Upon arrival you'll be greeted by the brand new remodeled kitchen and original refinished hardwood floors. The quaint sitting area is perfect for taking a break from the days activities. Two private bedrooms with new comfortable bedding (1 king, 1 queen) and a common area complete with poker table make this a fun, comfortable place for everyone.

Welcome to the Highlands! Louisville's most vibrant neighborhood is buzzing with local restaurants, micro-breweries, boutiques, and shops. Just 10 minutes from historical Churchill Downs and Downtown Louisville. Walking distance to several great bars and restaurants.

This NEWLY RENOVATED 2 Bed 1 Bath unit is located on the second floor of a duplex. The bottom unit is utilized as a long term rental. This space is perfect for small groups, couples, or business travelers. Upon arrival you'll be greeted by the brand new modern kitchen and refinished hardwood floors. The quaint sitting area is perfect for taking a break from the days activities. Two private bedrooms with new comfortable bedding (1 king, 1 queen) and a brand new modern bathroom make this loft the perfect space for a trip to Louisville.

Interaction is minimal. Guest check themselves in. Professional management staff is available for any needs during the stay.

Trendy neighborhood with a large variety of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, bars, etc. The best location in Louisville.

Neighborhood is walkable. Lyft or Uber can get you pretty much anywhere you want to go in Louisville for $25 or less (normal rates) but be prepared to pay increased rates Derby weekend. Rentable scooters available in the area.

Space is located above another unit. Please be courteous and mindful of noise levels during your stay.

RENTAL AGREEMENT/REQUEST FOR CONTACT INFORMATION: In accordance with booking platform policy and local regulations, guests are required to provide contact information and sign all Rental Agreements within 24 hours of booking. If guests do not complete or refuse to sign the rental agreement, host reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty and the cancellation policy will still apply.

WIFI: All guests will be asked to enter email and phone number in order to access the free WiFi at this location. Contact confirmation is optional. In accordance with booking platform policy, we use apps to facilitate our guest experience and these apps may request contact information before, during, and after your confirmed stay.

KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.

RECORDING DEVICES: Recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. Devices record audio and video and recordings are triggered by motion. Devices will be active during guests stay. Recording devices only capture views of the exterior. Guest safety and privacy are top priorities. These recording devices exist solely for the safety and security of our great guests!

NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home

CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The host may not be available to assist with any check in issues between 10 pm and 9 am EST

NUMBER OF GUESTS WE HOST: We expect to only host the number of people on your reservation only. For insurance and safety purposes, please make sure your reservation reflects the accurate number of people. Otherwise you may be subject to a fee and you may be asked to leave.

NOISE LEVELS: Please be mindful of noise levels at all times and be respectful of neighbors by adhering to the quiet hours.

PARTIES/EVENTS: Absolutely no parties or events are allowed without written approval from the host prior to check in.

We had a wonderful stay during Derby Weekend. The home was in a wonderful neighborhood with walkable coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Transportation to downtown and Churchill Downs was a breeze.

This was our second stay at this property. It’s location provided easy access to nearby retailers and to the parking areas for the Derby. It also offered off-street parking and a quiet neighborhood.

Nice little upstairs unit! Clean, great neighborhood centrally located with plenty of food choices within walking distance. Communication with host was always handled punctually. Would definitely stay here again.

Moms weekend away!

This property is in a beautiful, safe area of Louisville. It’s walking distance to a ton of things and a short Uber ride to others. Communication was with the owner was great! Very clean. Would definitely come back!

Great Space and Fantastic Location!

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful stay here while up to visit our daughter who is a student at U of L. This is a fantastic space with everything you need in our favorite Louisville neighborhood! Great food just two blocks away, plus fun shopping, coffee, more restaurants, and much more just down the street. There’s also a Kroger less than 5 minutes away. We’ll definitely be back for a repeat stay!

Consistently Excellent - returning customer

I am a returning customer, having stayed at one of the Bourbon Rentals residences three times since September, and I am back in a month for my fourth stay. That is testament to the consistent quality of the service from Brandon and Kayla at Bourbon Rentals. Each time, they have been welcoming, organized, quick to respond and they go out of their way to ensure each stay is as comfortable as possible. In a word, professional. Great stay...

My husband and I along with our adult granddaughter stayed for 5 nights at the apartment. We really like the space and the neighborhood. Even though we were on the go much of the time we could appreciate all it had to offer. The apartment was comfortable and pretty well furnished. The laundry available was OK,, but luckily I brought my own detergent. Still, it was good to have a washer/dryer available as we were halfway through our trip. We would stay again.

The photos make this property look much nicer than it is. It is a old home and not very esthetically pleasing (blinds broken, chain to lock bathroom door, little decor, thin walls - could hear tenant below, etc.) A little TLC and it could be a warm/inviting space. Bathroom is small but the other rooms are good size. Listing advised 2 parking spaces but 2 of the 3 were blocked off repairing a pothole and the other one was taken. Directions to lock/unlock home weren't very clear (you had to do more than just enter the code). We found this out the hard way when trying to get back in. Mgmt says text first then call...we had to call and it said the number only accepted texts, so that didn't work well. Thought we were going to be sleeping in our car. That crisis was adverted. But, the last night the tenant's dog below was left outside and barking for a good hour in the middle of the night. No sleep for us. Overall I was disappointed with this place. But, I will say the kitchen was well equipped and there were ample towels and amenities. It is within walking distance to coffee, a few restaurants, etc. In general it was pretty clean. The managment did respond via text within an hour. Maybe a 6/10 rating. Not terrible, but we wouldn't come back.

The sheets kept coming off the mattress. I think it is because of the waterproof mattress cover.
