A beautiful home offering a sweeping view of the ocean and Channel Islands. A quiet retreat , close enough to town and amenities while private and peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here watching the lobster fisherman and dolphins, pelicans and seagulls, as well the colorful sunsets.

This property exceeded our expectations. The views are amazing, it is plenty big enough, and the yard was so nice to hangout in. Absolutely stunning!

Spectacular property. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived, the welcome binder covered everything and then some, and the home was even better than expected. Rental agency was friendly and attentive. Best property I've ever stayed at; words don't do it justice!

The home is beautiful and had the best views and location. You are dealing with a management company which is fine. We had a number of hiccups which took some time for them to respond and acknowledge. You’d leave a message over the night when they were closed and I’d expect a call or response within an hour of opening in the morning but did not, had to call to follow up. We did not want any repairs done while we were there for 4 nights for our sons wedding, but thought for an ultra luxury place things should have been checked out and in good order like a freezer that didn’t work or a box fan that didn’t work. The internet was off for half a day and we weren’t told about it or given any updates. When we followed the orders in the welcome book on restarting the modem, it didn’t help and we called and after quite awhile before responding, we were told it would be fixed in 30 minutes. We were never told if it was a system issue from the provider or why it took so long and why no one let us know the status. Loved the place and would come back again, just was missing the high expectations of a superior place advertised repeatedly in texts and emails received from the concierge’s about how they’d take care of you here.

A lovely, tranquil, immaculate home in a friendly, residential neighborhood. The furniture is new, from The Pottery Barn. The beds and linens were beautiful and comfortable. Typical of The Mesa, the property looks out over the ocean from a cliff. It is ocean front property but not on the sand. The backyard lawn and gardens were well kept and charming. There is a lovely, large fire pit, too. Everything is in good order and immaculate. A well cared for property close to everything you would need, like shopping. . Not far from The Douglas Preserve or Hendry’s Beach (leash-free dog beach). There is everything you would need but it is not a kitchen set up for extensive cooking or baking. There are many places to sit, eat or watch TV. The bathrooms are nice but not the house’s most notable feature. The reason to rent this house is for its situation on the cliff, above the ocean, its calm and comfortable furniture and extraordinary ocean views from the indoor space and the outdoor deck.I would take friends and family here again!Also, nestled in the neighborhood is a long, mostly wooden, set of stairs leading to the sand. It took me a while to climb back up them, though the younger ladies in our group seemed to climb them without needing to rest. Photos from that location, taken in early morning or sunset, were exquisite.
