Luxury Glamping with a taste of Native America!
Stay in a hand-hewn oak timber cabin, on the historical "Trail of Tears" in Union County, Illinois. This lodging offers the rustic appeal of an authentic cabin in the woods, with the all the creature comforts and all year around outdoor hot tub.

AdamsRock is located in The Shawnee Forest, home to many natural wonders. Take a relaxing hike through Giant City State Park, or explore Panther's Den and The Natural Bridge. See Bald Knob Cross of Peace in Alto Pass overlooking the foothills to the Mississippi River.
AdamsRock Cabins are centered in the Shawnee Wine Trail consisting of more than 13 wineries and event centers. Ask us about booking a winery tour.

Guest can enjoy the entire cabin.

The host was very kind and responsive. The location was close to local restaurants but off the beaten path enough to feel secluded and to enjoy a nice bonfire. Bathrooms and house was clean and everyone enjoyed the hottub. Checkout was not overly complicated just straight forward.

I’ve stayed at several VRBO locations in Southern Illinois and ask of them were nice. This place was by far the nicest of them though.

Our family had a nice time staying at the cabin. The location and cleanliness of the property was great! We went hiking during the day and would relax in the hot tub at night. We would also cook out on the grill and had a fire in the outside fire pit one evening. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee and watching the deer and in the evenings to unwind. We will definitely stay again.

SIU Graduation Weekend

Get away

The cabin was very nice and quiet. Great location, close to activities in the area. Very clean! The porch and fire pit were very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable! The communication with the owners was probably the best I have ever had, very prompt! I would recommend this cabin! Thank you for sharing it with us! We made memories!

Romantic Getaway

This Cabin is perfect to unwind and step away from reality. The cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The only thing we had that wasn't for us was the beds are soft. If you are used to a firmer mattress note the bed are not firm. Other than this this place is amazing and we will be going back

Very peaceful

Nice clean property, slightly secluded. Went to Owl Creek winery which was a nice place. Nice amenities at the cabin, spacious. Would go back!

FANTASTIC Cozy yet Roomy Cabin!

The cabin was fantastic! It was super clean, comfy and had everything we needed! We’ll have to visit again to try out the hot tub, which looked great. Our cabin was perfectly located to easily visit many of the wineries and the Bald Knob Cross of Peace. We imagine it must be beautiful in the fall also. We hope to visit in the fall one day soon. The owners have an additional cabin in the same location and it would be so fun for family and/or friends to rent both cabins for a fun time!

Vacation 2024

Everything was great. The Host was very accommodating and met with us the first evening to make sure everything was ok. The cabin was close to town and the interstate but not to close. We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed ourselves very much.
