Beautiful Historic building built in 1927. Spencer's place is a charming and unique gem located 1 block from The Shoppes of Avondale. There are 46 bars ,restaurants,and shopping within walking distance. Our location offers amenities for young professionals traveling for work , fun couples weekend , or a perfect getaway for family time. Avondale is notable for fabulous dining , antique shopping , parks, fun bars and trendy boutiques . Our culinary scene is on the national map.

The space
Enchanting restored apartment with only 6 units total located in the heart of Avondale. Our space has a front and back private entrance . The neighbors are quiet and peaceful. There is private parking for our guests and you also have the option to side street park. Our unit is 1 bedroom with a king-size bed with a full kitchen, living and dining room area. The couch does fold out to a bed for additional guests. You will love the historic and cozy feel of the home along with the appealing design .

We had a great stay here and highly recommend it. It is super cute and cozy with great style that's full of character. It was conveniently located to everything and easy to find. Parking was also convenient and located on-site. We will definitely be back!

Cutest One Night Stay,

We were in town for a concert and it was a short ride to VyStar Veteran's Memorial Arena. Absolutely loved everything about the one bedroom. Will definitely book again if we go back to Jacksonville.

The place was just right for the two of us

It was a quick trip just two nights. Place was just as listed with great charm. We ate out so can't review the kitchen but seems to have everything needed. Thanks for letting us share your house. Great neighborhood very walkable.

Great location/Cute

We loved the place, great location and very cute apartment. Would stay there again. Only suggestion was maybe a chest drawer in the bedroom or more hangers in the closet to get the clothes out of the suitcase. Most likely back in June.

Weekend stay

The apartment was cozy, clean and near great restaurants & shops. I enjoyed running through the quiet neighborhoods and looking at the beautiful homes & scenery. We were there for a jazz festival near the river and the apartment was only about 3 miles from the area! Our only hiccup was figuring out the keypad to the door. Sometimes it took several times to lock. Regardless, we highly recommend this apartment.

Super comfortable and confident

The apartment was very clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Jacksonville. Great restaurants within walking distance and we felt very safe walking everywhere. Bed and furniture were all comfortable. We hope to be back soon.

I felt like a Single girl again!

What a lovely property in a charming neighborhood! St. John Street with all the shops and restaurants you could possibly want was only a one-block walk away! The bed was so comfy and the area so quiet that I slept well through both nights of my stay. The only criticism I had was in the small bathroom Either replace the glass shelf over the sink and/or provide a small table/organizer to store toiletries for easy access. Great stay, great neighborhood, great apartment, and great place too!

Fabulous Avondale stay!

I have loved this attractive building for the 5 years my daughter has lived down the street! Finding a King bed on VrBO is difficult so we will be renting this again and again!

I have stayed here several times when visiting on business. Each time, the home is clean comfortable and convenient. Easy and safe walk to dinner and 5 minutes from my work. Theresa is awesome and very responsive. I will stay here again!

Very nice place

This was the cutest place in the nicest neighborhood. Very clean and well put together. The only draw back the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything and they were doing renovations that we weren’t aware of so people started doing construction practically on the back porch early in the morning and we had no idea this was happening. Also the washing machine and dryer is coin based which can be misleading.

Long weekend visit

The property was exactly as listed. The space was so comfortable and decorated so nicely. The hosts had so many nice touches like throw blankets, snacks, coffee and fabulous towels. The location could not have been better! We enjoyed that we could walk to the shops and restaurants. We were very pleased.

My boyfriend and I spent a week at this adorable little place, which quickly became our “home away from home”. We were delighted at all the small and thoughtful touches, from the basket of snacks in the kitchen, to the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the bathroom, and even to the little Ghirardelli chocolate placed upon the basket of clean towels. I was very happy to discover a hair dryer for guest use, which came in very handy since I forgot to bring mine! There were also plenty of thoughtful amenities in the kitchen which we used throughout the week
.pots and pans, dishes, utensils, food storage containers, hand soap, dish soap, sugar, tea packets, and extra garbage bags. There were even a few laundry detergent pods, scent crystals, and fabric softener sheets available! The building itself was very quiet, as was the neighborhood. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and we would move there in a heartbeat if we could afford it! 😊 There are lovely restaurants, shops, and bakeries within a short walking distance and we had a very nice time exploring the area. Neither of us wanted to leave our darling little place and we cannot wait to come back. Theresa was very responsive and very kind and I thank her for making our stay a most memorable one!

Great location and apartment

Manager Theresa was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. The place was beautiful and they even left toiletries and snacks!!! I would definitely stay there again!!
