Overall, our stay was okay, but the cleanliness wasn’t what we expected. The toilet had not been cleaned, the carpets didn’t appear to have been vacuumed, and the floors didn’t seem to have been mopped. We also found a previous guest’s sunglasses on the floor, which made us question how thoroughly the home had been cleaned between stays. In addition, the welcome guest book had mold on it and could use replacing.When we called about the floors, the host apologized and kindly offered to have someone come clean while we were out for the day, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, when we returned, it didn’t appear that anything had been cleaned, and the floors looked the same as before.I really wish the home had been cleaner because the location is absolutely perfect—it’s so central and convenient. This property has the potential to be an amazing place to stay, and with more attention to cleanliness between guests, it would be an easy place to recommend. The cleanliness issues are the reason we’re giving it two stars. Had the home been thoroughly cleaned and the concerns addressed, we would have gladly given it a much higher rating.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered upon arrival. This is not the standard we strive to provide, and we understand how finding overlooked items and areas that needed attention would impact your experience. We also appreciate you bringing the moldy guest book to our attention—it has been replaced. We're sorry that our attempt to address your concerns during your stay did not meet your expectations. We offered to send our cleaning team back while you were out, and we regret that the results were not satisfactory. Your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping team, and we've reinforced our inspection procedures to help ensure every guest arrives to a home that is thoroughly cleaned and ready for their stay.
