I’m a single mom and a high school science teacher with a big dream. This property is a passion project of mine, and my goal is to slowly transform it into a peaceful vacation retreat where people can come unplug and enjoy the beauty of the Southern Illinois countryside.

Hosting allows me to continue improving and remodeling the property so each guest can enjoy a comfortable, welcoming space. With continued support, I hope to eventually offer amenities like space for guests to bring their horses and camp near the stocked pond at the back of the property.

This place has already come a long way with an almost complete remodel, and I take pride in sharing it with guests who appreciate nature, relaxation, and a quiet escape. I truly enjoy hosting and helping others create memorable stays in a setting that means so much to me.

While the home is close to town, it's still in a rural setting—so you may notice an occasional bug or two, especially depending on the season. We do our best to keep everything clean and comfortable for our guests!
