CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITIES NOW OPEN!

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. Amenities remain open and fully available for guest use aside from the splash pad.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. We want to ensure you're informed in advance so you can plan your stay accordingly.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

Parking in the main lot may be limited, especially after hours. Each one- and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

SunDestin Beach Resort is directly on the Emerald Coast and is sure to be the place for many vacation memories for everyone. With a 24 hour on-site desk, the Scenic Stays team is always available.

SunDestin Beach Resort features onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, an indoor pool (heated seasonally), outdoor hot tub, fitness center, gift shop, and steam room! Additional seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, splash pad and beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee). This resort offers the perfect setting for a great Destin vacation.

Enter SunDestin Unit 1416 and immediately you’re greeted by a view of the Gulf of Mexico in the open concept living space. An updated, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances offers plenty of room to make dinner after a day of exploring the Destin area. The kitchen overlooks the dining area, with seating for four, then flows to the living room with floor to ceiling windows bringing the outside in. The large balcony can be accessed from both the living room and bedroom and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

This one-bedroom Destin vacation rental offers sleeping for up to four guests with the bedroom featuring a large king bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living area along with one full and one half bathroom for added convenience.

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

What?

Kyle is such an asset to the team. Follows through and gets things done. Was upset when we got the call just before thanksgiving that we didn’t have the condo we were supposed to get because of the construction, just a lot of loose ends and having to move after 1 month. Put a sour taste in our mouth. The people make it and we will be back when construction is finished as my husband has bad allergies and can’t handle the dust and I think the noise is a bit much.

Wonderful room, but needs a better mattress

This was our 2nd stay at Sundestin and it was just as enjoyable as the last. Our only complaint about this room is the mattress needs to be updated/replaced. The matress wasn't the softest but we managed. Everything else about our room was great. The staff at Sundestin are always friendly and helpful. The view from our room was great and I love being able to walk out onto the balcony from the bedroom.

Our stay was great!

You know how you’re sometimes hesitant about a vacation stay? Well I was but once I arrived all worries were gone! Check in went smooth and fast, our room was perfectly designed, the location was the BEST! Everything was great. We stayed for 4 nights and literally had no issues. We went in & out as we pleased. Always had somewhere to park, walking access to the beach was my favorite part. The location is literally in the middle of everything!! Anytime I travel to Destin this is where I’m staying no doubts about it. Book through them and no where else! Thank you!

location was good but some issues to take note of

We paid over $3k to stay in a one bedroom condo for 5 nights. This was our fourth year in a row visiting. We typically pay half this rate but desperately needed the vacation as my mother recently passed. Overall, location was great and the resort was very clean. Our condo did not have WIFI. We reported this and were told to connect to someone else's nearby if we could get a strong enough signal. We also noticed a strong sewer like smell checking in but weren’t sure where is was coming from until we showered. The only tub we had didn’t drain so when we showered, nasty water backed up and we stood in it for days while showering. That’s when we figured out where the smell was coming from. It was pretty bad. We were told there was no maintenance offered at check in, so we didn’t report it for 2 days until we couldn’t take it anymore. They said they’d send someone up. I think someone came by but it made little difference. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed. Be sure to bring a hair dryer as this is not provided in the condo. I’d also bring a blanket if you’re used to sleeping with one as we do at home. Only sheets are provided and we were cold. Had to venture out to buy a blanket for our stay. Lastly, plan to rent an umbrella on the beach. We have always brought our own with no issues as I have had numerous surgeries for skin cancer. Sadly, we were told we couldn’t use our own umbrella and had to endure the first full day at the beach with direct sun until arrangements could be made to rent one. All in all it was a nice stay and would consider going back now that we know what changes need to be made. However, there needs to be some items corrected for future renters.
