I agree with the other review that isn't sure where all the rave reviews came from. It provided us a place to stay but wasn't anything special. Pro: close to everything downtown, easy access, had coffeeCon: you hear everything upstairs (be prepared for an early wake up even with a loud sound machine), the curtains are see through, doors don't fully shut as the house is old, limited outlets to charge your phoneThe photos make it seem like there is more space because they have new and old photos. The sitting room with the piano is the 3rd bed room. It provided us a place to stay.

The rental was very nice, clean and beds we comfortable, the only complaint I would have is the coffee pot was really dirty. The maker and the pot itself, so I had to scrub it before I could use it, but there was plenty of cleaning supplies. We loved the front porch with the park across the street. Great place do people watch. And when we sat on the front porch and closed the door we kept getting locked out, no screen door so flies got in because we had to leave the door cracked.

Needs a lot of work

The home needs a lot of updates. The bathroom walls had cracks and there was no water pressure and only luke warm water in the shower and sink. The bedrooms had sheer type drapes and you could see outside and inside with the homes right next to each other. The kitchen cabinets were greasy, the freezer had lots of food in it mostly expired. The cabinets had lots of can goods and spices that were expired. Some cabinets did not close completely. There was a pet food dish in one cabinet. The TV in the living room did not work great.We personally found the beds to be a little hard.The living room couches were quite worn. We had problems with the lock on the front door. On the positive side, Michelle did respond when we attempted to get the TV working. The house needs some care and updating. It was not worth what we paid when you include the fees. We go by prior reviews sorry to say this place was nowhere like the reviews.

Communication with Michelle was very good and easy. Entry into the home was quick with the electronic lock - be sure to lift up on the handle after entering code. Loved the front porch overlooking the park. Beds were comfortable tho could use a fan in the primary bedroom as it got very warm at night. Both of the sink faucets water pressure was quite low but shower was fine. The home is a little outdated but is reasonable price and the location for us was good.

This area of Grand Rapids is convenient for the traveler or if a loved one is in the hospital. We are located next to the Medical Mile and short walk to the downtown area. Our biggest draw is Coit Park across the street from the property

Its comfortable, convenient lodging at affordable pricing in the heart of Grand Rapids. Its located next to I-196 (easy on/off) for the traveler.
