This unit is perfectly located on the 9th floor and on the East side of the complex conveniently close to the parking garage.

Keyless entry door lock so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay!!

Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.

There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and a new outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.

Come relax on the spacious 9th floor balcony with great views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access! There are two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture, granite countertops, and new cabinetry. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

We also have another 2br unit next door should you need more room.

Parking: Parking passes are a one time fee of $70 plus tax per vehicle. You will receive an email prior to your arrival to purchase the passes and will then be picked up at the front desk upon arrival. One bedroom condos are guaranteed 1 parking pass. Two and three bedroom condos are guaranteed two parking passes. Additional passes will be sold based on availability in the parking lot.

HVAC unit does not work on heat or ac at all. Fan itself works but that is about it. It was very hot at night! Secondary bathroom tub does not drain well. You have to stand in about 6 inches of water to shower. Toilet flapper also gets stuck in that bathroom. Rugs are completely nasty and stained. Kitchen faucet drips a little. Bathroom rags are old and very brown. Great location!!! Perfect size with amazing views, but needs some tlc.

Exactly What We Were Looking For!

Everything about the stay was very easy. The unit was clean. The view of the Gulf was amazing from the balcony, living area, and bedroom. We walked over to the Floribama a few times and had a great time. The bed was comfortable, everything worked great. We would stay again for sure.

Great stay

Great stay. Would have been better if the elevator close to the parking garage worked. We also had issues with the WiFi not working and called two different numbers regarding this that were provided. One did not have a voicemail. The other we left a voicemail and did not receive a return call, text, or email. So we did not have any WiFi throughout our stay.

Labor Day weekend

The condo was nice. It had amazing views and was plenty of space for 4 adults and 1 child. The plumbing in the building is old and we had multiple issues. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

A nice condo. Was acceptably clean and in a good location. Nice beachfront and pools. The main issue was that the front door did not close unless you pulled it shut, just letting it close would not cause the lock to engage, unlike every other hotel or resort I've stayed in. So on a couple occasions we realized that the front door had been open while we were away. This needs to be resolved. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Could’ve been better

While the location is great right next to Flora-Bama, I was very disappointed in the unit itself. The housekeeping is severely lacking, when we pulled out the sofa couch popcorn fell to the ground. There was also hair in the master bedroom sink upon arrival. Most of the beds did not have actual pillows just deflate shams. We did have an issue with the AC but the host was very on top of it and had hvac come fix it asap, so was very pleased with their attentiveness to that issue. The cleanliness was really the major downfall.

While the response to the maintenance issues was timely and efficient, we dealt with a non functional sink disposal that also wouldn’t drain which kept us from using dishwasher. Then had a pretty significant water leak under sink that greeted us in morning on kitchen floor. Very little in the way of anywhere to put clothing for the week. No dressers, very few closet hangers. Lived out of a suitcase all week. We knew it wasn’t a large condo but pictures lead to thinking it was a bit more spacious.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Horrible smell when we got there, turned out to be fish in the disposal. Dated and worn furniture. No coffee maker, blow dryer in primary bath didn't work. Wasn't cleaned as it should have been for what is charged for cleaning.

Great beach but condo was less than desirable

Pool facilities were great. Phoenix 10 is next to flora-bama beach bar so we could hear their live music and get drinks/food/bathroom as needed. Used Ike's chair service and they were awesome. The down side was the condo itself. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and hoe-out of old stuff filling the closets. The shower knob was full of mold; shower curtains look to be 10 years old. Never felt clean in the shower. Hair on the floor that was not the color of anyone in my family. We had to vacuum when we got there. No soap/sponge provided so had to purchase those for items that could not fit in dishwasher. Kitchen stuff is extremely old and crusty and did not feel comfortable using some of it. It is a very tight condo for our party of 5. We did enjoy the balcony though. Overall, I might consider this building again (if tennis courts and gym get fixed) but would never stay in this unit again.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 915x was disappointing to say the least. I didn’t feel like it was very clean. We had someone sleep on the sleeper sofa. I would not expect too much from a sleeper sofa but this pad was very thin and you had a bar sticking you in the back when you laid down. We found cheerios from other guests in the sleeper sofa. Just putting a moving blanket down was a decent improvement to the pad. I emailed the first night because the shower would not drain and our WiFi password that was provided did not work. With no warning they did come the next day to fix the tub. I was happy they fixed it but I would have appreciated a heads up or a response to the email. We never did receive the WiFi password. Finally went downstairs and the lobby attendant gave us the building WiFi password. The shower curtain was to say the least absolutely disgusting. If I would have thought about it earlier in the trip I would have went to Walmart and bought a replacement for the inside clear curtain. The corners the bathrooms had gross buildup that looked like mold. The refrigerator drawer was broke. The pillows had stains on them, I do not use pillows supplied when traveling but if I did I would have not used those. On a good note the ac did work well. I had seen someone in the reviews say that the ac was not cooling well. If the owner/management company is interested we took photos of the curtain and some of the grime. I would not recommend or visit this unit again. We had previously stayed at phoenix locations before and had better experiences. The building itself was fine. The pools on the property were great. The bbq area was great. The parking garage had adequate parking and the spaces seemed a little wider than other places we’ve stayed. Also the building had adequate elevators. I don’t think we waited longer that 30 seconds for an elevator which I appreciate.

One major issue was the door would not close on its own like every other hotel or room rental I've had. So more than once we came back to the room to find the door not locked and open. Also the billing to the CC was for a property rental and not billed like a typical hotel or resort so I was unable to use credit card miles. I would use this location again.

orange beach spring break

Parts of the unit were nice and updated and yet there were parts that clearly could use updates. the showers could use updating. disappointed that the fitness center did not open till 7:00 multiple machines were out of order. no dressers in the unit so it was really hard to keep clothes organized for the week. the closet in the front room was full with pictures, a broken tv stand and a tv. so no place store clothes. the blender in the unit was broken. lots of pots and pans and basic cooking stuff in the unit. would be nice to have a drying rack for the dishes. the unit could use a good cleaning. decent amount of sand on the floor when we first checked in the room.

1st beach trip for the kids.
