Gorgeous and iconic farmhouse located in the east railroad district of downtown San Luis Obispo. Situated in its own lovely microclimate, this historical gem has a private estate like-setting with a large backyard featuring several fruit trees and grape vines, creekside foliage and its very own windmill.

This meticulously cared for farmhouse has an open floorplan downstairs with living area, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and full bathroom. Up the stairs you`ll find three bedrooms all with queen sized beds and bathroom with shower. The home is fully stocked with all the essentials you`ll need to enjoy your trip. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac just moments to downtown.

Whole house and property

I manage multiple Airbnb`s in the area. I do my best to be available 24/7 for my guests. I can be reached by text, Airbnb message or phone at any time during your stay. I live nearby, so if there is an emergency I can be to the property quickly.

Safe, quiet and family-friendly neighborhood in the east railroad district near French Hospital.

Quick 10-minute walk to downtown- thanks to the pedestrian bridge at the train tracks. 1 mile to Higuera St. Multiple restaurant options nearby.

We are located near the train station and some train noise can be heard at times. Mostly just the train horn and the last train come through no later than 9pm.

Walk, bike, drive, Uber, Lyft... all the ways.

This historic home is 100 years old and comes with the quirks and squeaks you would expect. The yard is not fully fenced so if you are traveling with a pet, please keep that in mind.

Perfect location to downtown SLO, the airport, the Madonna Inn and local beaches and attractions. Very clean and well equipped. Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. I would definitely recommend this property. My family and I had a great time.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of this house. It truly is an older farmhouse with all the squeaks and creaks you’d expect. My 6’4” husband and son had difficulty navigating the low vines and foliage along the path to door- especially in the dark. We liked the close proximity of the house to downtown SLO and the accessibility to walking the great bike trails. We especially loved the friendly neighborly cat that would come around beach day for some attention. Thanks for a nice time!

Wonderful stay!

We rented this home for a month and it really felt like a home to us. The house was well supplied with everything we needed and was in a wonderful location. We walked to downtown every day and sat on the porch every night. I really hope we can stay again!

We had an incredible stay. The house is so well decorated and equipped. Communication was friendly and easy. The location was perfect, so close to downtown.

The kitchen is spacious and easy to use. Many great meals were cooked there during our visit. The laundry room was convenient to use during our stay. Three nice bedrooms are upstairs. Just note that each bed squeaks with every turn and in & out. The stairs and floors are very old so they also make noise with every step. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and are very comfortable. The porch with rocking chairs was the real highlight! You can spend the afternoon in the cool shade and enjoy the neighbors and dogs on their walks. Being able to walk easily downtown via the train bridge was a fun way to enjoy SLO. Unfortunately on our visit the BBQ was unusable. It was replaced with urgency. The host was responsive when needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at the farm house in SLO. The location and property were fabulous. The patio, porch and all the interiors were so inviting, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, but it was nice to know there were restaurants so close if we wanted to eat out. Thank you so much for sharing this special property with us. We would love to return for a future visit.

A beautiful farmhouse with all the modern upgrades. Very clean, great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown and highway 101 if you want to explore areas around the area. Property owner was very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend this property. It was my second stay here with Gal pals.
