Had an amazing stay. Such a cute condo. Absolutely amazing view of the dunes and the ocean. Condo stocked with what we needed for our weekend away. Fireplace was a nice treat in the evening. Will definitely be back.

Family Beach Vacation

The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully equiped. We could not have asked for a better location to the beach. The kids with us were young and having just a quick walk back to the condo for the restroom was great. I will stay here again for sure.

True to its reviews

Enjoyable property. Comfortable bed, everything we needed in the kitchen, beach and ocean out the living area large windows, good birding on the beach and lagoon with extensive areas to walk, quiet when we were there. The only drawback to the location is the heavily patched narrow Beach Rd getting to Pajaro Dunes.

We truly had a wonderful vocation. The condo has a beautiful ocean decor, very clean and beautifully remodeled. The kitchen is well-equipped and the view ........ AMAZING. I would highly recommend staying there and we are definitely trying to get this condo next year.

My 3 day retreat alone

The condo was comfy, welcoming and ideal for me. Pelican Point is the last area at Pajaro Dunes so is less crowded and perfect fir my need to be alone. And looking from the main room or patio you can see the ocean, surf and sand! Walked mikes/day and loved the ocean and birds and birds and . . . Annette is a superb host - needed to communicate with her (actually a few times) and she responded quickly with answers and help when needed.

Fantastic Condo!

The condo was amazing! It was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. There were wonderful touches to make you feel at home like packs of coffee left by the coffee maker. The kitchen was very well stocked with an assortment of pots, pan, utensils and appliances. There were also ample dishes and glassware. I liked the location on the first floor which had easy beach access from the deck. I was there with my sister for a girls' weekend. I slept in the living room on the Murphy bed and it was very comfortable. There were a variety of streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc) on both TV's, and since the weather was pretty rainy while we were there, it was nice having a variety of movies to watch. I have stayed at Pajaro Dunes many, many times over the years in a variety of condo units but this is by far, one of the nicest units I have rented. I would definitely rent it again!

Asking for locksmith charges to be refunded: $390

There is an electronic dead bolt lock on the front door. We had the combination, and it opened as expected. We stayed the night on Friday, August 25. On Saturday, we locked up for an excursion to Monterey. The front door has a standard chamber lever style door knob, which was inadvertently locked as we left the property. Upon returning mid-afternoon on Saturday, the 26, we realized that the door was locked with the door latch and could only be opened with a physical key. Since this is a gated community, we obtained a duplicate key from the employee at the gate. It did not fit the keyhole, and of course it did not unlock the door. We contacted the gatehouse, who contacted the owner, but we were told the owner was out of the country, and they could not help us. We contacted VRBO, and had an extensive "chat," and were told that we would hear from another representative of VRBO about our problem. As the afternoon was soon to be evening, we called the local fire department for advice, but they said they could not enter the locked unit unless there was an actual fire. They suggested we call a locksmith. As darkness fell, we had my prescription medicines and all our personal effects inside a locked condominium. We had no choice but to call the local locksmith, who got us into the unit for a total charge of $390. There is a realtor style lockbox near the door, but the combination we had to the electronic deadbolt did not operate the doorknob.

Steven we are sorry you had trouble with the front door lock during your stay. When you check in we give detailed instructions that include the combination to the lock in case the door handle accidentally is locked. We also give our direct phone number to reach us anywhere and anytime. We do wish you would have called; text or left a message with us directly. After hearing from the resort I called you immediately to help resolve the problem. Unfortunately you had already called the locksmith. When I ask why you did not leave a message or text. Your reply was you do not text. We work very hard to make sure our guest enjoy their stay with us. It would have been nice to work this out with you directly instead of receiving a 1 star review. Our beach home is a small oasis steps to the ocean, creating a relaxing vacation is our goal. Again we apologize for the trouble you had with the lock and we wish you the best!

Quiet tranquility

Lovely, very clean and quiet property. Would have liked to have a table outside as shown on the listing to enjoy a meal. Somewhat disappointed with all the extra fees and insurance you need through Vrbo. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Wonderful condo. Clean and well renovated. Really enjoyed our short stay. Thank you to the owners. P.s. Guests should watch where they park. I was parked for just a few minutes, 10 or maybe 15, in the homeowners’ spots - and they swooped in and left me a $100 ticket! :(

So relaxing

Been coming to Pajaro Dunes for years. Never stayed at a place this nice. We honestly could have never come home! It was such an incredible few days of relaxing and rejuvenation. The view and beach access were so amazing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The best Pajaro Dunes has to offer

I have been coming to Pajaro Dunes since I was a little kid and this is hands down the nicest condo I've ever stayed at. Nothing beats the Pajaro location but many of the units found here are outdated to say the least. This property, however, is newly remodeled and they did an incredible job with the remodel. The kitchen is spacious and beautiful with a great view of the water while you're cooking. The shower is really nice and the bathroom is also done really well. The bedroom was nice and the bed super comfortable. The location was wonderful. Though it's on the first floor you still get a great view of the ocean. Plus the condo is right next to the exit to get to the beach so you're literally just steps away. Check in was super easy and they use an electronic lock which is wonderful. Memorize the combination and then there's no need to keep track of a key while you're on the beach. The owners are super friendly and very good about communicating. Very excited to have found this unit and cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic property

I can't express enough just how nice the condo was - very modern, very clean, everything you might need, and downright beautiful. The Pajaro Dunes resort was very nice and the ocean view and beach access of this condo was maybe the best in the whole complex. Entry was keyless which was very convenient. The pictures and description are spot on. What you see is what you get, and it is great. The beach right there is great and you are minutes away from just about anything in the Monterrey bay.

Great property

This is the perfect place for a vacation. Annette was very responsive and helpful. Her property is well-situated right on the beach. Highlights include lunch on the deck looking out at the beach, playing boardgames on the floor in front of the fire, and gathering seashells along the beach. Because of her location at the end of the Pajaro Dunes, the beach feels like a private beach without anyone anywhere (at least while we were there - might be different in high season). If you have little ones, they can play in the sand which starts about 10 feet from your deck. We appreciated the little touches like charging cables for all your mobile devices. We hope to return soon!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Pajaro Dunes, loved our view of the ocean from this condo. Check in was smooth, and the owner responded to any questions we had quickly.

Besides the beautiful view and the sound of the ocean waves. There are several amenities available to use.
Full access to tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, horseshoe, pickleball.
The ocean just steps away off our back porch. Some days you may have the beach all to yourself. Enjoy watching all the birds or just grab your favorite book and sit and relax.
There is also an outside shower just outside our unit perfect to rinse off after a fun day on the beach.
