We stayed in Bluewater Resort 1002B and had a nice stay! Laurie was an absolute blessing and so helpful with the event we were attending — we really appreciated her support. The room itself was pretty basic, but the balcony view was lovely and made it worth it. Parking could be a little frustrating at times, but overall it wasn’t too bad. The Lido Deck was a cool spot with a great vibe — definitely a nice bonus to the stay

We stayed in Bluewater Resort Unit 1002B through Elliot Realty/MyrtleBeachVacationRentals from June 11-14 and paid nearly 900 for three nights. We chose this property because we had previously stayed at Bluewater and had a great experience, but this stay was completely different.The condo was dirty and poorly maintained. The refrigerator was dirty and rusted, tiles were cracked, the shower curtain liner had mold and hair from previous guests, the shower floor had mold around the edges, the couch was stained, the microwave needed cleaning, and a kitchen knife still had food stuck to it. The bedspread had what appeared to be a blood stain, and the sliding bedroom door was off its track and unusable. The photos online were also very misleading.After submitting an honest survey about the condition of the unit, no one contacted us. Instead, housekeeping entered our occupied room without knocking or announcing themselves. The following day, two maintenance workers attempted to enter using the door code without prior notice. We were also locked out of our room after the code was changed without our knowledge, resulting in a 45-minute delay while trying to regain access.The biggest issue was not the condo itself but the complete lack of communication and disregard for guest privacy. No one ever contacted us to discuss the concerns, offer a solution, or even acknowledge the problems. After returning home, I attempted to discuss the issues and was told they would not speak with

We are very sorry to hear about the cleanliness and maintenance issues you encountered upon arrival. The condition of the refrigerator, bathroom, furnishings, linens, and kitchen, as well as the maintenance concerns you described, are not representative of the standards we strive to provide. We also regret that the unit did not accurately reflect the expectations set by the listing photos. We especially apologize for the communication issues you experienced during your stay. Housekeeping and maintenance should never enter an occupied unit without following proper procedures, and we understand how unsettling those incidents must have been. We also regret the inconvenience caused by the door code change and the delay you experienced in regaining access to your unit. Most importantly, we're sorry that you felt your concerns were not acknowledged. Every guest deserves to have their feedback taken seriously, and we regret that your experience left you feeling unheard. Your comments have been shared with our management, housekeeping, and maintenance teams for review so we can address both the condition of the property and our communication processes. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and sincerely apologize that your stay fell so far short of expectations.
