Charming Cottage - Conveniently located to Cal Poly and Downtown SLO
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located cottage in downtown SLO. The cottage is light and airy, with all the essentials minus the clutter. Bonus points if you find the original 1930âs milk door!
Great location for visiting Cal Poly; walking or biking to our townâs famous Thursday evening Farmerâs Market; or getting away for a long weekend of hiking, mountain biking or wine tasting (all within 10 minutes of the cottage).
The cottage is in close proximity to some great local coffee shops (Field Day and Skippers) and downtown restaurants. Easy bike ride into downtown or a 10 minute walk.
Get a good nightâs rest on our new mattresses. Both rooms have blackout curtains and new bedding.
Can ride directly out to Poly Canyon/Stenner Creek mountain bike trails.
The dining area doubles as a work space with a small table and outlets nearby.
We purchased the cottage in 2013 and have been enjoying upgrading it while maintaining some of the original 1930âs charm.
The cottage was really cute, clean, and very conveniently located to the downtown area. It was easy to get anywhere. We really appreciated the chocolates left for us and the timely welcome and check in info.
Our stay in the cottage was comfortable and convenient for 3 adults. The location is wonderfully quiet while being close to Cal Poly and downtown. Street parking with lots of availability is another plus. Kitchen amenities are a bit limited but we primarily ate out so had no issues. We also appreciated having a later checkout. We would stay here again for our next SLO visit.
Charming cottage super close to Cal Poly campus and downtown SLO. Comfortable and perfect for our family of 4- had absolutely everything we needed or wanted. Will certainly stay here again!!!
Great location- walk downtown or to Cal Poly. The house had everything we needed. Loved the bonus of fruit trees in the yard! Host was very responsive and gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Thank you for all- we had a great stay!
The cottage was perfect for our weekâs stay. Itâs a beautiful, cozy space and in a fantastic location. We thought it might feel a bit busy being so close to Monterey but it was as quiet as could be. The lemon tree in the backyard was a bonus and I sliced fresh lemon for my water daily. We walked everywhere easily and parking was a non-issue. Amber was the perfect host. Canât wait to come back!!
Perfect cottage for my family of four. Easy walk or drive to downtown. Parking on the street was never a problem, there was always room directly in front for both of our cars. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Communication with our host was excellent.
Great place for a short visit. Clean and central. Modest kitchen and tight space but much more relaxing than a hotel. Definitely on the list for next visit.
The cottage met and exceeded our expectations. It is in an amazing location as we bounced back and forth from Cal Poly and downtown. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in this cute, homey cottage.
This property is very well-maintained and close to downtown SLO. The owners were very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Definitely will stay here again.
This was a great find. The location was prime. So close to everything. The host was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond. It was exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend this cute little place!
Our stay at Amberâs cottage was great! So convenient to downtown and Cal Poly campus. The clientele of the neighboring motel was a little sketchy at times but overall the area was safe and convenient. House was clean & comfortable. We had a great stay!
What a charming, comfortable and well stocked home, in a great location! We loved our stay - felt very comfortable, clean, safe and just lovely! We walked to dinner, breakfast, coffee and downtown. We will be back! Thank you!
Our stay was lovely. The cottage is comfortable and has necessities (think coffee k cups, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, brita water in fridge). We walked everyday to a couple of coffee shops. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. Know that the bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms-not a big deal for us, but required some thought. We would stay again!
