McGill Cabin located on Sunset Bay

Turn down the drive and leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind you!

For more than 40 years, the McGill Cabin has provided a simple and rustic retreat at the water’s edge. Literally, at the water’s edge.

Located on Sunset Bay, the cabin features a large stone fireplace which is the centerpiece of the main living area. You also find group seating for reading, relaxing and playing games. A long dining room table for eight doubles as a great craft table during the day; and, looks out over the water.

Through large windows, or one of the two lakeside decks, you’ll see boats sail the channel and weather roll across the mainland. You can end your day watching the often-spectacular sunsets for which the bay is named. Whether to put your toes in the water or to take the full plunge, access to the lake is just ten steps away. Another deck, along the back of the house, looks on to a large sun-drenched lawn that is perfect for yard games and the outdoor fire pit.

The McGill Cabin will comfortably accommodate up to five on the main floor, and two in a ground level light-filled suite accessed by its own entrance. The main floor bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The lower level bathroom has a walk-in shower.
