Beautiful Condo

I love the Baytowne area and greatly enjoy staying there every year. This condo was great, clean, everything functional. My only note is that there is so much information shared in the Vrbo inbox that it’s hard to find what you need in all the text.

Comfy getaway

The bed was my favorite part! I never sleep well in unfamiliar beds, but I had no issues sleeping during my stay. The "balcony" was disappointing. I was hoping to sip my coffee on the balcony in the mornings, but I wasn't able to do that due to it being so narrow. It's barely wide enough to stand on. The parking garage was only full at night after 8pm. I only parked in the outside parking for the final night there and my car was covered in tree sap the next morning. No big deal, but I want other guests to be aware of this. It was a comfy stay and a good location to be in.

Perfectly located close to the conference center!

The studio exceeded out expectations. The furnishings were resort comfortable and in wonderful condition. The short walk to the conference center was so convenient. The Sandestin Resort is a jewel on the gulf coast of Florida!

Fun but inconvenience

My first time to the area, and the resort is beautiful and huge! The beach was nice and the pools were clean. So many restaurants and shops were close to our room. However, the website consistently discusses convenience which we found was not true. The tram system was not accurate and rarely on time. We did not know you had to reach the chairs on the beach because there is no signs. We wanted to rent bikes and possibly a golf cart but there was no way, place, or person that pointed in that direction. We found ourselves confused a good amount of the time and we also knew we weren’t the only ones that felt that way. I would possibly go back since I know the way around now but for first timers it was rough learning all the tricks.

Thanks for your review Allison. Sandestin Resort is very big with lot's of actitivites. We send detailed check-in instructions 7 days before check-in, we try to include everything in detail in those instructions, however if our guests have any questions, we aim to answer back within the hour. TRAM regularly runs to the beach and back however at times, it may be delayed because of frequent stops. Golf carts unfortunately cannot be rented in Sandestin. All the ones you see in Sandestin are owner's golf carts. If a golf cart is a must, we recommend to rent a unit that comes with golf carts. There are limited number of townhomes that offer this amenity. For renting bicycles we provide instructions in our check-in notes with a telephone no and a webpage of a service that rents them for $35 a week. They deliver and pick them up. We love beach vacations. Growing up in Cyprus, I used to think that no beach is better than the salty waters of Mediterranean and our sandy beaches are the best. Then I saw turquoise waters and sugary white beaches of Destin, Florida and fell in love at first sight. This is the reason we bought beach condos in Destin. We visit regularly as a family and rent them ourselves. Our 10 Sandestin units are at the Premier Sandestin Resort. We also own at Pelican Beach Resort, Majestic Sun Resort at Seascape and Waterscape Resort. All are beachside updated properties with great reviews.
