Short walk to private deeded beach (300 yards) and minutes to Rosemary Beach Hub to the East and Seaside to the West. King sized bed in master with 2 double beds in guest and a couch in the living room that makes sleeping 6-8 a breeze. The cottage was perfect! It was clean and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. I loved having such easy access to the pool. It was also very convenient to have a parking spot. The area was great and loved the access to bike paths. This made it easy to get to local restaurants and shops. The only drawback is the walk to the beach. I wish there was a path directly across the street. But the walk is only a few minutes and easy to get to.

The cottage and property were lovely. The pool right outside the back door was very convenient. The back porch with trees that provided shade made morning and evening sitting enjoyable. The beach access was a little further than we anticipated and was a downside because we are such beach people. Very enjoyable stay.

Awesome location and cottage. Location to beach and towns along 30A was perfect. We were a short drive or bike ride from all areas. The cottage itself was clean and nice.Everything provided for a beach stay. Loved having the pool out our back door. Pool was empty alot of the time. Deck on this property seems larger than most. Rocking chairs on deck were great along with other seating. Beach buggy for chairs and beach stuff provided but we didnt use it. The walk was shorter then I thought. Approx 5 mins to beach entrance so we carried our bag. Overall fantastic location and great cottage! We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect stay! Our cottage was quaint, cozy, and toddler-friendly with a walk-out straight to the pool. A quick stroll to the beach and just minutes from Alys & Rosemary—right in the heart of 30A. So peaceful and serene we extended our trip another night. Can’t wait to come back!

Unexpected post stay charges

Our stay at the property was overall nice and the location worked well for our trip. We enjoyed our time there.However, after our departure, the host sent photos of various items — upholstered chairs, tile flooring, a wood table, and a wood chair. The tile and wood table showed what looked like a tiny piece of dried strawberry, the wood chair was said to be broken because a screw had fallen out, and the 2 upholstered chairs had light yellow spots that almost looked to be shadows, with one also having small red dots. While we were there, the microwave door over the oven would not close and I let him know immediately. The host said he would not charge me for that or for the wood chair screw since it was an easy fix. I was completely surprised by these claims. I couldn't imagine that he could possibly charge me for the wood chair or the microwave handle that simply wouldn't close. We had covered all of the upholstery with blankets since we have children, and we had been extremely careful during our stay. I do not believe we stained the white chairs, but even if we had, I was surprised to be told the guest would need to pay for cleaning or replacement of both. Vrbo informed me that to dispute this, I would have needed photos of the furniture before leaving, which I hadn’t thought to take because I never expected there would be an issue.While I am paying for the charges, this experience left me very disappointed, and I personally would not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage to friends and family! The cottage was very clean and in excellent shape! We cooked most of our meals and had everything we needed to do that (just bring your own spices). The host was responsive to questions ahead of time, and we had no issues during our stay. The 5-7 min walk to the beach was easy with our teen and tween. However, there are many steps to get down to the beach via the private access to be aware of. We enjoyed having the pool so close and having some pool towels for our use. Enough basic supplies were available for our stay. We did use the separate beach chair rental service and were very happy with that too. We would happily stay here again!

Weekend getaway

Location was great for walking to the beach. We didnt use the bikes but there was many people out biking to a shoppe area about a mile away. Beach access does have stairs down to the beach, so keep in mind when going. Not a complaint for private and there wasnt many people while we were there. Owner was quick to communicate with any questions.

Perfect!

The cottage was adorable, and perfect for our week’s vacation for a party of 3. It was exactly as advertised; very clean; well stocked, and quiet. The beach was a short walk, and the bikes were great to go out and about on. Jason made the check in and out process very easy! Thank you! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Awesome stay!

This was my family’s first time staying in this area so we didn’t exactly know what to expect but this house and location did not disappoint! The house was very clean upon our arrival and the location was far better than I expected! Close to great restaurants, a short easy walk to the beach (even with our kids ages 6 & 5). We had a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

Peaceful Stay

Our family of five fit perfectly in the cottage. Short walk to the beach, and the provided beach chairs and wagon were nice. We really enjoyed the pool and relaxing on the porch overlooking the pool! The property manager was so nice and responsive.

Peaceful and relaxing

Finding the cottage and accessing the home were very easy, the home was very clean and ready for us. The walk to the beach and beach access were great, pool area was clean. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed plus some, would recommend.

Great family stay

Our family of four stayed here for 4 nights. Great location on the pool and within walking distance to the beach. Lots of other families to meet and kids to play with during spring break. Walkway along the road made me nervous with young kiddo (4yo), but appreciated the short walk to beach. All within driving distance to anything else you need or want. Would go back again!

Perfect trip!

We planned a last minute trip to 30A and found the perfect place for our family of 4! It was a wonderful space for littles & close to the beach. Jason provides everything you need - wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. He even provides a pack & play for littles. The pool area was so nice & clean, the hot tub wasn’t working a couple of days and the pool isn’t heated so it was pretty chilly during early March. I would 100% recommend Jason’s cottage to anyone!

The house was in such a great location. Walking distance to Alys Beach & Rosemary. Super short walk to the beach. The house was beautiful, clean, & so cozy. Will definitely be staying again!
