Updated Home with Ocean View - with Private Pool and Hot Tub

View the sunrise over the ocean from the Kitchen window as you pour your morning cup of coffee. Beach access a very short walk and can be seen in the aerial image.

The Space
Upon entering the Beacon on the ground level you will find ample space to store your beach gear, a rec room with a flat screen TV and sitting area. Off the rec room there are 2 bedrooms that share a full bath. The first bedroom has two twin beds, the second has a pyramid bunk (twin on top, double on bottom) and twin bed. There is also a utility room with full size washer and dryer. The private pool, hot/cold outdoor shower and dual fuel grill/smoker are also accessible from this ground level. Very easy!

As you head up to the 2nd level this is the main living area. The open kitchen layout offers bar seating and a view of the dining room and living area. The living area offers ample seating with large sectional, great for a movie or family game night! The deck is accessible from the dining and living room area with great ocean views! Also on this level is a Queen Bedroom and full bath!

The 3rd level houses 2 more bedrooms another full bath. The back bedroom offers a Full bed and twin and has great ocean views. The front Queen bedroom offers a private balcony to watch the sunset or enjoy a peaceful morning cup of coffee.

NEW FOR 2022! 4-5 Person Hot tub installed on pool deck. Hot tub will be available year round! Also, second floor bathroom is being renovated to include large walk-in shower.

Other things to note:
- Linens provided including bed sheets and towels
- Free High Speed Wifi
- Weekly rentals only with Saturday afternoon check in (off season flexibility available)
- Smart TV's with Roku and Apple TV services to access streaming services
- Pool is heated in the late spring and early fall, however ambient temperature needs to be above 60 for it to heat properly
- Grill has a propane side and a charcoal smoker side, with firebox for those BBQ masters.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was perfect and the house was spotless. The pool was amazing, although we would recommend installing a railing on the main steps to help older adults get in/out. The beds were comfortable; however, the two twins downstairs were quite squeaky/creaky. We absolutely would stay here again--it fit our family's needs perfectly!

The property was clean and as shown in the VRBO site. Very close to the beach access boardwalk. We enjoyed our week at this property. The weather was perfect. The host was very responsive both prior to check-in and during our stay. We plan to come back to this property the next time we vacation in Emerald Isle.

Great for families

Wonderful house for families. Great location with a short walk to beach. Pool in the back yard was a hit with the littles and teens alike. Well stocked house that lives easy.

Awesome home with everything needed!

Home was great! Clean and had everything we needed for the week. Location was awesome as it’s less than 5 min walk to beach. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit especially on cooler days during our stay! Homeowner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We’d definitely like to return on a future date

Good location

Overall the property was okay. Upon arrival the kitchen was pretty dirty. Crumbs were on the kitchen counter, kitchen chairs, and table. The glass table was smeared with something sticky and had to be cleaned. The upstairs shower was dirty. There are also some safety feature concerns if you have young or special needs kids. Upstairs patio door to balcony does not have a lock. One of the window locks in the top story bedroom was broke and not usable. Location and proximity to beach were excellent. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice.

Spectacular Stay!!

If you want a stay away from home, this is definitely a place we would choose again! Plenty of things to do both in the house and nearby. Everything was very clean and well taken care of (including the pool and hot tub). We had an issue with the air condition around dinner time, and they had someone out the next morning to fix the issue! We couldn’t be happier with everything! If there was one down side it would be the house didn’t stay cool during the day. The temperature was typically around 72-74 when set at 69. If you don’t mind that then this is the place for you!

The house was very dirty , we found mold in the coffee pot , the floors were very dirty . The downstairs bedrooms at bugs and cockroaches.. The pool was also dirty , we had to clean it before use .. Dead bugs everywhere.. We were all very disappointed.

Great Location and Awesome Pool

We really enjoyed staying here.The only complaint I had was that the pool didn’t have a rail to get into or out,made it a little hard for some of the older folks but other than that we had a blast.The house was very clean and well stocked with what we needed.Thank you and hope to stay there again.

Beach life đŸ–ïž

Love the location and house! Very short walk to beach access, house was fully equipped with everything that you would need. The pool and hot tub was a great area for the the kids to hang out at or take a break from the ocean. Pet friendly and was allowed to bring my husky on the trip, who just loved the beach . Family Vacation

The children really enjoyed the pool and the location being so close to the beach. The hot tub was great after a day at the beach. It was the ideal house for a large family with children.

Great property & close to the beach

The house was very nice & clean. Plenty of space for our family. The pool was a nice size, but I wish there was a door from the house directly to the pool (had to keep dogs on a leash to get them to the pool). Just a short walk to the public beach access. A great place to stay.

Just what was needed

This was our 5th trip to EI and our second stay at this house. We absolutely enjoyed it. The pool was nice way to entertain the kiddos while we prepared supper. The location is perfect. We will be back next year.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful stay and had very easy to follow info to access getting into the property. The house had most items that would be needed to cook with and even items such as cooking oil, spices, foil, plastic wrap to name a few which would be helpful if you needed them in a pinch. Owners were great! If I could be a critic I could complain of the sand that was still evident on floors and the kitchen countertop when we arrived, but hey we were at the beach lol. Overall we were very happy and would stay there again.
