Lovely stay at this home! Very comfortable, full kitchen,had A/C in the heat wave which was SUPER appreciated ! Could walk to a Greek Pizza restaurant, and was very quiet. Situated less than a block from the main drag in the Village of Nassau, this delightful property was the perfect base of operation for our leaf peeping tour of this historic region.

Small village, great old house perfect location

We needed a comfortable place to stay while attending a historical weekend symposium with timber framing friends at Eastfield Village and this was perfect. Very good hosts and good communication all round. Quiet nights and scenic drives in lovely Fall weather.

We were quite happy with our stay in this lovely apartment. The listing is quite accurate. Our host obviously spent much time making it comfortable and supplied the necessities we would need. Although the bedroom was quite small, it was cozy.

The early historical homes like our home had small bedrooms. They were easier to heat. The room is cozy and the rest of the suite is spacious. The grounds add so much more…. I’m so glad you enjoyed your time with us.

Best Vrbo in the area!

2nd time staying here. Hosts are informative and friendly! I took a little stroll to the store a couple blocks away and it started to rain. I turned around at checkout and she was there to take me back with my grocery’s in her car. Wow! Thank you both so much! Love the place. Has everything you need…just like home.

Considerate host

Melody is considerate of her guests however because she doesn't sleep in the space I am assuming that she doesn't realize that the bed squeaks as well as the door to the bedroom. Also the bedroom is tight.

This house is a historic structure and if you visit any early homes the bedrooms are on the smaller size. It is cozy and comfortable and for what you perceive as tight the rest of the suite makes up for as it is quite large. I wish I knew about the squeak we would have corrected it immediately. This is my first rating that is not a 5 star.

Great choice in the Hudson Valley area

Great find! Stayed while viditing family and tired of loud hotels. Super clean 1 bedroom second floor apartment. Beautifully decorated. Fun games to use. Nice lication. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Melody and her husband were great communicators. Easy check in and out. They have a wonderful property . Will certainly stay again when in the area. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Comfortable and cozy

I can’t think of anything this place was missing! It was cozy, comfortable, all amenities, internet, cable, streaming, awesome fireplace, comfy furniture and decorated for fall! Large bright kitchen and bath with modern appliances and coffee barista table! Clean too! Easy access from Albany airport. Oh, did I mention that it is a beautiful historic house? Charming Rental

This rental is very charming. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. When in the area we’d definitely stay here again. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. As we arrived into town we realized that we had an issue with one of our tires. Randy was kind enough to help us figure out which tire was the issue and filled it with air. He then directed us to where we could take it to be looked at the next morning. This was such a great help to us!!

About Time

This place was absolutely what I needed! Growing up in Columbia County it reminded me of my home in Glenco Mills. I choose this particular area, because is was close to sis in Valatia, best buddy in Ghent, and another buddy 4 miles away. Hudson is where I went to school and has changed so much?!?!?I still love that little city. Could have stayed with friends and family, but I needed time for me, to roll on the beautiful country roads, and admire where I once lived The hosts where absolutely fantastic, they where very hospitable to my friends, and myself! They, I would say are a “happy wife happy life” top tier couple. He was helpful in preparing my bus for my trip home, and even bumped his head doing so, and took it like a real man. I would recommend this property any day of the week, except when I plan to return Thank you for being a part of a positive vacation vibe. God bless

Very nice 1 bedroom apartment. We stayed 2 nights. and enjoyed the classic looks of this turn of the century house plus the modern amenities of a well appointed kitchen, WiFi & large smart TV. Our hostess was very helpful and left lots of info in the unit with places to go & things to do! NOTE - If you are using Google Maps, make sure to enter the zip code after the address. Columbia County Berkshire Visit

The 2nd floor apartment suite of the cozy Rest Haven manor was very nice. The suite is well appointed for travelers looking for a convenient place to stay to visit the Berkshire mountain region of Columbia County. Melody and Randy are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and places to visit. They afford their guests with privacy but are available if needed. We highly recommend the suite as a very good place to stay, relax and enjoy the surrounding areas.

Hidden Gem

Our experience at thisnAirb&b was phenomenal. The picture a so not do this place justice. So well appointed, all the kitchen accessories were brand new, everything seemed to have just been recently renovated,fresh and brand new.i couldn't find a spec of dirt. The decor was so relaxing, inviting and well done. It was like staying in a magazine cover for BH&G. At night, it was very quiet and peaceful, the bed is very comfortable, the amenities left nothing to be desired. The parking was also easy and we stayed in the day of a major snow storm. Melody was also very accommodating when I asked for an early check in due to the snow. I truly look forward to going back.

Lovely winter getaway

Melody's place is a comfy, cozy, and charming space with everything needed for a short stay. We visited over an unusually cold long weekend and were prepared to stay indoors for our visit, and the space was exactly what we were hoping for. There were books and board games and an electric fireplace, and a bit of winter decorations on the windows too. We took a short walk to the nearby frozen lake and also drove over to Hudson to explore, but the majority of time was spent relaxing in the living room. Melody is an attentive hostess who sent us detailed information for check-in ahead of schedule. She is very knowledgeable and willing to share her love of her neighborhood with her guests. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back to experience the area in a different season!
