condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The rental process was very easy. The condo was clean, well-equipped, very quiet, AC worked great and a great location: walking distance to the beach. We wish the tennis court had not been locked, though.

Marco Trip

If you’re looking for a great place in Marco, this is it. The place was great and as described, and even better in person than the pictures show! The entire property was well over my expectations for cleanliness, comfort, ease of access to beach, and location in relation to food/entertainment. The pool at the property was also great. Honestly this is one of the best VRBO’s I’ve stayed in to date. Communication was open and easy with all the parties involved. Would stay here again anytime…and will on my next Marco trip.

Essex on Marco

The unit we rented was even nicer in person than the pictures. We so wish we owned this unit. The people we dealt with were so nice, easy to reach and very helpful. People we met at the Essex were amazing. Hoping to rent this unit again.

Great condo, great people, great location!

We had a wonderful week. Condo is beautiful and clean. The rental process was easy and contact people for the condo made sure we knew that they were always available if we needed them. Very close to the beach.
