Welcome to our highly sought after Palmetto Dunes Villa, located directly on the world-famous 11-mile lagoon. You'll find yourself on the beach in just 5 minutes and the pool in just 1 minute. Palmetto Dunes boasts 3 miles of amazingly beautiful oceanfront beach, and this condo provides unparalleled access.

Living Spaces:
The airy, coastal living room features plenty of comfortable seating and views of the deck and lagoon. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal with plenty of bar and table seating.

Accommodations:
The primary bedroom is on the first floor and features a queen bed and a sliding door to the balcony. The second floor bedroom has a king bed and a bunk bed, perfect for families with kids. Its en suite bathroom features a tub and shower combo. The third bedroom has 2 full beds and a sliding door to the balcony.

Sibling weekend

We come to Hilton Head to visit our parents. The property is exactly like the pictures. Bedrooms are large and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped.

Extended Family Vacation

This is a great property with close beach access and plenty of space for our family with three bedrooms, one updated bathroom, and bunk beds for the kids. Areas of improvement are very thin/cheap mattresses and couches in need of deep cleaning.

Great place for a vacation!

Our stay in Palmetto Dune was great. The villa is very nice with a lot of space for 4 adults and 3 kids. It is right on the canal and a short (5-minute) walk to the beach, with a neighborhood pool right outside the front door. The tennis courts and general store are also about a 5-minute walk away. The house had all of the amenities we needed, including good wifi, a good tv set up, a grill, and the kitchen utensils that we needed. Overall Palmetto Dunes is a great community and place for a beach vacation, and the surrounding Hilton Head area has much to offer.

Wonderful property, just not clean.

Overall the home is wonderful, the location is great, and the rental property company was very responsive. When we arrived, there was trash in bathroom trash cans, hair in the showers and in the bathrooms, and the bed linens were not laundered appropriately. The rental company did send someone to change the bed linens, but we cleaned the rest of the home ourselves.

Premier location for the price

Lovely view of the lagoon. Easy access to the beach path. Liked that it was inside the guarded gate. Was able to park right in front of the unit. Checkin was smooth and communication was top notch. Well appointed kitchen. I missed the condiments on the counter until the last day. Oops. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable but maybe that’s personal preference. Would have loved for puzzles and games for a rainy day but we found our way to the dollar store to pick up some entertainment. Would love to return

Quiet location, with nice views, but very tired, dirty, and disorganized.

Carpets are soiled, and sand everywhere. Layer of dust, and grime throughout. The three of us spent the first afternoon cleaning, and sanitizing (Covid-19 perceptive). Pretty pathetic after the $200 "cleaning" fee. Would appreciate being reimbursed. The grill lit up in a ball of flames, the base is filled with grease, too dangerous to use. There is much more......... Bottom line - the three of us paid a lot of money for such a lack of attention to details.

Great location

Plenty of space for the 6 of us and a great location close to the beach. Overall we were very happy with the place and would stay here again. Areas for improvement would be the kitchen cookware needs to be replaced and the cleaners could do a better job preparing for a new arrival (there were crumbs and sand everywhere).

Great location to the beach, lagoon and pool

We enjoyed our stay at this villa, which is located on the lagoon. The location can not be beat! We had a short 5 minute walk to the beach path. The private beach was a huge bonus! It was so nice that the beach was not crowded (even though it was peak season). The villa lacked some of the essential kitchen items- could use new skillets. The appliances were a bit out dated and could used to be replaced. We enjoyed having a deck off of each bedroom and each bedroom having their own bathroom. The pull out sofa bed was a surprise and was helpful. This villa slept 9 comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the swimming pool and how close it is to the villa. It was very refreshing after a day at the beach. There was an abundance of beach towels available to use, which I appreciated as I never had to unpack our beach towels. The floors needed a good cleaning when we arrived, but other than that the villa was clean.

Fantastic location. Quick walk to beach, restaurant and general store. Just a few minutes by car to Cologny shopping area. Close to grocery stores. Would rent in Palmetto Dunes again.

Tennis Tournament

The villa was perfect for our 4 day tennis tournament. The biggest advantages of this villa are having a bathroom attached to each bedroom as well as a separate thermostat for each bedroom. Everything was as expected, given the details on the VRBO listing. However, what set this rental apart from others we've used was not anything at the villa itself, but Darcey and Debra at the property management company. First, they allowed us a late checkout on Monday, due to rainy weather backing up all the matches. Second, one of us forgot a pair of shorts in the dryer and they mailed them to the owner. Definitely will seek this rental out again when given the opportunity to be in Hilton Head.
