This open concept home with tons of windows has 3 levels each with gorgeous views and decks to relax on. Spacious vaulted-ceiling main room with comfy recliner sofa/chairs. Home has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 17. Outdoor entertaining space right on the water with large fire-pit area, dock with relaxation area and foot-friendly carpeting, seating, outdoor speakers w/ bluetooth, gas grill and Traeger smoker, and plenty of room to relax.

2 bedrooms with lake views, upper level loft area, and 2 additional bedrooms on the main level. Fantastic kitchen with all the kitchen supplies you will need. Home also has 2 office desk setups and plenty of nooks to utilize if working remote. Strong 250 mbps Wifi coverage throughout!

*Please note there are 2 outdoor security cameras on the property. One facing the exterior door to the home, and another on the dock facing our boat. These cameras record audio/video*

This property was awesome! It was right on the lake and had everything you needed to have a great weekend! The beds were so comfy and the dock on the water is the perfect vibe! Would definitely go again! Highly recommend!

Great getaway centrally located on the lake

We had a great getaway on the lake at this home, it was centrally located on the lake and the kids had a blast. Communication was great with Matthew and were very accommodating. Would love to return soon!

Tons of fun!!!

Beautiful property. Plenty of room for multiple families to spread out. We loved the gas grill and smoker and were able to prep great meals in the spacious kitchen. We loved the kayaks and paddle board. Our group of 15 made some wonderful memories here. Would definitely recommend to others.

Short gateway with friends and family.

We had amazing time staying at this place. Everything worked out for us like it should. House is nice and clean with beautiful view of the lake. What you have to bring with you is food because everything you need is there. I recommend this house.

Large Family Trip to LOTO

The Landing was a great property with many amenties to meet the needs of our large group. The outdoor space was wonderful, the firepit area a particular hit, and the well-stocked dock the star of the show. The home was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our group of 20. We have been coming to the LOTO for a few years as a group and many commented that The Landing moved to the top of the list of the best accomodations we have experienced.

Family Vacation

The house was exactly as described. There were 18 of us and there was plenty of room. The location was beautiful! We had beautiful views of the lake and it was a great place to fish and swim. Everyone caught a fish. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and ate most meals outside. This was the best vacation home we have rented and would definitely rent again!

Amazing stay at The Landing

We were only there for 3 days. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative, so we mostly stayed inside and enjoyed the home. Super spacious, very comfortable beds and amazing views. We did a little fishing off the dock, which was fun. I can't even imagine how incredible this rental would be in the summer! 5 out of 5 stars, a lot of amenities, communication was fast and always very helpful (we had a lot of questions).

Fun Stay

Everyone in our group had a great time. The directions from Apple users were spot on. Other gps/map users had a difficult time navigating to the house. It was extremely windy the first couple days we were there and it made the water very choppy. After the wind calmed down the water was great! There are some massive fish that like to hang out in the shallow area by the dock. The kids loved the Lilly pad! Would recommend this stay!

Family reunion and birthday celebration

We decided to surprise my parents with a trip to celebrate their 60th birthdays. The location was central to all of us and proved to be a great location to hike, swim, fish and unwind. The house was clean, check in was easy, the hosts were quick to reply and the location was close to a state park. The dock kept the kids (ages 13-2) happy, they must have dived off the end at least 2000 times over the weekend. The fire pit was a great place to hang out in the evening and the Treager grill made for great cooking. All in all: would recommend.

Family trip to Ozarks!

Family had a great time at Matt & Kristen’s place! House has good layout especially with multiple families and kids, allowed everyone to separate and spread out when needed but still gather in the living room and kitchen area. Basement layout was perfect for familiar with young kid to get away and nap. Amenities on the dock were great and got a lot of use by all. Water can be on the rough side relative to homes with docks that sit further back on coves. This was less of an issue for swimming off the dock and more with our boat - make sure you have several, large bumpers if bringing your own boat and want to prevent damage while in the slip.

Wonderfully lake vacation

It was a bit confusing to get to the house once in the neighborhood because of how gps directs you, but a quick look in the map and we figure it out. The house was beautiful, full of water sport equipment just as described, Lilly pad, kayaks, paddle board and plenty of life vests for all the kids. We were 3 families, 13 people in total and had plenty of space, chairs , towels etc ( bring your own beach towels) . Our children were in ther water constantly enjoying all the equipment the house provided. They all were so happy and had the beat time ever. Thank you ton Matt for sharing this wonderful home with us. Our kiddos are already asking to go back :-)

Lovely lakeside retreat

Located on a quiet part of the lake, with excellent outdoor amenities ( well-stocked dock, great kayaks, numerous decks to choose from). Far from good grocery stores though -- stock up on your way in. The few local options are small with very limited selection and questionable cleanliness.

Really loved it but we brought arepontoin & Jet ski and would be nice if you put a jet ski drive on close to your dock. Our ski got roughed up in water for four nights. The only thing in kitchen I wanted was an electric hand mixer. Loved the rooms but we had room next to kitchen & mattress doesn’t fit bed very well & maybe get a mattress that fits . But other then that was very nice. The one bathroom close to kitchen kept clogging up toilet. Loved being at Ozarks 😃👍

Great getaway at the Lake

Great views of the Lake, especially in the evening from the decks! Great neighborhood, just a few miles to the store and local restaurants. Plenty of space for everyone. Great kitchen for cooking, missing some forks but otherwise wonderful for cooking big meals for the crew. There were a few things on arrival we communicated to owners to make them aware - dishwasher was full, some doors to bathrooms did not lock, a few cleaning issues but nothing to take away from the stay. It was a wonderful week getaway!

40th Ruby Anniversary Celebration

Matthew and Kristin Jacobs are, by far, the best hosts we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Their home was perfect, clean, well appointed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It fit comfortably, our Brood of 19, including areas for 2 families, 1 with 2 teenagers and one with an infant and a toddler, 4 single children and their significant others, and my husband and I. They were so attentive, immediately responded to coffee pot issue! The views were heavenly, the lake a perfect temperature and the dock stocked with every kind of lake fun. I would recommend this place anytime!

Pros: Great host communication and problem resolution. Spacious lower level. Nice multi-level deck. Water mat/kayaks included. Generally clean from previous users Cons: Next to B&B Dock repair. Attic fan needs to be operational again; went to Menards to buy a box fan for kids sleeping upstairs. Upstairs tub handle not working; was not able to use so had to share mid level shower. Several dock boards are rotting and are close to having a foot go thru them 4 stars for location due to B&B Dock Repair Was going to give 4 stars for overall rating due to attic fan and dock boards but your quick resolution with the A/C deserved 5 star overall rating

We live in Chicago but we have always dreamed of owning a lake house. We have been using VRBO for many years while traveling, and we love sharing this wonderful home with people looking to relax and spend time in a clean and comfortable setting.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We fell in love with this property because it was meticulously maintained and cared for and we intend to do the same. There are many places to gather and also to relax or get some work done in private. But the best thing about this place is the view! One of the few areas on the lake that is very wide and looks out upon pure nature views and not other peoples houses. Also the dock and fire pit area are great for entertaining.
