If you are searching for a peaceful setting to get away for a week or a month (or longer), look no farther.

Located in private Giants Neck Beach Association, this nicely updated home features direct views of the bay and Long Island Sound. There is a large deck overlooking the water. You will have access to the Association beaches and there is even a smaller, more private beach right across the street. Enjoy the use of our kayaks and venture out into the bay.

High speed internet with Wifi and and TV with an expansive channel selection is provided at no extra charge.

Our home offers enough room for an extended family, with three bedrooms: One oversized master with a queen sized bed and a nook for a baby crib or small cot or air mattress; one guest bedroom with a comfy double bed; and a third bedroom with two twin beds.

Two full baths ensure that nobody is waiting too long to shower in the morning. The dining area (overlooking the bay and LI Sound) seats up to ten, plus three more at the kitchen counter island.

Modern appliances, including a full sized fridge, stove/range, microwave, and Keurig machine make dining in very convenient.

Perfect location across from the beach

This house was in the perfect location to enjoy Rocky Neck Beach and the surrounding area. We travel as a family of 6 and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the house and the area. The house was well equipped and cleanly.

Giants Neck Beach House

A lovely beach house with terrific views. We had fun biking around Giants Neck and Rocky Neck State Park and enjoyed the beach just across from the house. We hope to return next summer!

I’ll sum up our stay at this house by simply saying we didn’t want to leave. The house is in a great location looking down at a private beach with amazing views of the Sound all the way across to Long Island. The house is clean and comfortable, communication with the owners was easy and Peter was quick to respond, check-in was easy, and did I mention the views from the living/dining room were amazing. We spent every meal looking out over the beach and water and loved it. The neighborhood is filled with charming, older cottages/homes and we had daily walks around the friendly, quiet streets. I would recommend this rental to family and friends without hesitation.

Relaxation at its best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Niantic property. The house was very clean & the owner was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with the ocean view, walking across the street to enjoy the private beach, using the kayaks & morning/evening walks along Rocky Neck beach. A very relaxing spot!

Always a Great Stay

My wife and I were alone for the first week and our daughter and her family joined us for a few days. All of us had a great time and the weather was perfect. During our stay we had a few questions and Peter addressed them within minutes. He was more than accommodating. We are looking forward toward our next visit.

Our week at Giants Neck Beach

We chose this house so we could be right on the water. The views from the house were beautiful and the whole area is very nice. We were fortunate to have good weather. The property owner was very helpful. A very enjoyable and relaxing week. Thank you!

Beautiful location, beautiful home

The home was easily accessible from the highway yet secluded. The ocean views were breathtaking. The owners attention to detail was remarkable. The house was clean and well stocked with necessities, and incidentals. The owner was thoughtful, and the access to the property was direct and simple. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the area. Rocky Neck State Park was close by and the local food was great. We will enjoy this property again.

Summer’s End

My husband and I enjoyed two relaxing weeks at Giant’s Neck. The weather was perfect for mid September and the accommodations were outstanding. The view overlooking the bay is breathtaking early in the morning with coffee on the deck and sunsets are equally as breathtaking in the evening on the deck with a glass of wine. We enjoyed leisurely walking the neighborhood as well as the Assoication beach and Rocky Neck. What a great location to recharge and reconnect. We look forward to next year at Giant’s Neck.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views and a great private beach

the cottage is beautiful and the main bedroom has fantastic views of the Long Island Sound. Waking up with that view and the sound of the waves was great. It was also nice relaxing out on the porch feeling the sea breeze. there is a small private beach that is right across the street, during the week we had it all to ourselves and it wasn't very crowded on the weekend either. The beach has a fantastic low tide with many sandbars, great for kids and kids at heart. There are quite a few stairs to get to the cottage and also to get down to the private beach, but it wasn't too bad once you got used to it. The cottage was very clean and Peter is a great host who was very responsive whenever we needed him.

My review

Such a beautiful place. My favorites were the spacious outside deck and furniture, the kitchen and utensils, the bathrooms with showers on both floors, the views. AC ,great indoor eating area. AND that great outdoor shower. So handy ( hot and cold) What was very hard for my husband and me (74 yrs old) were all the stairs . For us it was too hard. I was also fearful of the street when my yound grandchildren were crossing with their parents. Some cars traveled around the bend much too fast. But everyone had a wonderful time.

Gem on the Sound

Nestled into a quiet neighborhood, this gem of a vacation home is located directly across from a small private beach and just down the road from Rocky Neck State Park. The home was perfect and so was the weather which added to our enjoyment. The home is both well appointed and comfortable including the beds. It is clear that the owner takes pride in the premises. Arrival information was clear and communication with the owner was both prompt and cordial. There was a nice touch of a welcome gift upon our arrival which was further evidence of how inviting the owner was. Everything was clean, kitchen was well stocked, basic paper products were provided. and the large windows overlooking Long Island Sound allowed for great views in every direction. The home was perfect for our party of five adults in the three upstairs bedrooms. Two full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs made for easy negotiation of showers etc. Ceiling fans in every room added to the comfort level on sunny warm afternoons. A large deck was terrific for lounging and evening stargazing. Would highly recommend this property and kudos to the owner.

September on the Sound

The house was clean, well maintained and fully equipped. The huge deck was perfect to enjoy meals, relax in the sun, and enjoy the sun set over Long Island Sound. We appreciated the easy access to the private and association beaches as well as Rocky Neck. Peter answered our communications promptly and cordially. A lovely welcome gift awaited us upon our arrival. This further illustrated the owners’ hospitality and care. Our experience was so enjoyable, we have already booked for the 2023 season! Great Experience

Wonderful birthday vacation. Easy seamless arrival with clear entry instructions. This is a beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable home. The host communicated with me well and made my family feel welcome and comfortable. The deck has plenty of space and the view is spectacular! The private beach is beautiful and the location is minutes from town and the board walk. Highly recommend this rental for any family.

A great week!

Peter’s place at the shore is lovely. The view of the ocean from the dining area is spectacular. The private beach is small but nice. You also have access to Rocky Neck State Park also. (Great walk into the water, no rocks). Plenty of hot water, great water pressure and the laundry room is a bonus. When we arrived Peter was doing his best to solve a (small) problem. Kitchen floor plan is very open and refrigerator was very clean; no need to clean before placing my items in. Overall a very memorable vacation.

Great location, okay house

Great location...in addition to small beach across the street there is a larger beach one block away along with Rocky Neck State Park. Nice community to walk. The house is exactly as described and in photos...new kitchen, fully a/c, great views...what we learned when we arrived was less impressive...it was clean but not really clean (trash can in bathroom not emptied, crumbs on kitchen counter under appliances, moldy shower curtain), musty smell in entire house (I think some of this comes from A/C units which look like they need to be cleaned/new filters, and the very musty boat room and craw space on the ground floor). So in summary...host was great about communications, great location, if you are used to musty beach homes you might find this place to be really nice.

We were a bit surprised to read this review. We are sorry that the house did not meet your personal expectations, but think that some of your comments are off. First, I should mention that we have already had three of our guests from this summer re-book for next year. But, taking your comments into account, we have implemented some corrective measures. 1) we already use a professional cleaning service between guests. I’ve watched them work and they are excellent. We have asked them to make sure that they are more on point, for example, that they look under the toaster to remove any stray crumbs. The toaster has a trap door in the bottom to allow for removing crumbs, so when you move the toaster (for example, to look for crumbs underneath), well, crumbs in the toaster could fall out. 2) we have asked them to make sure that they spray and wipe the shower curtain liner. We normally replace the liner every month or so anyway, and we also keep a spare in the bathroom closet for when it needs replacement. There are actually two of them in there right now... 3) We purchased a fairly high-end air cleaner for the main floor. The air quality meter on it consistently reads 98-100%. We appreciate the constructive feedback, but your comment about the mustiness of the boat room is a little, ’ je ne sais quoi’ : the boat room is separate from the living area of the house. It is part of the crawl space underneath the house. The kayaks, life preservers, and beach gear are stored there. Many of those items are wet and sandy when put away. I am not sure what you expect from a boat room unless you are planning to hang out in there. There are much better views from up on the deck.

Heaven At The Shore

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful Giants Neck home. Views are incredible overlooking Long Island Sound. Huge deck was great to view stars in the evenings. You just walk down staircase, cross street and your at the private beach. Owners provided two kayaks and beach accessories for renters use. Family had loads of fun exploring nearby island via kayaks. Swimming was wonderful and with all the sandbars safe for children. Home was perfect for my family having three bedrooms and two full baths and an outdoor shower. Planning a return trip next year.

Beautiful Water View + Relaxation = Great Vacation

Very clean and comfortable. The best part was the good sized deck and the beautiful view of the water. This was the most relaxing part of the vacation. The main living area is nice and comfy and kitchen has everything you need to make some good meals. Also has fantastic views of the the beach and water from this level of the house. Queen bedroom also had this awesome view. Would love it if they had laundry service, had to bring our own bedding. The area is very nice. Would definitely stay again.

So perfect!

Wow! Amazing house. So perfect. My extended family lives in CT and RI and we need a central place for "home base." This house was perfect for my husband and I, our daughter (20 months) and son (6 months). Could have held a lot more people. Porch is the best part! Great for cookouts and coffee watching the waves. The private beach was also incredible, at low tide you could walk out really far. The kids had a blast. Can't wait to book "our house" again for this year.

We look forward our restful nights in the master bedroom, the sound of the lapping waves lulling us into a relaxing sleep. We are energized by the views of the waves in the bay as we eat breakfast. And cocktails on the oversized deck as the sun sets are the perfect cap to a day spent in the sun.
