We gave this stay in Hollywood 5 stars. The parking situation was excellent, and the location was perfect—being so central made it easy to go both east and west around the city. There are great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance; our favorites were Liberation Coffee and Pizzeria Mozza at the Melrose & Highland intersection.The place itself was very clean and had plenty of thoughtful touches, including a lovely outdoor patio. While it doesn’t have a full kitchen, the provided snacks along with the mini-fridge and microwave were a great touch and more than enough for us since we ate out most meals (so much great food nearby!).Kevin was a very communicative and welcoming host. The location felt safe and was perfect for the two of us and our pup. Highly recommend!

owner double booked property

Kevin, the owner, double booked this property and left me out in the rain. He was nice enough to call VRBO, but that did little good. This owner oversight literally ruined my Friday evening Hollywood Bowl plans with friends. Fortunately, VRBO helped out in the end and the weekend was not a total loss. MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CONFIRM YTOUR BOOKING!!!

Amazing

Property was better than advertised!! Very clean and stocked with everything we needed and then some. Very close to all attractions we were there for and Kevin, the owner, even sent us a bottle of wine!!

Small, but nice

Very nice, very clean. The owner was kind and left snacks and drinks for us. 4 stars because the water was cloudy from the sink so if you wanted to get a drink you had to go pick something up from the store down the street (nice that there was one within waking distance!). The street that the room was on was also pretty dirty, but the owner can't help that and I'm sure it'd be the same anywhere in that area.

Nice Hollywood Room

A very functional little spot in the center of Hollywood. Perfect for work trips with internet working fine etc everything one would need for a quick few day trip. Neighborhood parking was easy. The security was fine but the room being at street level and the porch w/out any protection from someone hopping easily over it meant i could not leave the sliding door open and hence no fresh air- the place wreaked of candy-scented cleaning products/detergent and was quite stuffy at night. Thank god it wasn't hot weather. The owner was great, very communicative and quick to respond and left a little goody basket upon arrival which is always a real sweet move.

Why hotel when you can Vrbo?

While the place didn’t have the raw square footage or full kitchen as some of the listings, is was a fabulous stay. It had a fantastic location that was quiet and had ample parking, often right out front of the door and never more than a block. The amenities match and/or surpassed those of five star hotels. The snacks and drinks provided were a welcome addition and the check-in / check-out process couldn’t have been easier! I would recommend and stay there again when visiting WeHo!

Fantastic experience

Great location to get to all of the sitghts we wanted to see on our trip. Kevin was fast to reply to all of our needs and we had the added bonus of a Tesla EV charger and parking spot around the corner from the apartment. All in all a memorable expereince and I could not rate it highly enough.

We loved our stay. It was super clean and comfortable. We moved our son to an apartment nearby and this location was a short walk to his new place. We will definitely stay here again! Also, check in-check out was super easy.

A Perfect Hollywood Pad!

The condo had everything we needed for a Hollywood stay and was within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see. The communication was excellent and the complimentary snacks were such a nice touch! Highly recommend staying here.

Not bad, but


First, let me say that the host was very responsive, and the unit had most of what you’d need for a short Hollywood stay. But a few things were hard to overlook. While the unit overall appeared clean, the shower was the exception. In fact, I had to remove a tangled clump of hair from the drain before using it. The floor of the shower didn’t look clean in general. If you did nothing else to the shower as a housekeeper, seems like you’d at least clean the gunk off the drain. That was pretty nasty. The host gets big kudos for the nice selection of complimentary snacks and drinks provided, as others have noted. But I don’t think you can say that a coffeemaker, microwave and mini fridge on/in a cabinet is a kitchenette without having a sink. Maybe a snack station? And the minifridge’s freezer was iced up BAD. As in totally closed off and unusable. It covered the outside of the freezer compartment so much that it reduced the useable space of the fridge compartment somewhat. Nonetheless, it was usable for keeping a few beverages cold. Regarding street parking out front, it mostly wasn’t available at any time. Do not rely on being able to park near the unit. We were able to find a solitary spot a block away, however. The unit is listed as having central A/C. But you are occupying the ground floor of the host’s own residence (we awoke to a dog scurrying across floor of room above) and you cannot adjust the temperature. It was too hot in the eve/night for comfort.

A nice clean place in a great location

Communication with Kevin was excellent. The place was just like a hotel room but we were provided with a basket of complimentary snacks and beverages which was very much appreciated! Easy to get in and out of and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were in town for a family celebration so most days got home late so finding parking on the street could be a bit of a challenge. But I guess that's to be expected in LA.Overall it was a great experience. Thanks Kevin!

Great location!

We had a wonderful time in LA for my husband’s 40th birthday trip in large part because of this place. It is in a FANTASTIC location, was very clean, and parking was relatively easy to find. It is small but cozy and very much is as described - like a nice hotel room with a mini fridge and a great patio. Since we were seeing sites all day and out to dinner each night, this fit the bill perfectly. The only thing I wish it had was access to ice, but we picked up from the 7-11 around the corner when we wanted to make a late night cocktail. Overall, a great experience!

Perfect little place

This was perfect for two people who aren't spending much time at their place. Like a hotel suite with a nice outdoor area. Location was perfect walking distance to Hollywood attractions. Parking on the street was easy. Bonus bountiful free snack basket.

This place worked perfect for us.

This place is private, cute, cozy and safe. Clean! Plenty of supplies; towels, linens, coffee, water and SNACKS! Thanks extra for the snacks, Kevin! We loved the private little patio off the front, listening to tunes or hearing the neighborhood passersby. Bed was comfy. Kevin was super attentive in replying to the very few questions we had. And he lives on site, so I imagine if there were any major issue, it’d be resolved just as quick. My partner and I were in town for Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday celebration this weekend. Hi, I’m Kevin.. I have properties in NYC and LA because of work in the music industry and this is still relatively early stages of my passion project. I got a couple of incredibly historic buildings across the street from my Hollywood house and converted the lot into stunning vacation homes. It started out with needing a guest house for friends who are touring musicians, actors and producers. Prior to working in music, I studied hotel management in college back home in Ireland. I began busking with friends in college days and one thing lead to another, so I had to shelve the tourism career for a while and hit the road touring.

I spent years living out of sleeper tour busses, airports, hotels, performing shows at huge venues, TV shows, etc. Days off in nice accommodations were a luxury for the band and crew. I definitely can relate to why former entertainment industry pros endorse and try to nail the perfect travel brand in retirement ;-)

You’re GUARANTEED NOT to find any silly $10 bottles of water, hike to delayed check in, and all that.. If you're looking for CLEAN, hassle free, place to call home for a few weeks/months - any of the World Artists Living properties are perfect! The majority of our guests now are traveling professionals. My aim is to provide 5 star hotel quality combined with the relaxed vibe of just being at your home. My parents ran a guesthouse when I was growing up in Ireland, long before VRBO and their genuine hospitality is something that I aim to achieve. Most guests have more interaction with Natalia than me as she's around the properties daily. We don't operate like a traditional hotel or run of the mill AirBnB - after check in you’ll see that you’ll be extremely comfortable and we run our properties very well.
