Great room. Portofino staff was wonderful. Check in process was a little stressful. Took about 45 minutes, but would definitely stay at Portofino again.

Wonderful stay! It’s gorgeous and has the most beautiful view of both the gulf shore side and the sound side. Resort staff were friendly, host was very responsive with communication, and check in/check out were very easy. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities which made paying the amenities fee unpleasant..but wasn’t anything that would prevent me from staying again.

Nice clean apartment - clean and comfortable bedding, ample closet and storage. OceanView from each room is gorgeous and unbeatable. Resort itself is secured, well maintained, convenient and great etiquette of employees.

Points faibles : Communication
We arrived on Thursday afternoon and had a seamless check in process. The communication on the front end was great and easy to understand. We did have two small issues. The internet password was not correct and we couldn't connect to WiFi. I tried calling the number provided and left a voicemail but never received a call back. I also sent a text to the number provided and no response. There was also a couple of bugs in the 2nd bedroom not a huge deal cause it's Florida but the sheets were probably not changed for sometime. Other than that the property itself was amazing and we love the Portofino.

Nice

It was a nice property, though not clean. We take our shoes off by the entrance and our feet were black within minutes of arrival. The living room TV didn’t want to work for us with paid subscriptions. I didn’t like a high top seating on the balcony on the 20th floor. Didn’t seem to be safe. No extra blankets were provided, I like to be warmer than my husband. But had nothing to cover myself with. Besides that, it was a nice location with nice amenities.

Thank you for the review. I appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration to improve the property. We strive to provide a clean and comfortable experience for all our guests. I will look into the issues you mentioned with the television and the balcony seating. Providing extra blankets is also a reasonable request, and I will ensure that this is addressed. I'm glad you found the location and amenities to be nice overall. Please feel free to reach out if there is anything else we can do to enhance your future stays with us.

Beautiful views convenient location

The resort property was nice and it wasn’t busy late April/ early May. We had a parking pass for the garage but it was a tight fit. It was easier to park in the overflow parking in the outside lot. Beach was right across the street, easy to walk over. Didn’t use the pools but did go to adventure cove side to swim in the sound. The gulf had red flag warnings the whole time we were there so couldn’t swim in the ocean. We did end our trip two full days early since it was storming and there wasn’t much for us to do at all. We don’t drink/ party, so closer to the pier wasn’t really appealing to us. It was nice to drive east and enjoy the views and the lack of people. We brought beach towels, cleaning supplies and laundry soap to clean up the condo when we were done and do laundry. Very spacious, didn’t use the second bedroom/ half of the condo at all since it was only us two.

Mostly all excellent

The view can’t be beat! 20th floor. The queen size bed is very comfortable. The only complaints we have RS follows:The number one thing that needs to change is the master king size bed needs to be thrown away. They do not need to let one more person sleep on that thing! Lol. The living room furniture could be replaced as well. It is rather worn. The dryer doesn’t work very well either. The kitchen living room and bedrooms are all great. The bathrooms are great. The amenities are great. Just remember that they charge you for the amenities when you get there. It’s not added to your final bill on VRBO or wherever you booked through. We would be glad to return in the future and use the same room as long as they replace the king size bed. We did complain about the bed, but they said there was nothing they could do about it until Monday because the owners were unreachable at the time.
