Overlook the surf and sand from this ninth-floor oceanfront condo! An easy one-level layout, this resort retreat features a living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with a Keurig machine, a full hallway bathroom, and two bedrooms, including the primary suite. The second bedroom features a king bed with two twin trundles underneath. Extra perks include central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, three TVs, three DVDs, access to a beach locker, a keyless lock, and WiFi.

THINGS TO KNOW
A new sofa has been installed in the condo in summer 2022.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Great complex on the beach,

Loved the compels, stunning views from the balcony. Short walk to the beach. Great security. Numerous great places to eat nearby. Great number of lifeguards who actually were watching and helping people. At one point my wife and I needed help exiting the ocean and the guard lept off his stand and helped us up. Wish I had his name. Overall great complex and had a great time, but wouldn’t rent this unit again until they fully remodel and make it worth the premium price!

Pretty good

The carpet, bedspread, and furniture issues from previous posts seem to have been addressed. The place had some relatively new enhancements and was pleasant and comfortable. While it didn’t necessarily bother us, others should be aware that a part of the ceiling is open when you first walk in, and an entire piece of the wall is missing in the master bath.

We absolutely LOVED this condo. The pictures online matched the condo exactly. It actually had more space than we thought from the pictures. The condo was extremely clean and the views were I CREDIBLE. We were so happy with our stay and 100% plan on booking again for next year! The only complaint would be the wifi and TVs. The wifi did not work in the back room nor did the TV. So if you are banking on working or doing any type of school work, i would check to see that the wifi router has been upgraded. We had such a great experience. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. We had no issues and will be coming back again!

House Needs Work, Vacasa Not So Good

Condo is typical Sea Colony East rental, great parking spot, good central location. Half of the lights are not working and was reported to Vacasa (we are sending someone...yeah, sure you are). Cleaning should have been better: there was hair covering the main shower and a wet sponge was left in the refrigerator. Vacasa, to their credit, offered to send someone over but we cleaned it ourselves. Overall, as the cheapest unit we could find we would stay here again for the price, but just know what you are getting: basic and affordable, and poor rental management.

The lock is seriously tricky, sometimes the key will turn and others it will not turn at all. It is really unclear who to call when there is a problem, there seems to be no on site help at Sea Colony and Vacasa seems to have no idea. The lock seems to be set up with a code that would be much easier to use, but is not available to the renter. One other trick, the coffee maker will only work if you press down on the lid. But the location is really great and the amenities are very nice, and the unit is spacious. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is very nice also.

Perfect for 2 couples, plenty of privacy, gorgeous ocean view and ample space for a big family to gather. As was said in other reviews, the carpet and furniture, shower caulking and faucets need replacement. When we arrived the bed linens had not been changed and there were no towels. Vacasa did not respond to a request to repair the toilet paper holder that had come out of the wall.

Disappointing

Location, location, location; however, I found that maintenance and cleaning of the unit to be below expectations. I also found the carpet to be in desperate need of replacing and the borders/caulking of both tubs to be absolutely abysmal.

More spacious than some units, with two “private baths” good for older couples. The sofa really should be replaced. It appears that the cover has been cleaned which has made the cover a little crusty and the cushions harder than they should be. The living room slider onto the balcony is difficult to operate. On a positive note, the kitchen is better equipped than any rental unit I’ve ever used. Asking to move dates by two days (not adding days) would have added over $350 to the total rental cost. Excessive, especially at the end of September.

Enjoyed our stay and would come again. It would be good to replace the couch in the living room but other than that it was good.

We loved this condo - the view was spectacular and the interior was clean and comfortable. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the couch could perhaps replacing or reupholstering, but that was the only (tiny) issue and it definitely didn't impact our enjoyment.
